Weirdly enough... I think Cell's talent for absolutely dismantling people... came from Goku. We see how Goku can casually dismantle someone with how he is with Freeza ("question: do you know what five minutes is?") and Vegeta ("grr, oh but my pride, I wish I were a carrot"), and we know that Goku is a brilliant tactician. He has Freeza's vocabulary but I feel like the talent came from Goku.
Oh my God... Holy shit you're right! But like to be fair Goku does it 100% unintentionally. Perfect Cell IS doing it intentionally. When Goku and Cell finally meet, guess who gets pissed at the end? Cell.
And that moment is because Goku decided to intentionally enrage Cell so he would provoke Gohan so that Gohan would very easily destroy Cell. The details are perfect.
Goku can actually get under people's skin on purpose when he wants to, it's just the only person he disliked enough to do it to is Freeza. Meanwhile, Cell has no such restraint.
Love the scene where Cell and 16 are interacting because it feels like Cell is channeling a bit of 17 and 18 when talking to him. I could almost hear it in their voice.
After hearing that SIDESHOW BOB was one of the inspirations for Taka’s Perfect Cell voice I now need to see a HFIL episode where Perfect Cell has a nightmare that he is Sideshow Bob and Gohan is Bart! GATHER THE DRAGON BALLS AND MAKE THIS WISH!
The Delivery on Vegeta's "Give me a moment.. all you'll be feeling.. IS OBLIVION!" is actually one of my favorite dialogues in all of Anime.. and it's from a Parody.. they did it better than the original Dub by a mile. I still today rewatch DBZA and when Vegeta drops that line, I get bone chills and replay it about 5 times. Legendary stuff Lani & TFS!
As an amateur VA, I've always admired Lanipator as a voice actor, and while I can appreciate how supportive he is of his fellow castmates, I have to agree that he's always made it look easy. Nick Landis deserves everything he gets as an actor, and I will always aspire to be as appreciative of his coworkers and fans as he is
I always thought Cell's "OH SHIT" was him remembering thinking Tien throwing the KiKoHo at him was "adorable" right before losing 18 and he just decided he needed to not repeat that mistake.
I like to imagine the claim that the Final Flash is the single most strongest blast in the cell arc to be 100% true. Gohan's Kamehameha had the benefit of reflecting Cell's energy back at him, so doesn't count. We know characters in DBZ can fire attacks that are "stronger" than their power level (e.g piccolo against raditz) and Vegeta truly just concentrated his energy into something that can shatter the whole planet 100 times over.
@@lololol924 That. Gohan had to half make a Kamehameha to counter Cell, but Cell gave Vegeta ALL the time he needed to charge up. And as we saw again and again, charging an attack is no joke since you can output FAR more energy than you normally would.
I think Toriyama confirmed that Cell moved at the last second otherwise he would have died. And i think he does say "oh shit" in the uncensored english version of the english dub
I always liked to think that, after dodging the Final Flash, Cell's reaction to it is genuine right up until that second "YOU THINK THIS IS FUNNY!?" That he's still coming down from fear and the shock of his near death experience.
I can not understate how *perfect* (pun absolutely intended) Taka's delivery on pretty much every line is as soon as perfect Cell shows up the "mmmhh, love the ring to that" is so calm like he almost says it to himself, and so confident, I fucking love it so much
It's ironic that Vegeta, for all his Saiyan pride and talk about seeking a challenging fight, just falls to pieces the moment his opponent is stronger than him. Meanwhile, Goku the white sheep of Saiyans loves going up against stronger enemies.
In Totally Not Mark cell arc review, he points out that vegeta wants to see stronger fighters to a way prove that he is the strongest while goku wants stronger fighters as a way to better himself.
Yeah, it seems like Saiyan culture corrupted the Saiyan instinct, changing it from "seek greater power to become stronger" to "seek other powers to prove we're stronger." I know Toriyama hasn't put in anywhere near this level of thought, but I've held a bit of a headcanon belief that the Zenkai boost is a cultural misunderstanding of the Saiyan instinct to find stronger and different powers to grow stronger by adapting to that power, not just simply a power up from almost dying. There's a good few examples, but the simplest are admittedly from Super, and that would be Goku in the ToP, constantly growing in power despite wearing himself out, due to so many different powers around to engage with and innately learn from. Then there's Broly, who seems to be an extreme example of that rapid adaption to other, stronger powers. Edit - and Vegeta going Blue on Cabba and telling him to remember the feeling of that power. It's beyond his body at that point, but he still demonstrates it as something Cabba can reach, ritual be damned! Culturally, Saiyans would only gain their growth from a power they could learn from if they actually survived it, which given they were typically there to commit genocide, it's probably rare they were ever spared. Hence, the misunderstanding of their biology. Still, doubtful Toriyama thought of this, so it's just my headcanon.
Seeing these 3 guys interact together has been such a highlight of my week. I loved when it was just Lani and Kaiser but with Taka in the mix its just so damn entertaining
Freeza’s ability to poetically weave wordplay, along with Vegeta’s love to break his opponent’s spirit before their body, mixed into Cell. That’s where I feel like culminated into Cell’s love to intimately deconstruct his opponent’s minds. 😜
This whole episode can be summed up as Vegeta: "About go fight Perfect Cell, I'll post about it later." Vegeta: "I got my back broken in front of the bald one and the boy! I'M NOT POSTING THAT SHIT!

