That is a great reminder as well about why a higher level player joins your team or fast travels to you. We most likely just want to give you something.
Maybe the low lvl who run away or dont take the free stuff are second, third etc Chars of high level Players who already transferred enough to this new char, so that you can bette use your stuff for someone who really needs it.
High Intelligence helps to level up faster. I recommend at lvl 50 to try and raise it as best you can. I have 5 builds, and have max intel on all of them.
Question for you Sir. Have you ever done Public Event Breakdown Videos? I have seen folks all over suggest fresh vaulties give them a shot. But I would feel much more prepared if I had even a basic intro to them. Before blundering around with no info at all.
Two big events I always recommend for beginners is Feed the People and Moonshine Jamboree. Feed the People is incredibly easy, and awards you with a guaranteed 5-pack of Canned Meat Stew, an EXP Buff, regardless of event perfection. Moonshine Jamboree is a bit trickier, but doable. Always make sure there's a crowd. The event awards you with Mire Magic Moonshine, which is a FANTASTIC carry weight booster.
I make low level Leg-yz for my friends to help them when leveling to 50 usually a furious explosive 3* and give then a bunch of canned meat stew only catch is when you no longer need the weapon you drop it back to me.
I had like 2000 screws on me from a higher level once and didn't know the junk could disappear when you die so I was so confused when I had no junk and got so mad.
@@Fargassier yeah I quit playing that character after that, but I got to level 50 so I had a legendary perk and now I'm level 80 on my shotgunner 🤷 we up
@@potatoman7594 yep. After a bit, you realise the best tactic is to clean out the vendors every day by selling the junk you don't need much of, and then just buy the less common junk you do need. Junk is easy enough to come by, for the most part, but it can be a faff fast-travelling and server-hopping to get what you need.
Just got the game on Steam during the current sale. Old veteran of all the Fallout games here but never played 76. So far i like it but it is very different from the regular games
Look around for higher level players who are going after the boss, and kill the little minions that are attacking him from behind. Healing downed players will help forge friendships and make you welcome on teams. I wish I would have joined teams much sooner than I did. And, don't take it personal when people leave teams or you get bumped off of one. We all learn to eventually bounce around with ease. Anyone can join my team if I'm leading. Makes things interesting. I played the first month 76 came out, and a higher level guy followed me around meleeing me for like 1 heath until i died, and i haven't played since. Couldn't fast travel away.
To be out of public team to get rewards from the course speak queen the game is normalized meaning that one Camale or one weight lander is in effect if you go to the queen event if you’re standing in the event area, you will get event rewards, regardless any legendary that dies in the area will be liable by you except the queen you will have to actually do damage to the queen to her, but the damage is not significant And being that she is somewhat normalized to you is not that hard to do damage significant enough to get looting right in any case without doing anything except hiding on top of a tent crouch, trying to stay out of the line of fire will get you event awards, which are the best for awards of the event. You will get things that you’re going to need later on in the game that mod and and Other rest recipe that you can use in the game as well you don’t have to be on a public team to do that you’re probably just going to be dead lacking any amount of damage mitigation because even with normal life damage even when you are scaled, you’re still gonna die to everything if you go there is a low level
Well being on a public team nets you at least half of the XP from your teammates taking out the enemies even if you don't tag them. That is why I suggest being on a public team.
Play that necessary to create or be part of a public game to play the game in fact for new users will wonder is a better choice. Do the damage mitigation that it gives you

Yeah, the actual physics of power armor weight just doesn’t make sense so your power armor might end up weighing not if you literally hundred pounds easily I mean those power pieces some of our heavy yet you stick it on a chassis and it weighs only 10 pounds even if let’s say the chassis is absorbing through its exoskeleton you know structure caring the weight of it for you putting more pieces on should also increase the weight of it. It doesn’t make sense except that Cassie are just another storage container as far as programming goes, which is why it works that way, but it still doesn’t make any sense physically.
Thankfully it is a video game and it doesn't have to make sense but I like that taking all of the pa pieces and putting them on a chassis will save a lot of weight.
Animated perk cards mean nothing and they have unless they’ve changed it. They have the horrible distinction that you can’t combine them with animated card so in order to get a three star card upgraded you have to get free animated cop I could be wrong but they might be worth more pointswhen you’re scrapping them for points but other than that, they’re just a fancier card as far as I know

