I had a hard-learned lesson, yesterday. We had a mutated event with the jamboree and the mutation was reflective attacks. I wasn't paying much attention and charged a gulper with my vampire chainsaw. I was dead in an instant. WTF?! I wish things died that quickly when they _attack me_ with my Ricochet perk card active. Had to learn not to attack anything when it had a white shimmering glow around it. Game went a lot smoother once I figured that out and passed that information to team mates. =)

Tbh the main thing that I do is farm the scorch beast queen near the giant brown mushroom cloud because there will always be really high level people there to help and you can get the reward by just shooting just before it dies
@zellodine4708 the (boy) possum scouts at various locations including Dolly Sods. Do a few long-winded quests for them, and you get a larger backpack with the opportunity of modding it for more utility. Look up a guide for the most straightforward way of obtaining it as it can take a couple of hours.

I wish I kept a closer eye out for rare apparel and weapon color variants when I first started. I have definitely scrapped my fare share of colored baseball bats and rare outfits

Honestly when the game dropped i got to level 65 in about a month in a half and it was so fun then i stopped playing with friends and just by myself and was quickly humbled on that i had no real idea what i was doing or how to really play so i dropped it for the last 4-5 years and wrote it off, I recently came back 2 weeks ago and i re fell in love with it and am now level 87 and am learning everyday its so fun once you know what your doing this game just needed time to season.

Thank you for the tip video! I had no idea that modded weapons weighed so much more, or that putting power armor on a chassis made it weigh less in the stash! I started playing about two months ago (I’m brand new to Fallout in general, so I’m still learning new things every day). I just hit level 40 from starting at level 1 and am really enjoying myself so far. I’ve always played single player or co-op games, so I was nervous about playing online with random folks, but everyone is so dang nice, helpful, and generous. I wish I had been playing 76 sooner!

Cook food especially Gulper Slurry from Moonshine Jamboree. It is easy to walk away from Moonshine Jamboree with 60-100 Gulper Intestines (or whatever they are called). If you cook all of them up, you can sell it to any Protectron merchant for 3-6 caps per Gulper Slurry. Not a bad turnover.
I would suggest always diluting your Chems when selling to vendors. You can easily double your potential caps when creating diluted radx Radaway stims and super stims by using the perks chemist and super duper. They also weigh less and are nearly just as effective for day to day use as well.
If you're a new player I recommend not being lazy & instead travel the entire of the Wasteland on foot. Some amazing things to find spontaneously & you immerse yourself in the Fallout universe that way
That is a great one for sure and why I suggest using a weapon with an explosive prefix as the second so you can tag enemies for yourself and teammates. 🤘
Best thing I discovered is that when you use VATS, you can just hold the critical button and keep shooting and it will auto use the crits every single time they build up. It's especially helpful when you use auto weapons with low AP cost, big ol' critfest occurs 😊
@@poptarget You will still have a little occasional jump accidentally, but only when you're in a public event and someone kills your first target as you try to hold the crit button upon entering VATS.

