No need to apologise for ANYTHING. I think anyone with a scintilla of common sense knows that the phrase "Nazi gun" refers to the fact that it was manufactured or used during the Nazi era.
As ever, a brilliant educational film. Thank you so much.

No need to apologize for anything. As much as certain people believe guns kill people, they also think they can have political persuasions, yet ignore the fact Volkswagen was a vehicle made for the nazis, Hugo Boss designed nazi uniforms, Mitsubishi made Japanese zeros etc etc... I understand people being uncomfortable that someone is idealizing the nazi party, but history is history. Just because you don't like it, doesn't mean we all have to ignore it.
What amazingly beautiful pistols. I can't believe there are examples out there is such wonderful condition.

I like your YT channel and have already seen many videos.
I'm fascinated by your knowledge of the "08". In Germany we don't say Luger, we say "08" or "P08".
II M D is probably a Roman numeral, but makes no sense, as the letters are not written in this order:
    II = 2 , M = 1000 , D = 500 This must have a different meaning.
My father had a 9mm 08 after the Second World War, my be from my grand father. After the Ware there were pistols, carbines, even MGs, on almost every attic back then. That was completely normal in the country side back then.
I was than allowed to stay up until midnight and was always excited and fascinated when my father took the "08" out of the pantry next to the kitchen and shot it into the air in the street.
He also had a beautiful shotgun with the barrels fully engraved.
Almost all of us children had a side-barrelled rifle (Seitengewehr 98) and a Wehrmacht belt, "Gott mit uns" (God with us) and a swastika. If you didn't have one of those, you didn't really belong ;-)
This god times came to an end in the time of of tbe end of 70th, when the Baader-Meinhoff terrorists (RAF)have kidnapped and killed VIPs and the gun laws in Germany have been idiotically tightened to make it difficult for terrorists to obtain weapons.
Completely crazy, because the terrorists raided barracks and stole the weapons or got them from the palesitens.
From then on, it was the sport shooters and those who had WWI and WWII weapons at home who were in trouble.

I can tell you an incredible story, my great uncle inherited his p08 from 1915 and it is almost new, when he was a child he lived in Tampico Mexico and a German submarine and they had almost no fuel and the captain of the submarine gave him 2 P.08 pistols because my great uncle's father gave them fuel. Since the pistols were from submarines they were almost never fired, it is incredible at that time the submarines could arrive Germans so far away. Excellent videos and greetings from chaotic Mexico

@19:38 several of the companies manufacturing lugers went underground due to bombing several of these companies were hit in 1942-43 and 44 some of the guns were made in Austria in bunkers were poor light conditions and random parts of the guns were used when you move items around nothing seems to match perfectly so it's my strongest belief you have either a gun from Vienna or a gun made an Innsbruck seen another RUclipsr explaining where lugers were made from an Austrian channel that has its own little gun Channel they're either called a mixed bag Luger or even a tunnel made Luger as lots of these guns were manufactured in bunkers and mines
I was also very shocked on how many people they had producing these pistols and total they had four people making guns in Austria as several of the Machining tools were moved around to different parts in Europe as the Luger was not an important weapon and too expensive to manufacture and production move to making the submachine guns and machine gun rifles most of these companies were hidden from the German government at the time and didn't leave a proper paper trail as some of them use prisoners and foreign workers in the companies
there was a small town near Frankfurt that made hand grenades in people's homes many of these tiny homes were trade workers making mouse traps and bird cages and work in the copper industry in Germany so German manufacturing was mainly all over the place so the Luger could have been built and manufactured even in a small town somewhere with one or two workers by a proper gunsmith

No need to apologize. The more stampings, the better. That person was probably concerned about others viewers becoming influenced by what some may consider an unfavorable label, ultimately having an unjust impact on the import of collectable material. Perhaps the same policy is enforced on non-collecters such as myself today as in 2005, when I could AT6 almost any type of firearm, but because my MZ54 Czech border rifle was issued for use during the Cold War, ATF prohibited it. Regarding the P08 and all small arms of the Rheich and occupied territories, the SS ruins, at minimum adler S stampings of Rheich, enhance nostalgia and value for the collector Sir. No need to apologize. I have lived in EU long enough to become immersed in John M. Browning's lineage in Liege and Brussels. To traverse all of the historic and legendary copiers of German ingenuity (i.e. Brno Czechloslavakia, now Slavakia). Aforementioned is stamped on the receiver of a custom 1,000 yard match rifle with a pair of Mauser bolts headspaced to the same barreled receiver in 300 Winchester Magnum. Even an extra Douglas air guaged XX bull headspaced to the same receiver.

We sell individual guns as well as collections for people. I think we get some of the best prices in the industry. RUclips channel helps.