As a new player, you should not be scrapping any cards at some point or another and the way the game is designed now you can literally play on one character with different loadouts your character whenever you want to play as a straight face character, perception based character and agility based character, you can do whatever you want that one character, but you have to have to park Jewel eventually get to the point where you have a card set with the one and three so you can use it in any situation that might come up and anything after that you scrap trust me when you’re trying to build and you got room for two point card, but your card is upgraded to three-pointor you need a two point card and you have two cards but your scrap one and you’re just fucked and you’re waiting. Don’t get her report cards points are important to you yet.
Work doing other players are going to join it because some events can be completed with one player one well equipped player kind of complete most of the events on a map
so i'm a beginner and i've tried the power armour tip and can't get it to pick up with armour on chassis. Is a perk needed or am i messing something up?
Depends what level you are and what level the item of the armor is, on power armor chassis throughout the world, it can vary widely, but if it drops from a monster, it will be at your level, my advice, toss the pieces in your stash and level up to wear them. Also, no need to get two of the same type of generic ( no star gear ).
As Box said check the level when you are trying to interact with the power armor chassis and pieces of armor on there. You may need to remove the pieces of armor to be able to enter the chassis.
If anybody every sees me Equinox in the wasteland I'm seeking marsupial serum, healing factor serum, and the fixer blueprint lol. I found a player shop selling the serums yesterday but before I could click buy they logged out and their base disappeared 😅
They just put a new weapon in the season recently that does nothing but blind everybody that every event and is not the first time there have been others that are totally obnoxiously blinding like that canon I can’t pick what it’s called the one that explodes with the red white and blue all over the white it’s really actually a pretty good launcheryeah you know fireworks go off every time you fire the damn thing don’t let that stop you
That is the reason I would like to have a setting to limit the explosions because if they keep adding those types of weapons in which I have no problem with, we need a setting to turn off or limit the explosions so players can see.
Honestly, this many starter unwritten rules kinda put newer players off, I started playing but I feel like I'm going to break these type of rules without even knowing it it's a shame but this is what makes us newer players feel less welcomed for fear of upsetting veterans
It isn't meant to put off new players but to give advice so that new players can learn from our previous mistakes. The public camp icon was 500 hours in the game before I learned that. If you break the rules it is no problem but like I said it is just information to help. Trust me when I say this, folks in this game love having all of the new players.
@Fargassier fully understood, that is why I am here, to lear this kind of thing, I'm still enjoying playing this, I never picked it up on release, and I am really having a good time. Just sometimes, you find out there are so many beginners traps that we could fall into and end up on the wrong side of less patient veterans moods. I do rad rumble for a chance at the rewards… I don’t care about my xp, definitely don’t care about the xp of anyone else perched up not protecting the miners or gathering the ore
Well some players aren't going to be able to really help out but higher levels usually have the spare materials to help or at least point you in the right direction.
These are great tipps, but as a low level that got these free stuff, i have to say please dont give so much stuff. It takes away from the survival aspect what kills the game so early on, as a new player fresh from leaving vault, you are so excited to explore and gather. Now i am almost level 900 and i only give a few items. Maybe 5 Stims and 5 Rad X, maybe a little ammo. I met many other players who had the same experience. Great TIps Overall!
Someone gave me 9000 shotgun ammo. Now I don't worry about picking ammo anymore. I would say I am happy about it. Before level 50 and it helps me a lot with events.
Yeah it is always nice to limit what we are giving the new players because I am right there with you on that one of not wanting to ruin the start of survivability. 🤘
Can't say I agree. I stopped playing because I was literally out of ammo and out of caps - like, bingo. Couldn't fast travel anymore, and the only decent way to get more ammo is fighting, which really is not fun in melee.. so I just stopped playing.
