This is a full circle moment for Jamie and Rojas. Rojas for getting back into his rhythm after that traumatic experience in the first ep of season 2 Jaime learning the meaning of teamwork and being selfless. Incredible writing on this show.

Football is life. Every time Danny has said that in this show, its been obvious the sentence had an exclamation point. This one doesn't seem that way. Danny's been through it all this season, and now he simply knows it. Football is life.

That moment when Jaime truly understand the concept of “believe”. Danny has spent a season doubting himself after the death of Earl. Instead of taking the glory for himself Jaime tells Danny I believe in you. So Danny can finally believe in himself again. Such a poignant moment. Well done Jaime.
Nate was a nobody until Ted saw something in him. His descent into madness is an interesting arc. All I know is that Season 3 is gonna be emotional for the character and his relationship with Ted.
I just caught that the brilliance is Jaime remembering the completion he and Danny had in season 1 to hit the posts. That in penalty Danny might be a better scorer bc of his precision from that’s distance
