Eric Coldfire Ah, ah, ah. It was Rogue, not Wolfsbane. I remember it fondly. Dodging around, webbing Rogue to the ceiling, smacking Wolverine aside twice, easily catching Nightcrawler as the mutant claimed to be as agile as him...it was a fantastic display. Technically he didn't win though, he bailed on the fight to warn the others of Xavier's plan. Which was promptly erased from his brain just before he could tell anyone.
NOVA Akuma Ah, ah, ah. He lost his leg fighting Green Goblin. It was a pumpkin bomb explosion. It destroyed his leg, but killed Norman Osborn. His special "Spider-Man-ing" leg (different from the one he usually uses during the day) has a terrible tendency to stick to surfaces when he doesn't want it to.

You know, the whole genius level intellect thing is a bit "meh" and overused in comics. I mean, DC suffers from this as well, to a lesser extent, but in Marvel especially everbody and their moms seem to have a genius level intellect.
Peter originally only had a gifted level of intellect, not genius. According to Marvel anyway. The likes of Reed and Doom had what was classified as superhuman intellect. Meaning they were geniuses in basically every field of scientific study. Guys like Ock, and Banner, Stark and Pym, were geniuses in one particular field. Then below that, you had Peter and Hank McCoy, guys who were brilliant, but not genius. Since then though, they've basically merged all those levels of intellect together, and all those guys, save the ones on the top, have gotten intellect bumps.
Not only was Spiderman a member of the Fantastic Four, but he was also a member of "The New Fantastic Four" which was a group comprised of Spiderman, Ghost Rider, Wolverine and The Grey Hulk. They only went on one mission apparently, but it happened.

Well the spider that bit him would've turn him into a giant spider but the reason that it didn't happened, was because of his blood, there's something in his blood that prevented him from transforming.
I got a few for you. Spider-Man once became a new Lizard and on another occasion, a Hulk...aside from when everyone became a Hulk. He once defeated the Hulk by telling him a joke. It was apparently funny enough to change him back into Banner. He once suffered an identity crisis...a real one, not just a saga called that...and tried to "bury the Man, become the Spider". It was stupid. And from the 90s. The Red Skull that killed his parents wasn't the Nazi one, but a Communist who took up the name when the original was thought to be dead. More than once, he had to use a costume store's cheap imitation of his costume. One actually had "Die Spidden" (I think) on the back. The other, he had to keep in place by webbing the seams. And lastly...and honestly, all real fans should know this...he was once buried alive, a traumatic experience if there ever was one.
I've always preferred the organic web spinners. If Parker could invent them chemically he would already be a billionaire. He would be the greatest living chemist. His name would be up there with Stark. He would be more akin to Batman than 'your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man'. And why the heck was he not immediately made a member of the Avengers or SHIELD? He's got a perfect power set for either.
Well technically Peter created the web shooters, not the web itself. Oscorp created it, but since it disolves after 1 hour it's uses is limited. Plus if Peter did release his modified webbing and web shooters to the world, everyone would know he's spiderman, which would put his friends and family in danger.

Idk about others but best Spidey stories were when he was 20. That point when he was growing and turning from kid to young adult. Those were his best stories and most rerlatable so i am so thankful they brought those times back. I loved "The Other" story. It shed light on a darker tone to Parker. Plus, also gives us some insight on the symbiote's nature.

neither civil war nor JMS's run were elseworld stories.. JMS in fact had a fantastic run on spidey (even Back in Black was awesome for the confrontation with the Kingpin) and Joe Queasada ruined it enough for me at least that I basically stopped reading Spidey until Superior started.
It makes more sense to me that parker produces organic webs, if he has all the powers of a spider, why wouldn't he be able to make his own webs?

I remember in the arc involving Morlun, Spidey gains the ability to retract stake like stingers from his writs/web shooters. This was the first time (for me at least) I'd seen spidey with weapons intended to kill as opposed to his usual less than lethal arsenal. Either way the stinger look fking bad ass!

I got a few for you. Spider-Man once became a new Lizard and on another occasion, a Hulk...aside from when everyone became a Hulk. He once defeated the Hulk by telling him a joke. It was apparently funny enough to change him back into Banner. He once suffered an identity crisis...a real one, not just a saga called that...and tried to "bury the Man, become the Spider". It was stupid. And from the 90s. The Red Skull that killed his parents wasn't the Nazi one, but a Communist who took up the name when the original was thought to be dead. More than once, he had to use a costume store's cheap imitation of his costume. One actually had "Die Spidden" (I think) on the back. The other, he had to keep in place by webbing the seams. And lastly...and honestly, all real fans should know this...he was once buried alive, a traumatic experience if there ever was one.

Well technically Peter created the web shooters, not the web itself. Oscorp created it, but since it disolves after 1 hour it's uses is limited. Plus if Peter did release his modified webbing and web shooters to the world, everyone would know he's spiderman, which would put his friends and family in danger.

Idk about others but best Spidey stories were when he was 20. That point when he was growing and turning from kid to young adult. Those were his best stories and most rerlatable so i am so thankful they brought those times back. Now i enjoyed his teenage years in his first adventures but best were when he was experienced but still learning and growing.