Dude, red rumble is in about XP. Certainly people do it Prax me but now you know user they don’t have a game really tagging everything in there getting XP do users should be there. Rumble is about killing the legendary creatures no more or gather the higher escalator, the fast, three of kill shit the more chance you’re gonna get legendary death laws and other shit coming up and they don’t even spawn in the hallway. They spun all the way down in the high radiation area, and I will lie sometimes I just stand down there and kill them as they spawn don’t belong radiation rumble they don’t have the gear for it. They don’t have the web for it even though they tried to make it into the quest line level your character above level 50 that you can start crafting or trying to collect the legendary follow. You don’t really need legendary that’s fairly play this game at all Bad it doesn’t help immensely there’s a huge difference between veterans players and new players as the one they can accomplish but you can do all these events without any legendary gear at all but you really should level up so I will 50 before you’re doing these, otherwise you’re going to be getting shit at lower level like conviction notice there’s like absolutely not a lot of point and you’re going to eviction notice unless it is only for the experience But you’re going to spend the whole event that really because it’s very high level doing the quest line it’s going to take up enough of your time for at least several months and it’s going to level you all the way to 50 not to mention giving you all kinds of plans and you’re gonna get sad, you’re gonna get the plans for power armor that just by doing the quest linethis is not a Korean MMO where you go out and you just level your character to 55 before I’m saying you shouldn’t do it. There are numerous reasons to follow the quest line and the quest.
Like I said remember it isn't just you at the event and it is best to show respect to other players. In Radiation Rumble it is best to have someone get the ore so the event can level up and then stand in the middle to allow everyone the chance to tag enemies.
I use photos that I take in 76 or the video game that I am playing. I use Photoshop for my stuff but there are some great free programs like www.photopea.com/ which is a lot like photoshop.
Call Aaron course and treasury notes are going to be important later again new players not gonna be crafting legendary armor. You shouldn’t start crafting legendary anything tell you head level 50. I’m not sure what your class as a new player but coming out of involved and tell you at level 50 you should not be spending any of your resources crafting anything there’s no point because you’re going to level that item very quickly.
As I said in the video players shouldn't worry about crafting legendary gear until after they hit level 50 and to just pick up everything off of the ground or enemy until then. 🤘
That happened to me last night joining a random team and the level 20s kicked me and then I explained to them what the benefit of having others on a team can be. 🤘
Going past the turrents diesnt effect spawns , when i go to the (T or the +) in the room , im just shooting the enemies before they run into the main room , i use berry mentats ALOT you can see yhe enemies spawn even when everyone is in the main room , most players crouching at events are playing with 2 consoles , overall there is alot of bad info in this video.
I see a lot of players crouch at events that are on one character at a time and I had to explain to someone why no one showed up to an event that they were at cause they were crouched down and hidden on the map. You and I can have different opinions but that is a good thing. I don't think anyone should be in the hallways during Radiation Rumble.
Again, the players do not have the capability the gear or the capability of even being at eviction notice your players do not have that radiation reduction gear to survive at that event and well you can just keep responding. That’s going to get tired so every time the radiation goes out you’re going to die. Don’t go to that event unless you have a rant toor power armor, I’ll come out of power armor
The worst thing that happens when the rad scrubber goes out and you don't have the rad protection is that you die. You then will respawn at the top of the hill. I will never suggest a player not go to an event that doesn't have the gear for it because it is a great event to get settler reputation, junk, ammo, legendary items, and so much more.
Grenadier and Demo expert also work on the explosive legendary effect on ballistics as well as gauss weapons, this would make it easier for everyone to tag at events. 🤘
It’s a wasteland I’ll post to Michael of big wasteland. It’s a role-play game and nobody in opposed to five with big white flag gets to shit about anybody else in real life. If you had a bunch of mini new and launcher, you would kill everybody else that showed up and take salute for yourself, that literally role-play if you were actually role-playing, it’s better just being a sweaty try hard
It's okay to use any weapons yourself. Just don't make big explosion at close quarters indoors events like Uranium Fever, because it ruins it for the other players. ( ᐢ (oo) ᐢ )
All my ballistic weapons are explosive....vampire explosive. I can be right on top of a bad guy blasting away, and the vamp effect keeps my health up. I never feel the blast backlash. BUT it does wreck havoc on my armor.
He's not referring to the explosive legendary mod. The effect on most of these is really kind of small and not a problem. He's referring to actual exploding ammo like rockets, grenades and especially mini nukes. These can become a problem, especially in enclosed areas, because the effects can fill your screen, making it hard to target enemies. Not to mention that it's hella annoying for everyone who's not lobbing explosives all over the place.

