- In this video we're back on another demo bike the Specialized Status and giving it a first ride and review. This mullet bike, 29er in the front, 27.5 in the rear, is a great downcountry bike that offers a great feel while riding down the trail. Its 140/140 or 160/160.. there is no 150 in the back. This back was also replaced 3 days ago by the Status 2, just an FYI..
Absolutely no hate, but just as an fyi to anyone watching and considering this bike, it is definitely NOT a down country bike as stated in the video much closer to all mountain/enduro

Yup 160mm mullet is not a downcountry. This bike is an enduro/all mountain bike.

Man, I guess I'm way out of the loop. 160/150 travel mullet is "down country" now? I thought down country was like 130/120 last year.
I was under a similar impression, however the Specialized guys were pretty strong on their claim of this being a downcountry bike so I'll go with what they said 👐
down country is short travel. guy just got his details wrong and is sticking to it.
i thought it was a 120/120 bike!
