Thanks for the feedback! These videos take a good bit of time and energy to make. My own high school students are not always as appreciative, so it's nice to hear that I've been able to help! Good luck with your finals!
Thanks Kip! It’s great to get feedback from an expert in this area. I’m aware that it’s minimal - it’s for students who speak English as a second language
@@Factotum6814 Emily, I am far from an expert. You probably know far more than I do. Haven't studied medieval theatre or had much to do in that arena for decades. Your video had stuff in it that I never remembered. Medieval literature courses in College had us struggling through Canterbury Tales in the original middle English - insane! So, I found it fascinating to revisit via your video.
Thank you so much for this! I have a Uni exam and I got really stressed, because I am feeling very unhappy these days and I couldn't concentrate to study, but this video helps me remember things, so thank you!!
4:43 I’d like to clarify, Illiterate in the Middle Ages were for people who cannot READ or UNDERSTAND LATIN It’s made known that the average person can read their local dialect or vernacular, but since Latin was the Lingua Franca of the age, you’re generally considered well-learned if you spoke Latin. Another point I’d like to add is that there are traveling performers and troubadours that are ALSO made to play these shows Overall, good vid! 👍
Send me the a translation and I’d be happy to add subtitles in Malayalam. It”s cool to know that a Canadian made a video in English for Italian students that is being watched on (for us) the other side of the world!
THE best video about medieval theatre on youtube. Thank you so much, you just saved my finals!!❤❤❤