One thing i didnt know was that you could mark the junk items so you see witch contains the materials you need. Knowing you get screws from typewriters, globes and fans made a huge difference :P
One thing id suggest a long with waiting for other players for public events is please don't start the event then leave with just a couple of players around
Make sure that if you get any legendary gear you know you won't use or sell, scrap it at the legendary machines at the train stations, it gives you a currency called scrip that you can use at the rusty pick to buy new legendaries but more importantly you can use it to buy legendary modules to re roll the legendary effects on the guns and armor you like
Craft a syringer with Endangerol ammo, if you shoot a bigger enemy with it, it greatly reduces their armour rating. If you’re in a team and several of you shoot a big enemy, this effect stacks and they can end up with minus armour rating,. Then get out your big guns and kill it quickly.
I would much rather have low levels in there so we can help get them used to the idea of them. I remember my first daily ops taking me 50ish minutes to complete because I had no idea and the difficulty ramp from normal wasteland adventures.
I’ve played a lot of Fallout games and can navigate my way through most of it through trial and error, but the legendary system, cashing in legendaries for scrip at the Rusty Pick was a serious unknown. I only found the place by joining a casual team at lvl 30 who gave me a bunch of loot, but it wasn’t until today when I turned lvl 40 that I discovered how to use the scrip to buy legendary weapons/armor though I suggest investing in the modules especially since they are cheap-ish and you can put the modules into a weapon or armor you genuinely like and not risk getting a 3 star legendary item on a switchblade/crowbar (which happened to me 😂) Also another thing I’m glad I learned early on, if a player drops a bag of loot and shoots at it it means they want you take it, that it’s a gift 😬 And finally for new players, some players like to set their ‘store’ items with absurd prices. Don’t always buy items that are 2000 caps or more just because you want it, chances are you’ll find it a crap-ton cheaper elsewhere. I nearly blew all my precious caps on a straight jacket for 2000 caps, a couple days later I bought it for 10 caps, same thing with a Blood Eagle outfit for 6000, got it for 5 caps. You can’t buy caps for the game really like you can with atoms, so save your caps for when you really need it. I missed out on the animatronic clown item because I didn’t have enough, now I’m forever on the hunt and saving for when I can get the plans.
Those are some great tips and if you are on the PC I can check my mules to see if I have the clown plan for you. I normally don't sell a lot in my vendor unless I buy pails and holiday wrap so I tend to just give stuff away for free. 🤘 My name on pc is the same as here
Every fallout game I've ever played i never used chems just stimpaks so I finally realized I could collect them and sell them. I am now sitting at 6,200 caps and I'm going for the trophy where you have to get 10,000
If you have a daily "scrap junk to create" a material (steel, cloth, etc.), most of these materials can be crafted in "bulk" from your storage. Craft 1 unit, scrap, and return materials to storage to complete the daily. Saves having to scavenge. Also, remember soap is an oil resource and there's plenty in the salon across from Artisans Corner at Whitesprings.
A tip I could share while playing Fallout 76 is not to speedrun the quest that gives us the opportunity to unlock gold. If you skip the Foundation missions at the end, as in my case, you will lose the opportunity to complete quests that give you Chinese armor, which is a mandatory build for a silent assassin.
Except that most people who play stealth don’t use the Chinese stealth suit . It’s mainly used for its in built rad-resist by low health players in nuke zones. It also pops up from time to time for sale for gold if you miss the quest.
Is the end the bunker raid? I'm about to do it but I'm scared what missions I will skip. Should I do all the main missions first? Or just foundation? So scared and I don't want to skip anything I been putting it off for 2 weeks!
@@jennifermichelle7039the raid is the end of the quest line, if you don't want to miss out on anything the best advise is to do both the raiders and foundation quests up until the point then you have to choose who go through the vault with.
I suppose have at least one camp with a decent amount of water to farm purified water, have one near a train station to offload excess weapons and armor or try to find a resource node, such as acid, lead or junk as it helps you out in the long run
you can place water purifiers under water at your camp. there is a lake near the power plant on the right side of the map where you can place your camp module inside a boat and place all your water purifiers under water and raise a platform above water to hold your generators. i have gotten around 400 water from that place in one day for farming glue and flamer fuel.
@@Poke-ladd you can farm glue by making pure water, and adding it to 2 x Mulfruit x2 Corn and x2 Tato. with these combined you get vegetable starch and each vegetable starch can be scrapped in to two glue.
Well I would not recommend removing mods if you found the item with them already because it is very difficult and time consuming to modify weapons. ( you have to learn the mod, have to have perk cards leveled up to make those mods, you have to have the resources as well. ) I recommend never adding a mod unless you plan on using it right away.
That is a good suggestion of not putting a mod on a weapon that is going to sit in your stash box but this is more of a later game tip for if they notice their stash box filling up. 🤘💙
I know that there are items in the wasteland that you can only get once. Maybe through a quest or such. Not knowing that there are a few items, that once you drop , or trade them will be gone, and NO way to get back. For example, the Cave Divng Outfit, or even the Camden Park Uniform. Could you maybe make a video of items thats obtainable once though out the game?
ppl sleep on gathering toys when doing lead rungs. they forget about them so on busy servers its easer to find those locations with a ton of toys laying around.
Hey yall new player here. When he mentions removing mods off of weapons to save storage weight. Does it keep the mod?? It tells me it will destroy them.
The mods wont be in the weapon if you remove them but if you know those mods you can always re apply them back. Though i would suggest only doing this after you are sure you got all the mods or atleast the mods you want from the weapons. Theres a button you can press (predefined as V for pc platform) to check what mods you are missing and how to obtain them
Yeah, it destroys them. If they are good mods keep them on as it is a long road to able to add some of them again. Just don’t add mods to an unmodded weapon that you are saving until you are ready to use it. Also spend the caps on mods kits from vendors and players as you see them , high level players know most mods and kits are not worth much to them. And just store the mod for later use.
Welcome to the wasteland bud and great question. As the two comments have said this is really for mods that you know on the items to save weight if it is just going to sit in your stash box. Over the time of playing you will learn most mods so it won't destroy them at that point. There are items like the scout armor and enclave plasma rifle that you won't want to remove mods just for information in the future.
1* go to settings and turn on "pacifist mode" if don't wana die to players because they will do it and take your items 2* always be cautious of player camps you go into some set traps that can still kill you even in "pacifist mode" and take your items
The great thing I have heard from players is that Pacifist mode is now on by default which is amazing for sure with new players and as the other comment said the perk Light Foot is amazing for not setting off traps but you def. still need to be cautious going into a camp for sure. 💙

name your camp too. i sell compound bows because its a long rep grind to just get the plans and i usually have 2 basic non legendary ones for sale and 2 3* of various effects and *they sell out every time i log in* simply because the name of my camp is *"COMPOUND BOWS FOR SALE"* find a niche and work it, and you will be at max money all the time.
So as far as camp names the player that owns the camp is the only one that can read the name of the camp. That is a great idea though of offering niche stuff in your vendor to make caps 🤘
Working on an endgame build will completely ruin the game, farming scrip and cores is the most mind numbing thing i have ever done, all that to roll a hunters weapon lol

