I've been following this fabulous band for 5 years and I'm happy to see that more and more users and reactors consider it the best band in the history of metal and with the 2 best twin guitars. And what's great is that these young women reproduce on stage the same quality as in the studio. And very few can.
A progressive metal-rock-balad, with loads of keychanges and even the obligatory reprise (where would progressive rock be without it?), incredible musicianship. Love it!
Yes, it Miyako on piano. She's played piano since age 3. She also can play bass and drums besides guitar. A prodigy in my eyes. It's hard to find a band that has such accomplished musicians. I'd recommend having CC turned on when available.
Haruna and Tamu Murata are two of my favorite drummers out there. I love the way Haruna is able to tie in all the instruments, including vocals, so beautifully with her accents and kick. There so many incredible subtleties that I catch for the 1st time on my 5th, 6th listen to a LB song. And Tamu has so much power for a tiny person (they both do). She just thumps on the kit, plus I beleive her overall skills and versatility are underappreciated. She has tons of drum cam play throughs on her personal channels of projects outside Nemophila includiing Jazz, Pop and Prog Metal played flawlessly. Both those ladies are true professionals and some of the best drummers around, plus you get the added bonus of 2 beautiful smiles.
This is a masterpiece with a powerful and uplifting message. This kind of lyrics is one of the many things that sets them apart. If you’re interested in Miyako playing the piano, then I suggest “Chopin Etude + Swan song”, “Empty daydream”, “Epilogue”, “Liar” (all live). Miyako released here first piano album, covering some heavy metal classics; so I highly recommend her version of “Eagle fly free” (Helloween) that is posted on the Lovebites RUclips official channel.
Probably for the same reason I do!!!!! Especially when Asami hits "THAT NOTE" at the beginning right before the whole band jumps in!!!!! As many times as I've listened to this, and knowing it's coming (so I try to "brace" myself), Asami still ALWAYS gets me!!!! And I'm OK with it!!!!