Make sure that you are setup under a non-automatic weapon because you will net more ammo than you use generally. Also, make sure to join expedition and daily op teams because those are great ways to earn ammo with contextual ammo.

Fallout 3 is where I was first introduced to the series and fell in love with it. I am actually going back to play Fallout 1 and 2 for the first time very soon.

Why would I turn off screen shake? I love that effect. You know you are becoming a try hard when you dont use fun parts of the game because they are not META...
While screen shake may be fun to you to have on I don't like it for mine. I say use what you like too but I also turn off motion blur and such as well.

If I'm gifting items to a low level player I start with a wave and then a heart icon before dropping the items. I like to show I'm friendly 😄

I joined the scorch Beast Queen event at level 11 and was just fine. Got plenty of rewards too!

For people fresh out of the vault, modify your leather armor to be boiled. All it does is make it stronger at little cost to you

You haven't seen the video or tried to level up an animated perk card lately have you because you can combine animated and non-animated cards now.
But changing to the default mod costs screws and other mats?
Later down the road you won't miss the mats but you will love the weight saved 🤘

Depends what level you are and what level the item of the armor is, on power armor chassis throughout the world, it can vary widely, but if it drops from a monster, it will be at your level, my advice, toss the pieces in your stash and level up to wear them. Also, no need to get two of the same type of generic ( no star gear ).
As Box said check the level when you are trying to interact with the power armor chassis and pieces of armor on there. You may need to remove the pieces of armor to be able to enter the chassis.

How do you use proximity chat on pc?
For me the default key is caps lock and make sure that your voice chat is set to area and not auto 🤘
They just put a new weapon in the season recently that does nothing but blind everybody that every event and is not the first time there have been others that are totally obnoxiously blinding like that canon I can’t pick what it’s called the one that explodes with the red white and blue all over the white it’s really actually a pretty good launcheryeah you know fireworks go off every time you fire the damn thing don’t let that stop you
That is the reason I would like to have a setting to limit the explosions because if they keep adding those types of weapons in which I have no problem with, we need a setting to turn off or limit the explosions so players can see.

Honestly, this many starter unwritten rules kinda put newer players off, I started playing but I feel like I'm going to break these type of rules without even knowing it it's a shame but this is what makes us newer players feel less welcomed for fear of upsetting veterans
It isn't meant to put off new players but to give advice so that new players can learn from our previous mistakes. The public camp icon was 500 hours in the game before I learned that. If you break the rules it is no problem but like I said it is just information to help. Trust me when I say this, folks in this game love having all of the new players.
@Fargassier fully understood, that is why I am here, to lear this kind of thing, I'm still enjoying playing this, I never picked it up on release, and I am really having a good time. Just sometimes, you find out there are so many beginners traps that we could fall into and end up on the wrong side of less patient veterans moods. Thankfully I did a bit of research before diving in, it's honestly impressive so far.

I do rad rumble for a chance at the rewards… I don’t care about my xp, definitely don’t care about the xp of anyone else perched up not protecting the miners or gathering the ore
As I suggest the ore should be gathered so that players can get their chance at the great rewards from the event 🤘
My biggest mistake, teaming up with a level 85 who can't craft me anything at level 6 lol
Well some players aren't going to be able to really help out but higher levels usually have the spare materials to help or at least point you in the right direction.
These are great tipps, but as a low level that got these free stuff, i have to say please dont give so much stuff. It takes away from the survival aspect what kills the game so early on, as a new player fresh from leaving vault, you are so excited to explore and gather. Now i am almost level 900 and i only give a few items. Maybe 5 Stims and 5 Rad X, maybe a little ammo. I met many other players who had the same experience. Great TIps Overall!
Someone gave me 9000 shotgun ammo. Now I don't worry about picking ammo anymore. I would say I am happy about it. Before level 50 and it helps me a lot with events.

Can't say I agree. I stopped playing because I was literally out of ammo and out of caps - like, bingo. Couldn't fast travel anymore, and the only decent way to get more ammo is fighting, which really is not fun in melee.. so I just stopped playing.
Dude, red rumble is in about XP. Certainly people do it Prax me but now you know user they don’t have a game really tagging everything in there getting XP do users should be there. Rumble is about killing the legendary creatures no more or gather the higher escalator, the fast, three of kill shit the more chance you’re gonna get legendary death laws and other shit coming up and they don’t even spawn in the hallway. They spun all the way down in the high radiation area, and I will lie sometimes I just stand down there and kill them as they spawn don’t belong radiation rumble they don’t have the gear for it. They don’t have the web for it even though they tried to make it into the quest line level your character above level 50 that you can start crafting or trying to collect the legendary follow. You don’t really need legendary that’s fairly play this game at all Bad it doesn’t help immensely there’s a huge difference between veterans players and new players as the one they can accomplish but you can do all these events without any legendary gear at all but you really should level up so I will 50 before you’re doing these, otherwise you’re going to be getting shit at lower level like conviction notice there’s like absolutely not a lot of point and you’re going to eviction notice unless it is only for the experience But you’re going to spend the whole event that really because it’s very high level doing the quest line it’s going to take up enough of your time for at least several months and it’s going to level you all the way to 50 not to mention giving you all kinds of plans and you’re gonna get sad, you’re gonna get the plans for power armor that just by doing the quest linethis is not a Korean MMO where you go out and you just level your character to 55 before I’m saying you shouldn’t do it. There are numerous reasons to follow the quest line and the quest.
Like I said remember it isn't just you at the event and it is best to show respect to other players. In Radiation Rumble it is best to have someone get the ore so the event can level up and then stand in the middle to allow everyone the chance to tag enemies.