This The weapon for fun is just me I play usong a western revolver (explosive-quad) and is just fun, i call it mysterious magnum and the game recognize the name and capitalize it Explosives, revolver and a plasma flamer is just fun
there is one perk i would say should be used by *every body* at *any given time* in fallout 76 because it feels like its a god-like one - and it only costs 1 point! Srsly, if you run around the wasteland, go get "good doggy" in Endurance. as i said, its only 1 point and totally worth using, reasons why: - 1 point only in Endurance - triples the effect of an food item (30%) which is also a good healing sorce as well WILE said food item is also easy to come by AND *never* rots - Learnable and usable very early on at level 8
@@scottshep8978cola nut needs 2 spare points and isnt really "beginner friendly" to use. its also next to useless if you know how easy it is to get pur. water.
@@scottshep8978 the heal effect is not as good as good doggy and as i said, pef. water is WAY easier to come by since you can literally create them for free at your camp. Said that, per. water is also a "slight" heal and gives you (unskilled) already 25% of your thirst as well. Nuka nut is just a waste of 2 good points you can put elsewhere where you actually "need" them.

dont learn every single gun or armor plan you see or get. especially the player locked one. you will not get them if you dont learn them. so if there is something you dont need like a plasma caster then dont learn it. would also add learn the fixer plan as soon as you can because you wont get that as a drop if you dont learn it either. and its one of the best guns in the game and even if you dont use it its valuable to other players. and can be muled if needed. with every plan you learn you learn you will dilute your drop table (out side of the base items that you dont have to learn) with items that you can not mule and can not sell to other players. so if your stash is full and your scrip for the day is maxed then the only option you have is to destroy the item. unfortunately the devs made a reward for the BOS faction quest being forced to learn a player locked PA set. so if you are not a PA user then you are forced to dilute your drop table with 14 lb a piece or 10 (total) if you can fit them on a frame PA pieces. if you chose to do these quests. personally i have never done them ( on a normal server) because i didnt want to learn that plan.
If you played a drinking game where you drank everytime fargassier says "the wastelands of Appalachia" you would be blackout drunk by the 4 minute mark
Another one, for mutations, don't buy serums later on once you've unlocked the whitespring bunker. hop through servers and camps, higher levelled players may have them on sale for as low as 200caps. Wish I knew this sooner.
I'm playing from the Xbox pc app.. and have been trying to talk to people in voice for awhile but no one talks back.. I used to main on ps5 and had tons and tons of stuff and starting over with nothing at all sucks I have my mic and headset set inside the PC xbox app bit not sure if there is a in game text? Or how to get help with quests or power levels to get up to my bloody build I had on my ps5
Make sure that in settings under audio it isn't set to auto because most are in the "Area" chat. That is where I spend my time in chatting to wastelanders. 🤘
with the rep, there is also the photo daily in the overseer's house from the robot. If you hand it in to either faction, you gain rep from memory. it's been a while since I've done dailies for rep though
How do you bond with your team mates? I'm playing as much as I can with them but I don't see the bond meter increasing. What am I doing wrong? Also, great vid man!
That is strange because the bond should just happen over time. Make sure that you are on a public team because a private team doesn't have the bond or bonuses.
If you are never gonna use it (i.e. an equipment not for your build) scrip, scrap or drop it somewhere someone can find it. Old schoolers leave shit at the White springs rain station (blue suitcase under the skeleton) I drop it in the hallway at the White springs Mall. It will be gone in 10 min no matter what it is. And tip number 2. Gun powder and inert flux weigh a ton. If you're over weight and can't figure out why, that's probably why
Thankfully they moved gun powder to junk and I love that decision. It is a good plan to show some kindness and drop stuff for others that you aren't going to use. I appreciate you bud 🤘

@@Brian-tg8wk Remember that you can change the PA hud so it is easier to see that amount of health. That actually is a good tip of being able to change the hud on the PA. Hopefully they make this something normal that we have in the wasteland 🤘💙
When building a base look for a place with a junk and or lead vein that once can build an extractor on and get some stuff for crafting anything and ammo passively while doing other things

