When he spoke about moving rail, my mouth fell open. I work on the railways and even the smallest bits of rail are extremely heavy, we do all the moving with machines. The fact that he survived that sort of labour on extremely poor nutrition is unbelievable. This man is supposed to be here for very good reason!
Rudolph Vrba said they had 8 ounces of soup per day and had to do 10 hours of hard labor. The Red Cross said the food was plentiful. Vrba later changed his story.
Wow. To even try to imagine what the people in WW2 had to go through doesn't even come close to how it really must have been. Thank you for opening up about this.
Man what can you say to this, other than, it can not, it must not ever happen again!!! Thank you so much for your story, I’m crying as I type. THANK YOU !!!
Mr. Klein, as a German who was born 1943 in Prag, I can tell you that I feel deeply ashamed about the cruelty done by my ancesters. The first time I had that feeling was when I visited the village of Oradour sur Glane in France. Let's hope and pray that these cruelties will never occur again.
Where are the concentration camps in Israel? Where are the crematories? Are Palestinians captured allover the world and brought to the concentration camps in Israel? Where are the gas chambers used in killing of Palestinians? Nazis killed about 6 million Jews in less then 5 years. The number of Palestinians killed in the conflict (since 1948) is nowhere near 6 million. Care to explain?
@@ossian108 So you mean, as long as 6 million Palestinians are not killed, their murders are not to be counted? Seems like, not only you are approving Israel looting Palestine, you are saying it is Ok to kill as long as it is small in number.
You won, Mr. Klein. You won. Thank you for your testimony.
Wtf are you talking about
@@Smalltownbrewer1 did you not watch the interview..?
@@crazymangoz9583 I think they mean, there was no winning there. He endured horrible losses although thankfully he survived the madness.

To teach us humanity so we may not gloss over it.
European rails are shorter.

Powerful testimony on the horrendous nature of genocide. Never again is now - for all people, human rights must be upheld.
Deeply moving to hear his testimony. G-d bless 💝 sending love.
Powerful story.
Wish he'd mention the engineer's name that saved his life.
It seemed to me like he either didn't know the engineer's name or didn't remember it or just forgot it in that moment
@Heinrich Himmler ???

Wonderful history lesson!
It's fortunate that people survived through their bravery and strength to be able to tell these truths about what happened.
Don't worry you won! All of you who survived won!.. And even those who didn't survive won! 🙏

So sorry what you and the other people went thru. . it was outrageous and abundantly cruel ... horrible
Do you know his name? Can you tell his family what he did for you?
I still cannot fathom how a nation could have been so cruel to other humans. It is diabolical and sick. Thank God, it is over.
I will ask God to bless this man and thank him for Gene’s survival
Heartbreaking
Why hasn't a film been made of his horrific time ?
And 'this' is exactly where our global society was headed in 2016. Don't ever doubt it.

That explains Israel's treatment of Palestine. They learnt from Nazis. I am sure there are some good Jews helping Palestinians.
