It’s like a nightmare come true - in the best of ways!
The twenty-nine years since someone last lit the Black Flame Candle might have felt like an eternity, but Hocus Pocus 2 has done a fine job of resurrecting our favourite memories from the original film while we watch the seventeenth-century Sanderson sisters run ‘amok, amok, amok, amok, amok, amok, amok, amok, amok’ (that’s nine times, right?)’ in a whole new journey for revenge - and youthful potions! In this resurrection of the story, the only thing more petrifyingly plentiful than Winnie, Mary and Sarah’s antics are the hidden references to the first film. In this video we’ll lift the spell to reveal these hidden gems! There is a magical garden’s worth of charming references to the original film - so many that we’re sure we’ve missed some! I loved the first movie better, but not the sequel. I think they should’ve done better job for the songs, in the sequel.
When Cassie’s dad drives the car to the garage the sisters think it’s the sun just like how they were tricked in the first film. We then hear Mary say “my mistake it’s a small bus” In the first film no one ever told them what a car was called but they did see a bus and were told it’s name. So they came to the conclusion cars are just small busses.
They also screamed in terror when Siri spoke saying it was a small woman trapped in a box. In the first film a radio was used to trick them into being burned so they developed a fear of female voices from small “boxes”

I liked the 1st movie better. The 2nd movie was almost the same as the 1st. It was good but the 1st is always better. Im sad Sarahs witch didn’t get to sing the ‘Come little children’ song again