Thanks for watching and being here. Many of the attachments in Fallout 76 have the chance to be learned by scrapping the weapon. So for that you would need to scrap one and then potentially learn the suppressor. 🤘 There are some attachments like the aligned flamer for the enclave rifle/pistol that can only be attached by a mod bought from a player vendor or npc vendor. 🤘
As a returning beta player can someone for the love of God please do every change from prewastelander to present day... They have taken mods out. Weapon pools.. loot drops.. and so much more to do with obtainable items.. As beta player I won't trade anything because I don't know it's value... Is it still junkies and bloodied? -doesn't look like it but who knows😅
There are so many changes from beta to now that would be a rather long long video for sure with a lot of research done. Yeah I'm certain it would be incredibly long. Most of the changes are just what is relevant compared to what's not back in the old days.. For instance drop of legendaries changed so is what still available. Like does pistol and rifleman still stack in 10mm Lots of these old builds aren't relevant anymore and come next patch that will change even more.. Last time I left the nerfed melee but now it seems to be just as good as anyone's build. Idk lots of things changed and I'm still not fully caught up with how things work anymore compared to the good ole days

I wish I knew that you shouldn’t use a mic because monsters can hear you if you are to loud on the mic… I’m still a new player I started playing today actually so correct me if this is wrong but no one else in the game uses mics and this was the only explanation I could think of
There are games where the enemies can hear you but Fallout 76 isn't that way. You might want to make sure to go into settings and change your audio to Area chat because that is where most of us are when we are talking with each other. 🤘
Giving this game a try again after watching the show , browsing new player videos while i wait for my download to finish . Was like most and really disappointed in this game at release and haven’t tried it since . Hoping for the best this time . Show was amazing imo. Very rare these days

Here is one I’m really still learning since I’m a newer player: don’t be afraid to move camps. I get it, you love your spot and love how it looks with all the building you’ve done but maybe you need a resource that another location has or want to be close to a possible event or workshop. Done be afraid to let the old one go and shoot yourself in the foot on a new opportunity!
A couple great tips for new players is that sleep in a bed until it says well rested and you'll get 5% XP boost for an hour. Also playing an instrument gives you 15 ap regen boost. You can check your stat boosts in the pip boy stat tab on effects. Also near the start you wanna try get the AP sprint reduction and boost cards since you'll be doing a fair amount of running.
Those are some great tips for sure and I def. suggest sleeping in a bed and playing an instrument for sure 🤘 That is a good tip about the ap sprint reduction perk cards at the start 🤘
You can't mule Atoms between characters to my knowledge. We were talking about muling items between characters. If you think that is country you should hear the way I say "water" and other things. 😂 I was born and raised in Georgia 🤘
I don't know about you guys but sometime collecting items to build a CAMP is like taking 30 bag of grocery from the car in to the house. Heavy as hell and walking like I am going to poop my pants. I just want to build normal nice camp where we can all party but based on everything seems like it is gonna take me years to build it. Any idea how to speed things up with camp? I always running out of wood and steal even it is everywhere.
So as far as getting supplies I find doing events or even going to areas like Blackwater mine and then collecting the "donated" items from the creatures to take back to scrape while having Scrapper equipped is a great way. That is how I farmed a lot of materials for building. I just got shown the Woodchucker perk card in Luck which will increase your wood gathered when collecting wood so places like the Yellow House in Helvetia is an amazing place to get a lot of wood. We may be carry heavy bags of groceries but we will make in one trip. 🤘 Let me know if you need any help or any other questions bud
Fallout has been my favorite game since I discovered it way back on ps3. I wish I knew that it’s not as intimidating as it seems to play online. I also wish I knew my stash box was “my” stash. Just basic dumb rookie mistakes I would make or things like nukes keeping me from playing. Not realizing their blast radius is small and not the whole map. OH and that you can move your camp. But everyone who plays four seconds will realize all this. I’m just old and need helpful videos like these to keep me fresh 😂
I love these suggestions and I still remember coming across the stash box in the beginning and then wondering who would leave all of that loot there. I then realized it was mine 😂
Little off topic but how come nobody does project paradise? And is colossal problem a rare event? Im level 204 and just seen that event for the first time yesterday.
So most tend to do the queen or titan fight since there isn't an instance limit to the fight and for Project Paradise it is hard to do solo and with two people but I try to do them all the time when I can. Just make sure to go there and stand up so folks can see you there. If you are crouched folks won't know you are there and won't join it if they think they are solo there.
😂When you kill multiple enemies press the R key so one corpse shows you all the loot and not just that one the corpse you’re looking at. Saves loads of time.
Here's one I wish I knew sooner: If you already have a character that's unlocked legendary perks, those legendary perks are unlocked for every other character you have. If you have a level 300 character, new characters can equip all six legendary cards the moment you get your Pip-Boy in the Vault.
If you are playing on a Xbox create a group post so that you can sell legendary items that you don't need for caps in your vendor after you have hit your daily srip limit

From my understanding indirect damage will not be reflected back. Things like grenades and such indirect weapon damage.
I'll give you one worse. Queen Mutated event: Resilient. As long as she's circling and you can't get a melee hit on her, that's going to last a while.
Tbh the main thing that I do is farm the scorch beast queen near the giant brown mushroom cloud because there will always be really high level people there to help and you can get the reward by just shooting just before it dies

@zellodine4708 the (boy) possum scouts at various locations including Dolly Sods. Do a few long-winded quests for them, and you get a larger backpack with the opportunity of modding it for more utility. Look up a guide for the most straightforward way of obtaining it as it can take a couple of hours.

