- Having wanted to give motorcycle trials a go for years I decided that it was time to head up and visit Inch perfect where they gave Kara & I the opportunity to throw our legs over a brand new 2023 model Electric Motion EM race trials bike.Trials as a sport is all about control, precision and balance and as complete beginners to the motorcycle trials world the guys at Inch perfect provided the perfect place to start our journey. Motor trials is a lot of fun. I did it in the early 1970s when your countryman Mick Andrews was Champion. My favorite bike was my 1975 Ossa Mick Andrews Replica. I made it street legal and had a blast riding trials all over my native New York City. I hope you will have as much fun with motor trials as I did. Now in my seventies, I am into emtb riding. I am saving up for an Inspired Hex to see if I am too old for bicycle trials, or not.

Amazing video. I am 9 and my brother Tom is 6 we ride motorbike trials and mtb it's so cool to see you on a trials bike we cant wait to see some more. Please do a trial competition that would be so cool.

These look amazing Tom I no you have always been keen to get on a trials bike as you no I spent years on them from the age of eight in schoolboy trials had many bikes and always enjoyed it maybe I can teach you a thing or two I would be keen to have a go and see how they compare to a combustion engine everything you do you do well mate make it look easy that’s the key trials legend Dad 👍👍👍

I've been riding motorcycles forever, and that place looks so fun. I've spent about 10 minutes on a moto trials bike one time, but I'd love to spend a day out like this.
Love seeing you fully back from injury/surgery & stepping into new experiences... post leukemia & surgeries myself @ age 50... I've been wanting to step outta Mt Bikes partially and into E-bike as well... Thanks for letting us ride along with you today.

maybe next e build….started building fast bikes…now I’m gearing down the motors for torque and fat tires, slower but more allround usage, like pulling lengths of trees for firewood, pulling mowing decks around the yard….lol. But a trials bike…hmm….I think I could build one…
Those bike look pretty impressive and with only 4kg weight gain (70kg v 66kg) over a ICE Trails Bike and instant power ince used to delivery must be an amazing to ride. Cracking efforts Tom and Kara!!! 👍👍👍

I noticed it had a conventional back brake operated by foot, does that mean the motor also has a clutch, as I noticed the lever on the left bar? I also noticed another shorter black lever above the 'clutch' lever, what was that for?
It does have a clutch and rides just like a combustion engine trials bike!
Reckon one could ride this sat down?

Why does it suck so much? I was really expecting some thing with like instant torque and lots of power. I can just hop through things like a normal bike.
They just haven’t got the power let’s be honest,there ok for pottering about

Either you had it turned down or doesn’t have the power to pull the front wheel up to bounce into the climb. Where is the review of this thing with an experienced rider?
I don't know... I watched some of Sam pilgrims trials moto bike videos I just can't get into it, it's loud, they tear up the trails make them useless for everybody else, same as ATVs. E-moto trials doesn't seem any different, A lot quieter but still allowed compared to MTB. at least MTB has a culture built into it of trying not to screw up the trails, where it seems like moto sports are completely the opposite and nobody can have fun unless they screw up the trails.