I really love the friendly banter between these three knuckleheads. If there is something that I love about all of this besides seeing the internal workings of the team, I love seeing them honestly loving each others' performances.
Moving on when they did helped that. When you are with someone all the time you can grow to resent them, that’s how some crews fall out hard. Them backing off and doing their own thing means they never reached that sort of point and it means they are still good friends that collaborate every so often. It’s lovely to see.
I love the synergy between these three. Lani: Like a soon-to-be-broken man once said... Kaiser: "You're either perfect..." Taka: "...or you're not me." Lani: BWAAAA! OW! OW! OW!
important note: having krillen actually cut off cells head would have been a poor decision because the whole final flash scene only works when vegeta doesn't know that cell can regenerate.
I agree, but I like to think the Kienzan DID in fact sever Cell's head. Thanks to his regeneration, however, this prompted an IMMEDIATE "Oh shit, the bald one's not playing around! Gonna have to nope that one in the butt." Healing it before anyone notices, then decommissioning Krillin before he can make a second attempt. Also wanna point out, although I may be wrong, but if it didn't cut through then it would've broke/shattered/dissolved as soon as it hit Cell. Unless it was a video edit from Scott, this disc went STRAIGHT through the neck, out into the distance a ways INTACT, and THEN dissolved. 12:30-12:40 for reference.
@@phillipzeles7986 I thought that was just the Kienzan shattering, the residual energy sort of sliding off of and around Cell's head due to the inertia of it being thrown as it continues forward. It loses its shape instantly and explodes, the Kienzan is supposed to retain its shape through and after hitting its opponent. Look at Frieza getting cut by his own Kienzan for example, it didn't just retain its shape but continued past him and flew away into space. Thems is durable cause they're meant to be, but it completely shattered like ice on the sidewalk when it hit Cell's BEEFY Neck.
I'm pretty sure Vegeta already should have known that Cell had Piccolo's DNA so he could regenerate. He just wanted Cell to not dodge or block his ultimate attack, because he thought hitting him straight on would be enough to kill him.
@Lambent_Omega I agree that the Kienzan, while very powerful, can't cut through _absolutely anything_ like Kaiser suggests. For example, I think Jiren probably could've taken a Kienzan from Krillin head-on. However, Jiren probably would've needed to dodge Frieza's Death Slicer because of how much stronger Frieza is.
I was watching this with a friend, and we realized there was a perfect moment for a joke when you guys were talking about how strong Final Flash was. When Cell regenerated, as Vegeta was still recovering from his shattered ego, Krillin could have spoken up and said “Are we sure he didn’t dodge?” Cell would deny it, then in his head we’d here “He must never know.”
I like how Cell called Krillin a "volunteer" and immediately sent him flying through a mountain, echoing Frieza's line to Trunks at the beginning of the season, "Oh look, we've got a volunteer-teer-teer-teer-deadman."
i like how nick's performance as krillin in this episode largely keeps its kind of loud, over-the-top sort of energy but while also still feeling like earnest emotion, like he is sincerely torn up about 18's death. it comes through without feeling out of place on the comedy own-counter guy. one of my favorite episodes to this day, partially for this reason