It def. is a hard one not to start when you travel in. I tend to try and not move or if I do back away from the area.

Honestly when the game dropped i got to level 65 in about a month in a half and it was so fun then i stopped playing with friends and just by myself and was quickly humbled on that i had no real idea what i was doing or how to really play so i dropped it for the last 4-5 years and wrote it off, I recently came back 2 weeks ago and i re fell in love with it and am now level 87 and am learning everyday its so fun once you know what your doing this game just needed time to season.

I started playing about two months ago (I’m brand new to Fallout in general, so I’m still learning new things every day). I just hit level 40 from starting at level 1 and am really enjoying myself so far.
I’ve always played single player or co-op games, so I was nervous about playing online with random folks, but everyone is so dang nice, helpful, and generous. I wish I had been playing 76 sooner!

Cook food especially Gulper Slurry from Moonshine Jamboree. It is easy to walk away from Moonshine Jamboree with 60-100 Gulper Intestines (or whatever they are called). If you cook all of them up, you can sell it to any Protectron merchant for 3-6 caps per Gulper Slurry. Not a bad turnover.
It is a great way to make some caps for sure early on 🤘
I would suggest always diluting your Chems when selling to vendors. You can easily double your potential caps when creating diluted radx Radaway stims and super stims by using the perks chemist and super duper. They also weigh less and are nearly just as effective for day to day use as well.
That is a great suggestion as well for players in the wasteland 🤘
Free, fast travel to all of your teammates camps. Especially early on that can save you a massive amount of caps.

You can fast travel to a public event and not do it. If you are going nearby it helps because those public events act as a free travel point.
If you're a new player I recommend not being lazy & instead travel the entire of the Wasteland on foot. Some amazing things to find spontaneously & you immerse yourself in the Fallout universe that way
During events if your guns are not killing its ok.. get a few shots on each enemy and when they die you and your team will still get the xp
That is a great one for sure and why I suggest using a weapon with an explosive prefix as the second so you can tag enemies for yourself and teammates. 🤘

Best thing I discovered is that when you use VATS, you can just hold the critical button and keep shooting and it will auto use the crits every single time they build up. It's especially helpful when you use auto weapons with low AP cost, big ol' critfest occurs 😊

@@poptarget You will still have a little occasional jump accidentally, but only when you're in a public event and someone kills your first target as you try to hold the crit button upon entering VATS.
I have swich the crit Button from X to triangle on PS so that you may jump an crit at the same time.

One thing i didnt know was that you could mark the junk items so you see witch contains the materials you need. Knowing you get screws from typewriters, globes and fans made a huge difference :P

They had this feature in fallout 4. When I discovered this I built a mad base around the santuary.
I just love the fact I found out the children toy blocks all contain lead this way 😂
One thing id suggest a long with waiting for other players for public events is please don't start the event then leave with just a couple of players around

Make sure that if you get any legendary gear you know you won't use or sell, scrap it at the legendary machines at the train stations, it gives you a currency called scrip that you can use at the rusty pick to buy new legendaries but more importantly you can use it to buy legendary modules to re roll the legendary effects on the guns and armor you like

Craft a syringer with Endangerol ammo, if you shoot a bigger enemy with it, it greatly reduces their armour rating. If you’re in a team and several of you shoot a big enemy, this effect stacks and they can end up with minus armour rating,. Then get out your big guns and kill it quickly.
It really will take Earle down pretty hecking fast for sure. 🤘
I personally don't mind low beginners level to join daily ops or expeditions. Huge xp for them when completed.
I would much rather have low levels in there so we can help get them used to the idea of them. I remember my first daily ops taking me 50ish minutes to complete because I had no idea and the difficulty ramp from normal wasteland adventures.
I’ve played a lot of Fallout games and can navigate my way through most of it through trial and error, but the legendary system, cashing in legendaries for scrip at the Rusty Pick was a serious unknown. I only found the place by joining a casual team at lvl 30 who gave me a bunch of loot, but it wasn’t until today when I turned lvl 40 that I discovered how to use the scrip to buy legendary weapons/armor though I suggest investing in the modules especially since they are cheap-ish and you can put the modules into a weapon or armor you genuinely like and not risk getting a 3 star legendary item on a switchblade/crowbar (which happened to me 😂)
Also another thing I’m glad I learned early on, if a player drops a bag of loot and shoots at it it means they want you take it, that it’s a gift 😬
And finally for new players, some players like to set their ‘store’ items with absurd prices. Don’t always buy items that are 2000 caps or more just because you want it, chances are you’ll find it a crap-ton cheaper elsewhere. I nearly blew all my precious caps on a straight jacket for 2000 caps, a couple days later I bought it for 10 caps, same thing with a Blood Eagle outfit for 6000, got it for 5 caps. You can’t buy caps for the game really like you can with atoms, so save your caps for when you really need it. I missed out on the animatronic clown item because I didn’t have enough, now I’m forever on the hunt and saving for when I can get the plans.
Those are some great tips and if you are on the PC I can check my mules to see if I have the clown plan for you. I normally don't sell a lot in my vendor unless I buy pails and holiday wrap so I tend to just give stuff away for free. 🤘 My name on pc is the same as here

