- Hey Everyone and Welcome to What Did I Miss. My name is Eric, and today I want to catch you up with what is going on in the Alien franchise. Since a new movie as well as a new series are coming to a screen near you sooner than you may think. So here I would like to discuss the evolution of both projects, how they are connected to the rest of the films in the Alien franchise as well as when you can expect to see them yourself.

Loved the Prey movie (plus Predator vs Alien was a fun battle movie), and I would like a Alien series and any new movies. We just need very strong human actors with a good story, which we have gotten in Prey and the Arnold movie and the Aliens movies with Signourey W.

yes very excited for the movie for sure and the series secondly, but as much as I understand unions needing to do their thing by striking, People of my age, 70 years, who were most likely in the target age during the first coming, Don't have a huge amount of time to be following stories waiting on "strikes" to be over. Yes I get your looking for new audiences in the younger age groups, but keep in mind as the generations age and have seen the original works, producers, directors actors jobs become increasingly more difficult. The Aline Romulus trailer was EPIC, Exciting , and none cringe, so all good so far for me, the director said that they find the Alien from the first film and talk about the black goo from the previous films to LINK THEM All together , so they DO LINK THOSE Films with this film by talking about the black goo they get from the BIG GUY The first Alien in the first film film

This type of movie is called Science fiction horror drama If they do any series it will have to be downgrade so young children don't hear the bad language or killing of off a actors .Mailing a rating is authorized by the motion picture industry I am older adult It was my first Rated R movie It shock me the language because of as teenagers we kid around with the language. The younger generation is not offended of the profanity or curse words. They take this with a grain of salt.I get offended at times.Depending how it's used.

There is so much to work with in the AvP universe, hell even in just the Aliens universe in the future during Aliens, why even limit yourself to Earth before the original Alien?
In the Avp universe, you don't need the Predators in every episode, nor the Aliens, just one or the other and have build ups to major episodes with them both in them.
You can easily have a mixture of episodes through out the series of horror like the original Alien to action packed of Aliens in other episodes.
As for Ridley Scott, screw him. I give him props for Alien, but Alien was not all him, not even half of him and the way he butchered the history of Napoleon proved he is just a boomer that needs to go away.
3rd I was Hopin it would continue with the Engineer(s) arrive at their homeworld (yrs later after P & C ) and see it's been destroyed and everyone is dead - they follow David to the Original Alien world ... crash land ....
Yes me too so much, and think it would be a epic mini war movie, i say with like three different likes all fighting each other , like the Engineers, the Aliens, the Human's with Androids, think it could be great film with a epic WAR At the end with all three species fighting against each other all for DIFFERENT Reason's !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Neither will work in this era of wokeness. Writers suck these days. And entertainment companies are too timid.
Movie will bomb and the television series will flame out as today’s plots lack the creativity seen in movies decades ago.
Oh, one last thing: if a bunch of nobody actors are on screen, nobody will see it as there’s no draw of an established thespian. If there’s no A-lister, movie is relegated to B-list right off the bat. The person making the contracts better put in a percentage clause for the crew and cast, otherwise you’ll get crappy performances/productions.

Prey was so flat, none scary and was so like all set up for the little lady to win, the ending was poor, thought that film was flat, bit boring and was missing excitement for me, and very much of a eye roll