Let it be known, the Abridged Final Flash scene is one of the best, coolest in any Dragon Ball media. The tension, the music, the jokes, Lani's delivery, it's all... _perfect._ And the following beatdown of Vegeta's spirit afterwards is brutal, 52 is easily my favourite in Abridged. You guys knocked it out the park with this one.
Sadly, in another one of the commentaries they mentioned that they had to pay to fly Taka out during a very specific time frame or else it would have cost them $1,000 more. It would have been really great to get them all together on a zoom call or something similar, but they would have had to shell out probably several thousand dollars to get the whole cast together.
Having just come from Totally not Mark's first half of the buu ark review, you guys haven't lost your touch, Scott as Sharpner is a great take on a character i overlooked, i love the VA's you got for Goten, Trunks and Videl. I know you mentioned that the voice you wanted for Gohan was Justin Briner but i do like who you got, sorry i don't know who to credit but knowing they have the team four star stamp of approval has me certified their perfect. I love that Amber returns for a great moment with Krillen and 18, Masako is my Goku and brought the biggest smile to my face when he heard Vegeta's party condiment. Cell's reaction to getting hit by Final Flash is one of my favorite tropes: the cocky villain suddenly realizes they're about to get way more than they bargained for.
I think part of what makes it so great is it actually defied expectations and went against a different trope, After his power up we were all expecting it to fall back into the same trope of vegeta being on the receiving end of a one--sided beat down because the villain powered up. The fact that cell actually came so close to getting killed by vegeta because of his ego right after becoming perfect was a great subversion of one trope, The villain being invincible after powering up, a reversal of another one, vegeta almost killing a villain because of their ego, and following a third one, the arrogant villain being too cocky. It was a fun mix of following, subverting and reversing three different tropes all in one scene.
DBZA started as a parody, but TFS certainly knew when to take things seriously. Vegeta's Final Flash scene is absolutely amazing. The line "In mere moments, all you'll be feeling, is oblivion!" is and easy addition to a list of best TFS lines.
27:26 was probably the coolest and most terrifying thing. Hearing Cell’s footsteps as he walks toward Vegeta, right into the barrage and against the blasts, completely unaffected, like when Cooler _flew through_ Goku’s Kamehameha and punched him, just to break through the dust and smoke and get within bitch-slapping distance. It’d be like watching some average Joe appear out of blinding torrential rain just walking against the wind of a category 5 hurricane with ease and casually karate chopping a tree in half. A shocking and disturbing sight and display of power and strength.
@@GreenlandRobot tfs paid homage to the german dub with that one. Cell said without translation "Oh shit!". Hope it now sends you even harder knowing that.

