Thanks. I don't see the point yelling, screaming and making jokes in reviews. If I want to add something funny to the video then I'll do it through editing.
Ah yes, the TOCA Race Driver games. The first reboot of the TOCA series, before the second reboot with the GRiD series and the third reboot with the new GRiD series that is worse than the last. But also the only iterations of the series to get a V8 Supercars reskin in Australia, back when we still had Australian cars and V8s. Man, I miss those days...
I loved the story line back in the day as it gave some purpose to what you were doing. It’s the one thing I have missed from modern games as for example project cars & GT your just aimlessly driving round in circles so you can level up and get a better car. If you were a real life racing driver there would be a story line, there would be drama & there would be setbacks!
The TOCA games were always pretty decent. Like all Codemasters racing games, you usually know what you are getting. I recently revisited this on the XBOX and found the handling quite challenging especially when compared to modern games. The graphics and damage models blew me away as a kid when playing this on release. The selection of race categories are great, as is the choice of tracks. Not really a fan of story modes in racing games, but that's my preference. As you say it was a shame that the BTCC was missing again, especially as that what the original TOCA games were all about. Split Screen Multi-player was still pleasantly fun, but on revisiting the game I was surprised by how difficult I found the AI as you progress through the single player game. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on TOCA Race Driver 3. I could never master the BMW Williams in the career mode.
My problem with Toca 2, toooo many nonsens Streetcars and half baked Rally events. (NASCAR stuff is always boring when you are not an hardcore fan of it) I wish the focus was more on Touring Cars like in the first one. Best 6th Gen Rallycross game is Rally Fusion! 💕
I do wish that they made a game that was just Touring Cars like the old TOCA games on the PS1. I've been meaning to play Rally Fusion. I think I bought it a few years ago an then forgot about it.
Problem I had with this game was the handling when using a wheel was really hard to get right and not just spin off the track. It's the only racing game I've played a lot of that I had that issue with too
Toca 3 was terrible compared to 2. When you took a corner better than someone in 3 you would gain speed for a second then it would just stop your acceleration lol. They thought they were artificially keeping the races close but instead it made the races totally stagnant. No double overtakes no chance once you were behind. Auto sport had the same game killing back door programming. Nothing beats Toca 2. Perfect simcade balance.
Love the channel. I don't like the reviewers who yell, scream and make jokes every minute.

This game was really good in PC.

I loved Toca 1 and toca2 race driver 2 on PC with logitech wheel/pedals. Was this a console title only review?

Worked perfect with driving force pro back in the day
why in toca race driver 2 does the car takes up so much of the screen
Guess who's back
Hey can u tell me a good racing sim or simcade for pc under 15 gb with the green hell
Hello. Assetto Corsa apparently only needs 15GB of space. I can't think of any others that only needs 15GB and has the Green Hell.
@@MontegoReviews oh, k thanks its like comming back to the same place after spining around the world 😄😄
