That's a good job well done ... and in that heat, I hate this weather, looks great when it's all emptied out, glad you hoovered it out around the ballast, my OCD was desperare to hoover, but of course you did it. Ha ha. Looking great Oli. Best wishes Christine x

Thanks very much 👍 felt the difference first night, not such a hard drop in temp, and it took way longer to get hot again next day. Can’t believe it made such a difference

Couldn't have been easy in this easy weather. Drink plenty of water.

Hey very interesting about insulating the floor. My floor was uninsulated and always very cold so should be worth the effort. What kind of decorative finish are you going to lay down?

I’ve not really though about decor at all tbh, I’m much more function over form, so probably a laminate or some kind, maybe hardwood faced in areas, that would be nice. But I’m not sure, I’m kinda fluid at the time with an idea in mind kind of guy 😉👍

Bad boat design 19th century only serves to accelerate deteriorating boats.
At this point you have the perfect opportunity to address fundamental weak processes in boat building.
1 water I think better practice would be to run pipe work under the gun-whale instead of chucking on the floor and behind bulkheads and cupboards.
Also more importantly draw water from the top of the tank instead of the bottom of it.
2 electrics run all electrical engineering off buzz bars and zone areas stern midships bow to lessen voltage drop.
Lay solar panel cables in roof panels instead of messy cables out on roof.
3 Bit late I see multi stove should be located a midships preferably.
Hot cabin and cold bottom creates condensation problem it's a given .
Don't hide batteries bank away they will fail and need change regularly fact
Look at Optima blue top batteries they are Swedish and look to be very good.
    Good look