Lani's "All you'll be feeling is oblivion" hits so well with the music. As Taka says, all of you should be absolutely unashamedly proud of this and the previous episodes (In act, ALL of DBZA, but these especially); the writing, editing, music, performances... everything is absolutely nailed. For me this episode is an example of why DBZA has been so successful; it's not 'just' an abridge of DBZ, it's good enough to stand as it's own dub (Which is not a slight on other abridges, more how good DBZA is)
They always do really well whenever Death Battle gets them in on a battle. I love the Xeno Trunks vs Archie Silver the most for this reasoning. Silver is voiced by Bryce, the current VA of Silver, and then Trunks has the DBZA voice. And the lines and interactions between the two are great. Like Silver's "Seriously?! This is what I _do_!!" and Trunks' "This is the end time-locked hedgehog. The end of your future!!" And might I say that any time the fight involves a DBZ character, the background track just _slaps!_ I mean between Hedge of Tomorrow and the banger that is Princes of Pride, no matter win or lose you're gonna have a great time watching and a fight of epic proportions! Now that I think about it...I'd love to see a battle with Piccolo in it. Got no clue who he'd be fighting against, but there's potential with the new Orange form and all the different techniques and abilities he has, between the regeneration and stretching limbs too.
100% it's the reason I watch Lani and Kaiser play Kakarot. Kakarot is by no means an interesting game to watch but the dynamics TFS has makes it so much greater. Lani and Kaiser are my second favourite composition, Lani, Kirran and Grant are still number one.
I just moved out of my parents' house, hours away from them, and watching this commentary really helped me change my mind. You guys are always so funny, thank you for that.
I cant believe Scott was able to hold back that laughter as if he was about to vomit for a second. thats honestly impressive. i wouldnt have been able to hold back my laughter thats for sure
I'd like to point out that Lani being so naturally gifted with his work is THE most fitting thing in the world, especially for this group. Considering that Lani IS TFS's Vegeta, and according to Chris MF'ing Sabbott himself? A legitimate candidate to be the defacto Vegeta if he had to step down from the role. Because Vegeta IS a genius, he is incredibly talented and just as much of a combat savant as Goku, but he had a leg up from day 1. That's why he was so confident and that's why the others had such a hard time beating him. And it's why he was so driven after Goku showed him up because he was used to being on top, and his pride wouldn't leave him alone if he wasn't the best. Whereas Taka and Kaiser, both of whom play saiyans, the ones they play are lower-caste, basically, even Trunks, since he's a half-breed. So they need to work so much harder to achieve the same level of intuitive skill that Vegeta (and Lani) boast.
Firstly, glad you got the job, Nies. Secondly, I am so happy we're finally here for my favorite episode in the entire Abridged series. Gohan's transformation, Perfect Cell showing Vegeta that he really is getting everything that's coming to him, the entire Final Flash segment, which was divine with the music and the lines between all of you (that could have been switched out on the original series and been just as amazing) and then....THE line. I was literally shaking with anticipation as you guys were getting closer to it. Not only a nice callback to Krillin in episode 40, but the absolute, most savage burn in DBZA. Every senzu bean in the franchise that Korin has ever grown couldn't heal Vegeta from the damage that line did.
I always saw Taka's Cell voices as taking a breath in a way. First form is him normal, second form is him panicking but perfect form is him having caught his breath.
29:39 He pulled a Gill from SF3, he had a full super bar when he got hit with the Final Flash and he used Resurrection to get all his health back, so it counts as a perfect finish.
counts for Yoshimitsu in Soul Calibur appearances too, draining opponent's health to refill his still counts as a Perfect Victory. Doesn't matter if you took damage, only if you have 100% HP when you win.
*”IN MERE MOMENTS, ALL YOU’LL BE FEELING, IS OBLIVION!”* is the perfect line, right before (arguably) the best Final Flash, in all Dragon Ball. Lani is so f’ing talented, dude. I would replace the current Vegeta voice actor with Lani, without a single second thought.
I'd actually say Cell's desire to completely destroy people both mentally and physically comes from Vegeta. Freeza didn't really care if he broke you. It was just a momentary amusement. Cell... He very specifically wants the people who even try to stand against him to understand exactly how far beneath him they are. He wants them to know down to their *soul* that he is better than they are. And that's just Vegeta all over.
Oh my god I am in tears in the beginning of this, with all of the praise to each other. Its so wholesome and so sweet. Honestly, even more than writing, or editing, or any of that stuff, I think the reason DBZA worked SO well, is because it was so easy to tell how much you all loved working together, and well you all worked together. The sincerity that all of you put into this project I think is why this show worked so well.
I think you talked about this in the last episode; how pants-shittingly powerful Cell's perfect transformation was. And you did bring up my favourite part of it, which was to have Bulma mention that she could feel it. She can't sense energy, but that was such a display of power that it can just be felt by any non-trained person.

Yep. He got Goku's talent for it with Freeza's sadism making him want to do and enjoy it.
... And then Goku turns that on him later on.
@Bluebedo then add Vageta's urge to taunt anyone.
I was thinking that too. Like absorbing them he also absorbed their affection
“ So are we cool?” was definitely 17 and “Hey don’t lose your head; they were my family too” felt like an 18 line
After Taka confirmed TFS Goku is an anime Homer Simpson, I believe it.
That would be the perfect episode
Oh, so that's why he likes to sing!
We need a scene of him constantly stepping on rakes in a future HFIL episode.

