Do you have a single breaker lock or a 2-pole lock?

Thanks man , one question. The way the double pole breaker lock is looking like it will prevent the breaker from shutting off. Will it still trip internally ? How does this work with that hinge impeding the mechanism if it trips.

It will still trip. To reset it it, you have to lift the lockout of the way of the breaker
