I was confronted by your family at a concert in Kansas City in the early 2000's. It was right after 9/11 and I remember the hate spewed at me and my now deceased friend on that evening when we just wanted to enjoy a night on the town. I had never experienced anything like that before and it was terrifying. I tried to maintain a brave face and confront you and the hate I experienced was frightening. I'm so glad to see that many members of your family have come to your senses. No one should have to endure that.
Funny, the people giving the concert wanted to give your people water. They said that on stage. It was a hot summer night, after all.

I have much respect for you, Sir; For your indomitable mind & reason in the face of such agony, an agony I am for many reasons though in very different specific ways also intimately familiar with. One of the differences betwixt our experiences is that I have encountered the same essential hatred & ignorance but from an often entirely non-theistic set of persons & society as a whole. My family is excellent & dearly my friends, but others in my life have been very cruel & barabaric despite outward pretences to enlightenment. Part of the problem of many Atheists & Secularists of that general variety is that many of you come at religion from the perspective of ignorant extremism only, who hold logic & reason in contempt, who live with a hypocritical literalism & emotionalistic hated as the power for their blind faith, neither aknowledging nor considering even in argument that there are ways to logically determine what is indeed absolute & True. I come from a Catholic background that on my mother's side has been atheistic or agnostic for over century, & with a father who in his own lifetime since before we were born moved away from any organized vision of God. Yet, we were not raised to believe that dogmatic atheism was the logical way to approach these matters, because indeed it is not. Blind atheism is as dangerous to reason uncaged as any other such stance which derives from a limited notion of truth & the nature of Existence & the Reality that issues forth from it. Now I know that you do not take such an extreme line yourself, to your great credit, but there are certain shadows of it in some of your stances toward religion. Let me first say this : Due to my career, which begin when my own life did, & entered the public world by my 9th year with my first university level course, in pure mathematics & other more specific pursuits, I came swiftly, utterly on the strength of my own direct logic, observations, & insights, to understand that Existence is necessarily a complete infinity, a sphere of infinite dimensions, & Reality the subjective view & imagination thereof, which is by logical entail coexpansive with that Existence, & that via empirical & general logic combined, it is most rational to understand consciousness as the source for Reality & as a force elementary to all Existence & so inherent in all things imaginary & physical on all levels of abstraction. Thereby, I conclude that there is a God, for what else is the absolute God if not the transcendant Mind of Existence, of which we are all in a sense gods, or minds of & within Mind. My Theory, Totalus Theory, has yet to be upon review by my intellectual & academic colleagues, proven lacking in logical foundations. It is drawn with a geometric-latticine model, & accounts without contradiction for all other views, philosophies, things, & events without placing any but logical rules upon those who would believe in it. It is, like all universal theories, a religion in the most fundamental sense of that word : RE • LIG • ION = AGAIN • UNITE • ING, or a concept that unites all observed reality to its ultimate source in clear terms. In this way, all science is religion, & I would argue that all science is possible only because the mind reaches far beyond mortal confines. To dismiss all notions of religion as poisonous is, with all sincerely due respect, folly & ultimately hypocrisy. I would love to have a discussion with you sometime; It would be grand I am sure, & we would doubtless have much to discuss, much to share in pain & triumph, & much to debate! -Sincerely, Mr Philoreian

I genuinely can't offer an opinion on whatever actual point you were trying to make here because it's completely unintelligible. I sincerely hope, because I am sympathetic to your level of feeling, that you calm down and find a way to communicate your ideas (whether they hold up or not) in such a way that people can understand and engage with you.