LANI IS THE HYPE!
LANI IS THE LEGEND
Vegeta+therapy=Lani.
oh shit hey cubi
Nick Landis deserves everything he gets as an actor, and I will always aspire to be as appreciative of his coworkers and fans as he is
❤
Lani’s so good it actually took me a few videos before I realized I wasn’t watching Chris Sabat

I always thought Cell's "OH SHIT" was him remembering thinking Tien throwing the KiKoHo at him was "adorable" right before losing 18 and he just decided he needed to not repeat that mistake.
It may actually be a references to the German dub of the final flash scene.
It indeed is 😁
~_~
I always liked to think that, after dodging the Final Flash, Cell's reaction to it is genuine right up until that second "YOU THINK THIS IS FUNNY!?" That he's still coming down from fear and the shock of his near death experience.
True
I love how TFS Cell is just a Dragonball encyclopedia.
Makes sense when he's built from the best fighters.
That's how you know the gohan is in there
He’s got DNA from the galaxy’s strongest weebs.
"How do you know about the parts you weren't there for?"
He's worse. He's the Dragonball Wiki WEAPONIZED.
I can not understate how *perfect* (pun absolutely intended) Taka's delivery on pretty much every line is as soon as perfect Cell shows up
the "mmmhh, love the ring to that" is so calm like he almost says it to himself, and so confident, I fucking love it so much
TFS Perfect Cell is absolutely perfect. Stupid Gohan.
A little piece I love is that once he's perfect, Cell goes back to calling Vegeta "Prince".
Yes! Because until the Sons come out of the Time chamber there's literally nobody that can stop him.
It's a nice touch of mockery that works on multiple levels. Leave to cell to be as efficient as possible when it comes to absolutely wrecking vegeta.
The amazing difference between Taka as a person (Chaotic, bombastic) and Perfect Cell (Reserved and casual), is absolutely mind blowing.
Vegeta wants to win, Goku wants to fight
Yeah, it seems like Saiyan culture corrupted the Saiyan instinct, changing it from "seek greater power to become stronger" to "seek other powers to prove we're stronger."
I know Toriyama hasn't put in anywhere near this level of thought, but I've held a bit of a headcanon belief that the Zenkai boost is a cultural misunderstanding of the Saiyan instinct to find stronger and different powers to grow stronger by adapting to that power, not just simply a power up from almost dying.
@@ShaimingLongThat's a pretty interesting and reasonable head canon.

The video has only been out for 5 mins, you had this prepared
He paralyzed it from the waist down
Nah, he dramatic finished that motherfucker
He broke the button
He all but grabbed Vegeta's wrist and made him press it
Freeza’s ability to poetically weave wordplay, along with Vegeta’s love to break his opponent’s spirit before their body, mixed into Cell. That’s where I feel like culminated into Cell’s love to intimately deconstruct his opponent’s minds. 😜
This whole episode can be summed up as
Vegeta: "About go fight Perfect Cell, I'll post about it later."
Vegeta: "I got my back broken in front of the bald one and the boy!

And their little exchanges are fucking hilarious.
I feel bad for Taka because half of all the great lines he thinks he wrote, he finds out he didn't lol
I love the synergy between these three.
Lani: Like a soon-to-be-broken man once said...
Kaiser: "You're either perfect..."
Taka: "...or you're not me."
Lani: BWAAAA! OW! OW! OW!
important note: having krillen actually cut off cells head would have been a poor decision because the whole final flash scene only works when vegeta doesn't know that cell can regenerate.
I agree, but I like to think the Kienzan DID in fact sever Cell's head. Thanks to his regeneration, however, this prompted an IMMEDIATE "Oh shit, the bald one's not playing around! Gonna have to nope that one in the butt."
Healing it before anyone notices, then decommissioning Krillin before he can make a second attempt.
@@BmanTheChamp pretty sure vegeta doesn't even know piccolo can do that.
3 guys 1 laptop... but in all honesty its great to see an emotionally supportive male friend group. We need more of that.

One of the best dramatic moments in abridged.
22:43 I love the complete difference in energy, the facial expressions. Truly masters of their craft
The body gesture tho they could act and I would love to see them
I was watching this with a friend, and we realized there was a perfect moment for a joke when you guys were talking about how strong Final Flash was.
When Cell regenerated, as Vegeta was still recovering from his shattered ego, Krillin could have spoken up and said “Are we sure he didn’t dodge?”
Cell would deny it, then in his head we’d here “He must never know.”
... S*** that's good.
But then Perfect Cell would have lied.
I like how Cell called Krillin a "volunteer" and immediately sent him flying through a mountain, echoing Frieza's line to Trunks at the beginning of the season, "Oh look, we've got a volunteer-teer-teer-teer-deadman."
I love the in joke of "flip that coin" made it into the series.

