The awesome yet also creepy thing about Amazing Spiderman is that when Peter actually does wind up meeting Mary Jane Watson in his own galaxy, he will know 1,000% that she is his true soulmate love of his life without question - absolute fate. He will know, not just believe, that she is his second chance at lifelong love... That's heavy stuff - I'd love to watch it, should Andrew Garfield hopefully get another 3rd movie finally.
@@CelticsIn5 Actually that’s not quite accurate. MJ actually was supposed to show up in TASM2. The character showed up in a few scenes played by Shaeline Woodley. But, her scenes were cut from the movie entirely. There are still some set photos of the scenes she shot that you can find online.

These are all great info and fun facts about Spider-Man: No Way Home, the previous MCU films and the previous Spider-Man films. I'm so excited and looking forward to get Spiderman: No Way Home on Blu-ray when the movie releases in stores on April 12th.
I enjoyed this movie so much. It's my favorite of the MCU movies, which up until now, had been Winter Soldier. I also enjoyed this narration. It sounded like a true Marvel fan.🙂👍
I am so glad I was able to avoid all spoilers and leaks before seeing this in the theater. It was tough but totally worth it as I didn’t even have an inkling that the other spider-men might be in this which made their appearance just that much more amazing.
I'm not gonna lie, the Spiderman part of the MCU is the only thing I still like. I feel like they try to make every film an Avengers film now but refuse to describe why they don't involve everyone. And they have created so many convoluted and contradictory stories that have zero influence to anything else that it just doesn't work. Just look at any of the crap TV shows, spin-offs, and lesser story arcs as an example. This film was a pleasant surprise, but I wouldn't say it was really the best movie ever. They did some fantastic fan service and poked fun at the various iterations which felt like they fit everything in the story. It was great that they recognized and paid homage to the previous films, scoring major nostalgia points. Even the villains were more humanized and likeable so it gave everything a more fun feeling to it. And the ending was great and held enough emotion to leave the audience in the correct end-point (without a major cliffhanger or killing off the story for the future.)
The unknown character that was gone bring tobey and Andrew was gonna be America Chavez since this movie was originally supposed to be set after that one plus there is already concept art of her in No way home. That’s probably what the deleted scene where Andrew said “you know where to find us” was referring to since America has access to the multiverse
A few years ago I would of never thought I would see all three Spider-Mans in one movie. The Garlfield ones definitely have flaws but I think he did very well in this. I had no desire to see him do another Spider-Man movies until after this. He did well at showing he has grown. All the returned cast members did well. Except for Foxx who is the dumbest Spider-Man movie character.
Alex Kurtzman messed up Andrews last movie as Spider-Man. Glad no way home managed to give him some resolution to his story. Mr Kurtzman should probably stick to original properties as the long standing ones he touches turn to crap.
The same CGI technique was used on Dr. Octopus back in 2004 & it looked better then. They used practical tentacles for certain scenes because they look better on camera & they weren’t lazy.
That and it was written very well. The story was tight and every character was used properly and had a role to play. The story wasn't one dimensional and there was good development. The "McGuffin quest fetching." Were the villains themselves, which adds so much more dimension, to salute your point. But that feeling of redemption when Andrew saved MJ did it for me. It made up for how bad he got it in his run. And the way Toby came by so stoic and graceful. Just happy that his legacy with Spider-Man doesn't end with 3. Idk, it was so beautifully written. Then we got Multiverse of Madness right after and we were back to the regular garbage Disney Marvel content. lol.
The MCU could've just made the threequel about Kraven, Dr. Strange, and Mysterio who is brought back through time by Strange's magic. With No Way Home as a Disney+ nostalgia-driven sequel-series like Cobra Kai that takes place as an alternate timeline crossover of the threequel, and has more reprised roles such as the two Harry Osbournes (Franco & DeHaan), two Eddie Brocks (Grace & Hardy), two Gwen Stacys (Howard & Stone), etc.
This movie was amazing. Usually a race swamped character is written poorly, but Foxx, as amazing as he always is, sold it so well. But he did an amazing job back in the 2nd Amazing Spiderman before Hollywood went to crap with diversity replacing good stories and better dialogue. Take notes Hollywood, you can have your cake and eat it too. Make more films like this!!
I use to hate Jamie Foxx as Electro because in TASM2, he made Max Dillon look like a short and dorky version of Michael Strahan. Also his original superpowered look sucked. Until I saw No Way Home, Foxx's new comic-book accurate Electro with charisma easily grew on me. But the "diverse" characters I still hate are MJ, Ned, and Flash. Peter Parker is in fact a nerd, but his standards are higher than those three downgrades.
Since Marvel never sets up scenes without thinking every little detail up ahead of time, I'm glad that I watched this video and noticed something in the montage of Ned's future of ending up becoming the Hobgoblin.... Ned's jacket !..referring to the color scheme of the Hobgoblin's blue and yellow/gold..!...just like the Goblin's green and purple. 🤔

I’m not too big into Spider-Man or marvel. I’ve only watch the previous films a handful of times. But could someone explain to the significance of the Green Goblin? I get he’s the worst villain but what was the importance of the mask and such?

And also you said the home trilogy was the first marvel trilogy that had the same director for all three when literally the first marvel trilogy the raimi movies all three were directed by SAM RAIMI
This is where I have to step aside and let the younger generation (and probably some of my peers) pick up the super fan mantle. Those last two films has interesting moments but overall we’re absolutely terrible examples of superhero-dom. Peter made awful, awful decisions. Dr Strange criticized those decisions but his were more far-reaching and ridiculous. It’s more his fault than Peter’s. And “Nick Fury” vouched for Quentin, which is what set all of this foolishness and death in-motion. The fake and “real” Fury’s have a lot to answer for.

No. There are spider man comics where Mj doesn’t even exists. And Gwen is the only love interest. In his universe Gwen was the only love interest
