- The limitation of these not-synthesizer-synthesizers is part of the appeal. Here I’m practicing using the frequency knob of one of the Pasco Scientific 9301 dual function generators to create a melody, then adding four droning frequencies from the WA-9307A Fourier synthesizer and, eventually, a droning second 9301. It’s all mixed within the Yamaha EM-100, which has an internal Accutronics tank. The four frequencies from the WA-9307A are panned pretty wide left and right, but in this video we hear only the left output channel on the EM-100, which runs through the Peavey 1300 delay and is panned center on the Mackie Onyx 1640, where it gets another delayed reverb from the CXM 1978, which is set slightly fast to create a limp or shuffle to the stacked quarter notes. The 9301 sounds already have a lot of odd phasing, which is increased by the spring reverb, but the old Peavey 1300 delay stacks the notes (and the spring reverb) and furthers the phasing, while also adding pitch anomalies similar to wow and flutter on tape.

I’ve wanted to find a set of these for so long to go with the Serge. Great job as normal
Thanks, got lucky last year and found an eBay seller with eight 9301 and two 9302, from a city college. Also managed to trade with a Modwiggler for the WA-9307A.
damn
This is rather magnificent but all together too short 😅😊😊😊
@@supercompooper thanks!