I love that with the Final Flash, you took a five minute scene, distilled it down to one-and-a-half minutes, and it was just as epic.
i like how nick's performance as krillin in this episode largely keeps its kind of loud, over-the-top sort of energy but while also still feeling like earnest emotion, like he is sincerely torn up about 18's death. it comes through without feeling out of place on the comedy own-counter guy. one of my favorite episodes to this day, partially for this reason
Yeah feels like an improvement and evolution of the kinda funny but sorta mean, awkward and uncalled for “mount bitch” speech that he had to Bulma on namek
"You guys have always been great at what you do, and the fact that you don't see it hurts ME" is so wholesome, you guys are great and you've done incredible❤
I hope for episode 60 TFS could get the whole cast together for the last episode as a commentary farewell for this masterpiece of a show.
26:25 hey, vegeta’s best moment HAS to be “MY BABY BOY!!!”

Nick, your Vegeta it amazing and i thought nothing could top what's come before, your scream in Vegeta's sacrifice is god tier and thank you soo much to bless us with that version of a spectacular send off.
I know ive made is sound like its been years since you've done anything but you've been keeping you characters alive in the shorts and voice work on your channel ever since the epilogue episode, but god does it feel good to finally see some of the takes you guys wanted for the buu arc, once again thank you for everything ❤️ and Taka please don't mess up the outro on this one 😅
Cell's reaction to getting hit by Final Flash is one of my favorite tropes: the cocky villain suddenly realizes they're about to get way more than they bargained for.
Getting everything they asked for.
Similar to how Frieza went "ohmygod" when he was hit with the Spirit Bomb here.
Biting off more then they could chew

Lani’s Final Flash this episode was legendary
DBZA started as a parody, but TFS certainly knew when to take things seriously. Vegeta's Final Flash scene is absolutely amazing. The line "In mere moments, all you'll be feeling, is oblivion!" is and easy addition to a list of best TFS lines.
And yet it still has comedy in the serious moments too (Cell's "Oh Sh!t" as he's about to get hit) but it doesn't feel out of place with the serious
5:22
you can just feel the love these 3 bros have for each other. Like damn that is touching :’)
I know right
bromance is strong
27:26 was probably the coolest and most terrifying thing. Hearing Cell’s footsteps as he walks toward Vegeta, right into the barrage and against the blasts, completely unaffected, like when Cooler _flew through_ Goku’s Kamehameha and punched him, just to break through the dust and smoke and get within bitch-slapping distance. It’d be like watching some average Joe appear out of blinding torrential rain just walking against the wind of a category 5 hurricane with ease and casually karate chopping a tree in half. A shocking and disturbing sight and display of power and strength.
The two lines I quote the most from this episode:
1. “In mere moments, ALL YOULL BE FEELING IS OBLIVION!!”
2. “Oh how cute he named it OH SHIT!!” 😂😂
You're either perfect or you're NOT me
The delivery of the "oh shit" sends me every time.
@@GreenlandRobot tfs paid homage to the german dub with that one. Cell said without translation "Oh shit!". Hope it now sends you even harder knowing that.

I just love how Taka keeps instinctively calling the comment section Chat! Once you’ve dove into the VTuber hole there truly is no getting out! 😂
The Streamer Brainrot is a powerful curse that has both good and bad side effects
Taka saying "Chat!" at a bar when having a normal conversation and everyone's confused about who he's talking to.