I use photos that I take in 76 or the video game that I am playing. I use Photoshop for my stuff but there are some great free programs like www.photopea.com/ which is a lot like photoshop.
Call Aaron course and treasury notes are going to be important later again new players not gonna be crafting legendary armor. You shouldn’t start crafting legendary anything tell you head level 50. I’m not sure what your class as a new player but coming out of involved and tell you at level 50 you should not be spending any of your resources crafting anything there’s no point because you’re going to level that item very quickly.
As I said in the video players shouldn't worry about crafting legendary gear until after they hit level 50 and to just pick up everything off of the ground or enemy until then. 🤘
dude ive seen an uptick in new players creating a public team to play with their friends and then kicking any who join.......
That happened to me last night joining a random team and the level 20s kicked me and then I explained to them what the benefit of having others on a team can be. 🤘

Going past the turrents diesnt effect spawns , when i go to the (T or the +) in the room , im just shooting the enemies before they run into the main room , i use berry mentats ALOT you can see yhe enemies spawn even when everyone is in the main room , most players crouching at events are playing with 2 consoles , overall there is alot of bad info in this video.
I see a lot of players crouch at events that are on one character at a time and I had to explain to someone why no one showed up to an event that they were at cause they were crouched down and hidden on the map. You and I can have different opinions but that is a good thing. I don't think anyone should be in the hallways during Radiation Rumble.

Again, the players do not have the capability the gear or the capability of even being at eviction notice your players do not have that radiation reduction gear to survive at that event and well you can just keep responding. That’s going to get tired so every time the radiation goes out you’re going to die. Don’t go to that event unless you have a rant toor power armor, I’ll come out of power armor
The worst thing that happens when the rad scrubber goes out and you don't have the rad protection is that you die. You then will respawn at the top of the hill. I will never suggest a player not go to an event that doesn't have the gear for it because it is a great event to get settler reputation, junk, ammo, legendary items, and so much more.

Sorry, I'm an explosives build, so I'm using my missile launchers and grenade launchers.
Grenadier and Demo expert also work on the explosive legendary effect on ballistics as well as gauss weapons, this would make it easier for everyone to tag at events. 🤘
It’s a wasteland I’ll post to Michael of big wasteland. It’s a role-play game and nobody in opposed to five with big white flag gets to shit about anybody else in real life. If you had a bunch of mini new and launcher, you would kill everybody else that showed up and take salute for yourself, that literally role-play if you were actually role-playing, it’s better just being a sweaty try hard

All my ballistic weapons are explosive....vampire explosive. I can be right on top of a bad guy blasting away, and the vamp effect keeps my health up. I never feel the blast backlash. BUT it does wreck havoc on my armor.

He's not referring to the explosive legendary mod. The effect on most of these is really kind of small and not a problem.
He's referring to actual exploding ammo like rockets, grenades and especially mini nukes. These can become a problem, especially in enclosed areas, because the effects can fill your screen, making it hard to target enemies. Not to mention that it's hella annoying for everyone who's not lobbing explosives all over the place.

Make sure that you are setup under a non-automatic weapon because you will net more ammo than you use generally. Also, make sure to join expedition and daily op teams because those are great ways to earn ammo with contextual ammo.

Fallout 3 is where I was first introduced to the series and fell in love with it. I am actually going back to play Fallout 1 and 2 for the first time very soon.

Why would I turn off screen shake? I love that effect. You know you are becoming a try hard when you dont use fun parts of the game because they are not META...
While screen shake may be fun to you to have on I don't like it for mine. I say use what you like too but I also turn off motion blur and such as well.