Every fallout game I've ever played i never used chems just stimpaks so I finally realized I could collect them and sell them. I am now sitting at 6,200 caps and I'm going for the trophy where you have to get 10,000

If you have a daily "scrap junk to create" a material (steel, cloth, etc.), most of these materials can be crafted in "bulk" from your storage. Craft 1 unit, scrap, and return materials to storage to complete the daily. Saves having to scavenge.
Also, remember soap is an oil resource and there's plenty in the salon across from Artisans Corner at Whitesprings.

A tip I could share while playing Fallout 76 is not to speedrun the quest that gives us the opportunity to unlock gold. If you skip the Foundation missions at the end, as in my case, you will lose the opportunity to complete quests that give you Chinese armor, which is a mandatory build for a silent assassin.
Except that most people who play stealth don’t use the Chinese stealth suit . It’s mainly used for its in built rad-resist by low health players in nuke zones. It also pops up from time to time for sale for gold if you miss the quest.
I think the best thing in that statement is not to rush the story or your time in Fallout 76 because you may miss something. Great advice bud 💙
Is the end the bunker raid? I'm about to do it but I'm scared what missions I will skip. Should I do all the main missions first? Or just foundation? So scared and I don't want to skip anything I been putting it off for 2 weeks!
@@jennifermichelle7039the raid is the end of the quest line, if you don't want to miss out on anything the best advise is to do both the raiders and foundation quests up until the point then you have to choose who go through the vault with.

I suppose have at least one camp with a decent amount of water to farm purified water, have one near a train station to offload excess weapons and armor or try to find a resource node, such as acid, lead or junk as it helps you out in the long run
Having extras around your camp is never a bad thing for sure 🤘
you can place water purifiers under water at your camp. there is a lake near the power plant on the right side of the map where you can place your camp module inside a boat and place all your water purifiers under water and raise a platform above water to hold your generators. i have gotten around 400 water from that place in one day for farming glue and flamer fuel.

@@Poke-ladd you can farm glue by making pure water, and adding it to 2 x Mulfruit x2 Corn and x2 Tato. with these combined you get vegetable starch and each vegetable starch can be scrapped in to two glue.
Well I would not recommend removing mods if you found the item with them already because it is very difficult and time consuming to modify weapons. ( you have to learn the mod, have to have perk cards leveled up to make those mods, you have to have the resources as well. ) I recommend never adding a mod unless you plan on using it right away.
That is a good suggestion of not putting a mod on a weapon that is going to sit in your stash box but this is more of a later game tip for if they notice their stash box filling up. 🤘💙

Not knowing that there are a few items, that once you drop , or trade them will be gone, and NO way to get back. For example, the Cave Divng Outfit, or even the Camden Park Uniform. Hey yall new player here. When he mentions removing mods off of weapons to save storage weight. Does it keep the mod?? It tells me it will destroy them.
The mods wont be in the weapon if you remove them but if you know those mods you can always re apply them back. Though i would suggest only doing this after you are sure you got all the mods or atleast the mods you want from the weapons. Theres a button you can press (predefined as V for pc platform) to check what mods you are missing and how to obtain them
Yeah, it destroys them. If they are good mods keep them on as it is a long road to able to add some of them again. Just don’t add mods to an unmodded weapon that you are saving until you are ready to use it. Also spend the caps on mods kits from vendors and players as you see them , high level players know most mods and kits are not worth much to them. And just store the mod for later use.
Welcome to the wasteland bud and great question. As the two comments have said this is really for mods that you know on the items to save weight if it is just going to sit in your stash box. Over the time of playing you will learn most mods so it won't destroy them at that point. There are items like the scout armor and enclave plasma rifle that you won't want to remove mods just for information in the future.