I just say totally not mark's part 1 review for the majin boo saga and I just want to say ... thank you so much tfs! I appreciate everything you did for making those clips for his review. Lani, your sacrifice was the best version ever and I even shed a few tears. It was beyond perfect. It was perfecter! Thank you again! In the words of vegeta ... VEGETA, YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSS! ❤
Taka’s Simpsons references help me understand where he’s coming from on how any situation and character approach was coming along.
For me this episode is an example of why DBZA has been so successful; it's not 'just' an abridge of DBZ, it's good enough to stand as it's own dub (Which is not a slight on other abridges, more how good DBZA is)
I'm glad yall mentioned the death battle, because, yeah, that is THE hardest final flash in existence.
Lani never disappoints
They always do really well whenever Death Battle gets them in on a battle. I love the Xeno Trunks vs Archie Silver the most for this reasoning. Silver is voiced by Bryce, the current VA of Silver, and then Trunks has the DBZA voice. And the lines and interactions between the two are great. Like Silver's "Seriously?! This is what I _do_!!" and Trunks' "This is the end time-locked hedgehog. The end of your future!!"
And might I say that any time the fight involves a DBZ character, the background track just _slaps!_ I mean between Hedge of Tomorrow and the banger that is Princes of Pride, no matter win or lose you're gonna have a great time watching and a fight of epic proportions!
Now that I think about it...I'd love to see a battle with Piccolo in it. Got no clue who he'd be fighting against, but there's potential with the new Orange form and all the different techniques and abilities he has, between the regeneration and stretching limbs too.
The editor's note at the beginning threw me for a loop, I burst out laughing xD
Waiting every week for one of these episodes is like driving 35mph to Disneyland. You know it’s coming, but you can’t make it go any faster
I'm gonna be heartbroken when they wrap it up and we don't have any new ones to look forward to.
That grunt at 24:19 was my favorite part of the final flash when I first saw it. Really emphasized the effort Best Buddy's putting into it.
Lani telling you guys there was no level to get on and that you guys were always great at what you did made me tear up a bit. That was beautiful.
I love that Krillin ALWAYS forgets to use the Kienzan, but used it here without a second thought upon the loss of his baeteen.

Hell yeah! Their chemistry together is just perfect.
"Lani is a bastard man!" lmfaooooo
100% it's the reason I watch Lani and Kaiser play Kakarot. Kakarot is by no means an interesting game to watch but the dynamics TFS has makes it so much greater.
Lani and Kaiser are my second favourite composition, Lani, Kirran and Grant are still number one.
When taka had said the "flip that coin "line it gave me the same energy and chills when he had played Kayaba Akihiko in Sao abridged chills
I also noticed that Taka lapses into Heathcliff as his Perfect Cell performances go on
You know, I'd never thought of Sideshow Bob as sounding like Taka's Cell, but as soon as he said it it just instantly clicked in my head.
I just moved out of my parents' house, hours away from them, and watching this commentary really helped me change my mind. You guys are always so funny, thank you for that.
Allow me to paraphrase what happened to Vegeta here: "Pride cometh before the fall".
The original phrase might work even better for vegeta: 'Pride goeth before destruction.' Because cell absolutely destroyed him
I cant believe Scott was able to hold back that laughter as if he was about to vomit for a second. thats honestly impressive. i wouldnt have been able to hold back my laughter thats for sure
Lani is just Vegeta as a voice actor. The sheet utter confidence of this man.
Lani is such a good Vegeta. This Final Flash and the one he did in the Death Battle with Thor, I put it up there with ANY version of Vegeta.
Eaxh episode just keeps getting better. Hope Taka stays for the entire saga. And MasakoX comes in the final episodes. Four actors together.
The final flash song is by far one of my favorite scenes in this show. The music is just so good, the delivery on Vegeta and Cell is JUST SO GOOD
When Scott takas it at the ending and Lani and Taka get crazy... Great comidic timing.
Big hype for World's Strongest next week.
I always saw Taka's Cell voices as taking a breath in a way. First form is him normal, second form is him panicking but perfect form is him having caught his breath.
If you do "thank you for joining us. on this thing. That we did" I'll actually start crying
29:39 He pulled a Gill from SF3, he had a full super bar when he got hit with the Final Flash and he used Resurrection to get all his health back, so it counts as a perfect finish.
To be fair, in most fighting games if you take ANY damage it doesn't count even block damage. There are a few exceptions though.
counts for Yoshimitsu in Soul Calibur appearances too, draining opponent's health to refill his still counts as a Perfect Victory. Doesn't matter if you took damage, only if you have 100% HP when you win.
It’s nice to see the curse of Taka infecting everyone who must say “That we’re doing!” 😂
It's a line that would totally fit into the real series. It's so badass.
Holy shit the support between these guys is so wholesome
So freaking happy they finally used Vegeta’s Theme in this show!
27:34 LANI DONT DO THAT POSE!!
