I mounted 24x10s in the rear of an 84 coupe with no issues. It might be the tire profile thats causing you problems. The ones I used were 295 /25/24. They just barely fit.
Don’t touch the trim man, you can either lift it because it’s air ride or see if you can stack the tie rods or push the axle in a quarter inch, but as of now the best option is lift kit project. Do not touch that trim because that resale value is gonna go down a lot
Bro - 1979 Fleetwood - I found that 10 inches were too wide - everybody told me that 9" would work. I was worried about fitment too, so decided to go 22s versus 24s or 26s. 22 x 9 fit just perfect - no modifications at all - everybody swears I have 24s or 26s! I suggest shortening the rear end - so that you don't have to cut the caddy. Probably the only way to use those rims on that car. I wish you would have mentioned wheel sizes before you bought them, so we could have gave you a heads up. Lastly - air shocks are not the best on these caddys - bumper is so heavy. I replaced mine with brand new, heavy duty shocks, and they still bleed down after a few days. Go with coil overs - I think you had them on the last caddy.
HEY MY BROTHER,THERE NOTHING LIKE AN OLD SCHOOL RIDE, I HAVE A 1974 COUPLE DEVILLE SUPER FLY ADDITION. IT TAKES A LOT OF WORK TO KEEP IT UP AND RUNNING THEY ARE NOT FOR EVERYONE, BUT ITS WORTH IT . REALLY ENJOY YOUR CONTENT.
Sometimes you can cut that inner fender skin out. Edit i wouldn't spend the $ on that rear end look into a explorer 8.8 cost way less has disc brakes and posi (most) the cadillac rear ends are almost obsolete already parts are harder to come by if at all.
@@trydecaddyz6831 I got you fam I mite need your help on finding someone who good with wiring I’m going to need some lights done and you going to put a LED opera light on there?
They are bringing back the old school gangsta white walls back on the caddy something different from low pro vouges like the old school caddy that is just the new wave low pro version just a lil info I'm from Texas we are big on cadillac

HAVE YOU TRIED USING A FENDER ROLLER ATTACHMENT
SHOWN ON SOME VIDEOS THAT WILL STRECH THE FENDER OUT ?
I just purchased one. Which ones would be easier 24s or 22s? Does it still ride good on the 24s
Hey bro, 95 ss impala rear end will fit, and it's shorter. I'm doing it on my 78 caddy
Just get some air shocks and with back raised a lil you should clear
Box Chevy king have some on his Cadillac maybe he can tell you what he had to do for his Cadillac fitting
Factory wheels are wack.
It looks really good
Air ride or ford 9 inch rear end might be better 🤔 PSA fam safety is Job 1
Ive put 9 wide on roadmaster with built-in skirts like bubble caprice. 10 wide u gotta get to cutting.

Gotta shorten the rear end
Factory looks better. Big wheels wack. Tire too skinny. Look like you riding strictly on the white portion.