1* go to settings and turn on "pacifist mode" if don't wana die to players because they will do it and take your items
2* always be cautious of player camps you go into some set traps that can still kill you even in "pacifist mode" and take your items
Use the perk card Lightfooted and crouch in their camp. None of their traps will do damage to you.
The great thing I have heard from players is that Pacifist mode is now on by default which is amazing for sure with new players and as the other comment said the perk Light Foot is amazing for not setting off traps but you def. still need to be cautious going into a camp for sure. 💙
Pacifist mode is indeed On by default, but sometimes entering a Shelter will randomly switch it on, so check on it every so often.
I'm level 95 and never thought to store power armor pieces on chassis in my stash box, thanks bro!

i sell compound bows because its a long rep grind to just get the plans and i usually have 2 basic non legendary ones for sale and 2 3* of various effects and *they sell out every time i log in* simply because the name of my camp is
*"COMPOUND BOWS FOR SALE"*
find a niche and work it, and you will be at max money all the time.
So as far as camp names the player that owns the camp is the only one that can read the name of the camp. That is a great idea though of offering niche stuff in your vendor to make caps 🤘
Pro tip use the multi camp function and swap between them and get a free tele to the other side of the map +50 caps saved

I play usong a western revolver (explosive-quad) and is just fun, i call it mysterious magnum and the game recognize the name and capitalize it

there is one perk i would say should be used by *every body* at *any given time* in fallout 76 because it feels like its a god-like one - and it only costs 1 point!
Srsly, if you run around the wasteland, go get "good doggy" in Endurance. as i said, its only 1 point and totally worth using, reasons why:
- 1 point only in Endurance
- triples the effect of an food item (30%) which is also a good healing sorce as well WILE said food item is also easy to come by AND *never* rots
- Learnable and usable very early on at level 8
I will say as a new player having good dog perk is a great one to have especially if you are running low on food and health items 🤘

@@scottshep8978 the heal effect is not as good as good doggy and as i said, pef. water is WAY easier to come by since you can literally create them for free at your camp. Said that, per. water is also a "slight" heal and gives you (unskilled) already 25% of your thirst as well. Nuka nut is just a waste of 2 good points you can put elsewhere where you actually "need" them.

We don't talk about exploits or allow them to be discussed on this channel. Please refrain from bringing anything like that up in the future.
dont learn every single gun or armor plan you see or get. especially the player locked one. you will not get them if you dont learn them. so if there is something you dont need like a plasma caster then dont learn it.
would also add learn the fixer plan as soon as you can because you wont get that as a drop if you dont learn it either. and its one of the best guns in the game and even if you dont use it its valuable to other players. and can be muled if needed.
with every plan you learn you learn you will dilute your drop table (out side of the base items that you dont have to learn) with items that you can not mule and can not sell to other players. so if your stash is full and your scrip for the day is maxed then the only option you have is to destroy the item.
unfortunately the devs made a reward for the BOS faction quest being forced to learn a player locked PA set. so if you are not a PA user then you are forced to dilute your drop table with 14 lb a piece or 10 (total) if you can fit them on a frame PA pieces. if you chose to do these quests. personally i have never done them ( on a normal server) because i didnt want to learn that plan.
Not diluting your loot pool is a great suggestion for sure 💙

Another one, for mutations, don't buy serums later on once you've unlocked the whitespring bunker. hop through servers and camps, higher levelled players may have them on sale for as low as 200caps. Wish I knew this sooner.

I'm playing from the Xbox pc app.. and have been trying to talk to people in voice for awhile but no one talks back.. I used to main on ps5 and had tons and tons of stuff and starting over with nothing at all sucks I have my mic and headset set inside the PC xbox app bit not sure if there is a in game text? Or how to get help with quests or power levels to get up to my bloody build I had on my ps5
Make sure that in settings under audio it isn't set to auto because most are in the "Area" chat. That is where I spend my time in chatting to wastelanders. 🤘
with the rep, there is also the photo daily in the overseer's house from the robot. If you hand it in to either faction, you gain rep from memory. it's been a while since I've done dailies for rep though

That is strange because the bond should just happen over time. Make sure that you are on a public team because a private team doesn't have the bond or bonuses.

If you are never gonna use it (i.e. an equipment not for your build) scrip, scrap or drop it somewhere someone can find it. Old schoolers leave shit at the White springs rain station (blue suitcase under the skeleton) I drop it in the hallway at the White springs Mall. It will be gone in 10 min no matter what it is. And tip number 2. Gun powder and inert flux weigh a ton. If you're over weight and can't figure out why, that's probably why
Thankfully they moved gun powder to junk and I love that decision. It is a good plan to show some kindness and drop stuff for others that you aren't going to use. I appreciate you bud 🤘

Here's a fallout jacuzzi tip: always equip the fallout birthday suit while soaking in the Jacuzzi. That way you are soaking in your birthday suit.

If you are not high enough in level then you can't get into a power armor chassis with items that are higher than your level. 🤘

Thanks for watching and being here. Many of the attachments in Fallout 76 have the chance to be learned by scrapping the weapon. So for that you would need to scrap one and then potentially learn the suppressor. 🤘 There are some attachments like the aligned flamer for the enclave rifle/pistol that can only be attached by a mod bought from a player vendor or npc vendor. 🤘
As a returning beta player can someone for the love of God please do every change from prewastelander to present day...
They have taken mods out. Weapon pools.. loot drops.. and so much more to do with obtainable items..
As beta player I won't trade anything because I don't know it's value...

