@@ninjatao2024 It is important. It tells that hinge is designed properly with accurate actuation force. 2 of my laptops hinge broke in 4-5 yrs but one that passed 1 hand test going strong for 6 yrs. All from HP.

@@NicD09 It depends on your model and luck. Luck is a big factor on this. I keep my electronics in prestine condition. My 6 yr old one looks like new still. But one hand test is a good metric to gauge hinge quality. That was my point irrespective of mine arr broken or not.

I love the software the seemless connection with galaxy devices and features like quick search, Scalable Codec support(seriously windows also needs to support more Bluetooth codecs)etc are things if you try once you can't live without them.

Mate I'd love an updated iPad vs Macbook video at some point, perhaps it would make the most sense to do so after WWDC if you aren't already planning on one. The last video from a year or two ago was great but a lot's changed since and I'm off to uni soon so I could do with hearing the opinions of a trusted reviewer!

The standard Galaxy book is the one I'm most interested in because of the price. I was expecting 1 thousand for the base model.
Yeah that surprised me too. £699 for 11th Gen i5 / 8GB + 256GB isn't too bad at all. Nice to see some affordable options

I am a Engineering Student. I am looking for a good laptop. I am inclined towards 2in1 laptops so that I can make class notes on it and can use engineering softwares as well. Do you suggest a 2in1 laptop or should I buy a laptop and a tablet separately ?
Does your review unit chassis flex like the one in LTT video did?
Any thoughts on this versus the surface laptop 4?
TTTC, did you happen to notice significant chassis flex on the 15" pro? Just wondering since the short circuit unboxing (the LTT unboxing channel) that Alex did on that channel showed really significant flex, so much so that when Alex held the laptop with one hand from the bottom, it clicked in the trackpad (meaning you can click the trackpad from the bottom (rear plastic panel) of the device. I know you haven't had much time with the thing, but I'm hoping that is something you check out for your full review if possible.

I'm really excited actually. I'm running an MS Surface Book 2 and I think the 360 would be a nice upgrade... did the keyboard have a good feel?
I'd definitely go for galaxy book pro (13 inch)! Love the design aesthetics of it and it's almost as if it has no weight.
Looking forward to these as I'm due to upgrade my laptop. Just curious would they support lightroom/Photoshop since I am a photographer. Or should I just buy the XPS 15/17

I Love, Love these Laptops. Everything I’ve been wanting in a laptop. Number pad, 16X10, weight is insane, the only issue is the screen. I absolutely love my Dell 9500 15.6” UHD+ (3840 x 2400) Infinity Edge with the 16:10 Sharp IGZO Touch Anti-Reflective Display with 500 nits. On my Dell I miss the number pad, but I hate the weight. I’m confused over the screen choices on the Galaxy? Also I love the speed of my unit and I don’t see anything close to my Dell with 10th Generation Intel® Core™ i7-10875H
(16MB Cache, up to 5.1 GHz, 8 cores). I will by this unit in a heartbeat with these two issues resolved. Screen and Power. Again, I loved you post given your limitations. Ted
Your Dell really is far better than this laptop. I don't see why you'd want to swap. If you were coming from a very old laptop or weak one, then sure, but you'd find yourself limited in several areas compared to the dell.

Bout to buy a thin/light laptop for school before the winter holidays. I really want comparisons of the new 15" Surface laptop 4 vs the 15" galaxy book pro. Microsoft has done keyboards right for a few generations and I'm curious what the typing on the galaxy book pro is going to be like if that's a heavy part of my usage

Will you do an AMOLED vs LED comparison advantages and disadvantages ? The resale of AMOLED devices with potential screen burn is not good, unless a laptop is sold within a couple of years and doesnt max out brightness.

With the included SPen on 360, as an artist working with painting programs such as photoshop and paint tool sai, I'm curious about the GBP 360 performance on the painting program like photoshop. It could be a competitor for Ipad pro since some professional applications only available in windows, not in android nor ipados. With SPen using Wacom technology, it could be a potential iPad pro killer for professional graphics work. Maybe you can give us (artist) some coverage with the performance of the SPen (like pressure, lags, etc) in graphic software like photoshop once you get hands-on. Thanks!

It is September 2021 and I'm commenting from the USA. I purchased the Samsung Galaxy Book Pro with 16 GB Memory. Mystic Blue Color. So thin, so light! I love it! As to the keyboard feel, excellent. Screen resolution excellent. Overall, I just love it! By the way I paid $1300, on sale at Best Buy but now it is $1500. I love USB-C.
Hi there thanks for the review, I chatted with the customer service UK about the difference between Amoled screen, Galaxy Pro and the Super Amoled, Galaxy Pro 360. Their answer were: 'Super AMOLED is better because it can have 20% brighter screen, 20% lower power consumption and 80% less sunlight reflect'. For some reviews I can not see the difference in the glossy screen on both models... can you tell me if at least is 20% brighter in the latter?

I would really like to get a 15 inch amoled laptop, but the 11th gen is a bit too little for me.
If alder lake improves things in the perf department, then maybe it is worth a shot. A 4+8 alder lake config with 96eus would be nice and probably similar to a 5600u from amd.

No s-pen slot as it is just too slim a device, but it does have magnets on the back of it that it attaches to. I wish there was a slot too, would be so easy to lose the pen!

These new laptops, just gave me tingles, especially with their sharing and quick pair methods. I use Google Messenger for work and Teams, which are native to both Windows and Mac. Depending on what you find when you finally get a review unit...this might be the final push for me to break away from Apple. Great video as always.
future windows versions should be able to open Android apps as well as run on RISC-V SoCs on next versions of these galaxy books.

i have a galaxy book 12 from a couple years back. would consider the pro 360 but nervous abould going OLED again cause some of the apps i use... eg one note with ruled blue lines may make the screen prone to burn in.
I'd love to see an iPad pro with pencil vs. galaxy book pro 360 with s-pen comparison for multitasking and note taking :)
