I love the state the obvious narration. It makes it, Idk it brings it home... like when you were a kid and your family got its first camcorder and you walked around with it narrating your families lives against their will. You all know you did it at some point or another.
@@TheDashingProduction Um, you recognize that the movie cast is the same as the OBC, excluding Rosario Daeson and the woman who plays Joanne (I don't remember her name). It had an extremely talented cast, however the reason it wad so subpar was because it was badly directed and was done very unoriginally. Like the montages, the transitions could have been done so much better. They just spoke the lyrics and loads of songs were cut bc Christopher Columbus didn't know how to direct them, or due to the stretching out of the first part. A movie's success/downfull isn't only due to the actors. Infact, you can see that the actors are very talented due to the shows success in general. A movie wouldn't have been made if the actors were untalented, bc the original show wouldn't have even become popular.
This show is great. Very few shows on broadway (or off it for that matter) have so much emotion and can get such a response from the audience. It will make you laugh, cry, sob, cheer, and want to go up on stage and give the character a hug. I think it's amazingly written and it's one of those shows that connects with everyone.

Saw them (Adam & Anthony) Jan. 10 here in Cleveland!! Those 2 were bringing it like it was still 1996!!! If you have a chance to see that national tour, GO GO GO!!!!! From what I heard, this will probably be the last time that Pascal & Rapp do this show together!
Ooh, Filmed live on Broadway! Of course, none of them are exactly original cast (which I adore the recordings of), but it's still great in my eyes (and my ears)! See, I've only seen the movie and listened to the broadway soundtrack, and know a little bit about the main diffs. So, it's great seeing how it actually works on stage!

No one can compare to Adam Pascal and Anthony Rapp, but come on now, the people playing Roger and Mark are amazing! Sure they're not Adam or Anthony, but they are really good. So people, stop complaining about them. This is a good show with good actors and actresses. If you don't like them, don't comment. Simple as that.
Is it just me or am I not able to hear the "Speak" part of the answering machine? I swear I can't hear it in any of the other recording either, even though I know it's there. Does anyone else have this problem?

i find myself not watching this at all,instead listening to it as background noise, ive watched it so many times its comforting to listen to it.

It's not the cast that is better it's the fact that all the music that was taken out is there and scenes were brought back