There are so many changes from beta to now that would be a rather long long video for sure with a lot of research done. Yeah I'm certain it would be incredibly long.
Most of the changes are just what is relevant compared to what's not back in the old days..
For instance drop of legendaries changed so is what still available.
Like does pistol and rifleman still stack in 10mm
Lots of these old builds aren't relevant anymore and come next patch that will change even more..
Last time I left the nerfed melee but now it seems to be just as good as anyone's build.
Idk lots of things changed and I'm still not fully caught up with how things work anymore compared to the good ole days

I wish I knew that you shouldn’t use a mic because monsters can hear you if you are to loud on the mic… I’m still a new player I started playing today actually so correct me if this is wrong but no one else in the game uses mics and this was the only explanation I could think of
There are games where the enemies can hear you but Fallout 76 isn't that way. You might want to make sure to go into settings and change your audio to Area chat because that is where most of us are when we are talking with each other. 🤘

Is there a way to lock your camps in one spot so you dont accidently move the wrong camp?
I wish there was a way to lock camps because I have moved the wrong camp by accident a few times as well. 🤘
Giving this game a try again after watching the show , browsing new player videos while i wait for my download to finish . Was like most and really disappointed in this game at release and haven’t tried it since . Hoping for the best this time . Show was amazing imo. Very rare these days

Here is one I’m really still learning since I’m a newer player: don’t be afraid to move camps.
I get it, you love your spot and love how it looks with all the building you’ve done but maybe you need a resource that another location has or want to be close to a possible event or workshop. Done be afraid to let the old one go and shoot yourself in the foot on a new opportunity!
Moving camps is a great way to explore for sure. I love having a mobile camp to setup on the move 🤘

The Enclave Rifle/Pistol is the one that you can't take mods off of (or don't really want too cause you can't mod them yourself yet)

A couple great tips for new players is that sleep in a bed until it says well rested and you'll get 5% XP boost for an hour.
Also playing an instrument gives you 15 ap regen boost.
You can check your stat boosts in the pip boy stat tab on effects.
Also near the start you wanna try get the AP sprint reduction and boost cards since you'll be doing a fair amount of running.
Those are some great tips for sure and I def. suggest sleeping in a bed and playing an instrument for sure 🤘 That is a good tip about the ap sprint reduction perk cards at the start 🤘

You can't mule Atoms between characters to my knowledge. We were talking about muling items between characters. If you think that is country you should hear the way I say "water" and other things. 😂 I was born and raised in Georgia 🤘

I don't know about you guys but sometime collecting items to build a CAMP is like taking 30 bag of grocery from the car in to the house. Heavy as hell and walking like I am going to poop my pants. I just want to build normal nice camp where we can all party but based on everything seems like it is gonna take me years to build it. Any idea how to speed things up with camp? I always running out of wood and steal even it is everywhere.
So as far as getting supplies I find doing events or even going to areas like Blackwater mine and then collecting the "donated" items from the creatures to take back to scrape while having Scrapper equipped is a great way. That is how I farmed a lot of materials for building. I just got shown the Woodchucker perk card in Luck which will increase your wood gathered when collecting wood so places like the Yellow House in Helvetia is an amazing place to get a lot of wood. We may be carry heavy bags of groceries but we will make in one trip. 🤘 Let me know if you need any help or any other questions bud

Fallout has been my favorite game since I discovered it way back on ps3. I wish I knew that it’s not as intimidating as it seems to play online. I also wish I knew my stash box was “my” stash. Just basic dumb rookie mistakes I would make or things like nukes keeping me from playing. Not realizing their blast radius is small and not the whole map. OH and that you can move your camp. But everyone who plays four seconds will realize all this. I’m just old and need helpful videos like these to keep me fresh 😂
I love these suggestions and I still remember coming across the stash box in the beginning and then wondering who would leave all of that loot there. I then realized it was mine 😂
Little off topic but how come nobody does project paradise? And is colossal problem a rare event? Im level 204 and just seen that event for the first time yesterday.
So most tend to do the queen or titan fight since there isn't an instance limit to the fight and for Project Paradise it is hard to do solo and with two people but I try to do them all the time when I can. Just make sure to go there and stand up so folks can see you there. If you are crouched folks won't know you are there and won't join it if they think they are solo there.
😂When you kill multiple enemies press the R key so one corpse shows you all the loot and not just that one the corpse you’re looking at. Saves loads of time.
The loot all feature is something that I am so happy that they put into the game 🤘
Here's one I wish I knew sooner: If you already have a character that's unlocked legendary perks, those legendary perks are unlocked for every other character you have. If you have a level 300 character, new characters can equip all six legendary cards the moment you get your Pip-Boy in the Vault.
That is an amazing thing for sure that a lot don't know. Good tip bud 🤘
If you are playing on a Xbox create a group post so that you can sell legendary items that you don't need for caps in your vendor after you have hit your daily srip limit
