Thanks for saving me at least 20 minutes. Surprising that one would have to search RUclips for such a fundamental task. Note to eBay: maybe this process should be easier?
Thank this video! Did you know that Walmart directed me to this video? I was approved to sell on their platform and they referred me to this video to obtain the CSV file. Thanks again!
First, congrats on getting approved to sell on that marketplace!! Second, wow! I had no idea! This is one of my most popular videos, maybe it's the Walmart juice.
thank you this took forever to find, there's a few other places they could have put this to make it easier to find (like your standard screen when you are browsing your own inventory)
So helpful! I am trying to create a csv file to import some of my listings to a new platform ... do you have a video on how to do that once the csv is created as you have shown here? Also how can I easily find and move the appropriate photos for each listing? Is there a way? They are all filed on my laptop/hard drive. To search for each one will take too long ... hoping there is a faster way! Thanks so much!!!
hello I also wanted to ask you another question regarding SEO I created a flat file and sent it to ebay but the problem is that there is no traffic or really very little, could you tell me what information eBay makes available to me, how to access it and how is it what do you react to in this case, what are the decisions to be made? and previously I asked you if you use artificial intelligence? I have zik and I was wondering if it would be beneficial to create a GPT with the zik API?
hello, I load the template that I filled into ebay but the problem is that I get an error message, could you explain to me the reasons why there is an error message this step ? anyway thank you very much for your videos
Hi and thanks for watching! I'm not sure, but it sounds like you are trying to import listings into ebay? I would try to find help in ebay community pages or contact them directly.
@the5to9Hustle yes I followed all that, I did exactly as you show in your tutorial but it doesn't work, could I show you screenshots, could I contact you on Facebook ?
Hi there, quick question. Can this report also be used to them upload into Walmart Seller? Does it have the description section as well? Thank you for any info.
Hello, thank you for the video, we are trying to download the eBay description source or HTML to revised all the listings. We used the eBay FIle Exchange. Please let us know. Thank you. Also thank you for the video. Thank you.
Hello, it doesn't work, and when I write to eBay support they tell me wrong things, there is someone on the eBay US community who gave me the template for jewelry, but the problem is that the PDFs I find give me bad information and I still have a lot of questions, I don't understand what the PDFs tell me, could you help me understand Thanks
I’m sorry you are having this issue! Unfortunately I don’t have experience importing listings into the platform so I don’t think I’ll be able to help. Perhaps a cross posting service could help if your are trying to move listings from another platform into eBay.
@the5to9Hustle hello it was very but I finally managed to send my product catalog to eBay composed of simple product and variable products but the problem is that it's been a week and I have no visits I had some ideas but I don't know if they are good ones Do you mind if I ask you some beginner questions? and also could I show you my products and let me know what you think of them?
It would be good if the Seller Hub listing downloader had more options, e.g. to only download single listings and not include variation listings. Some software like PriceYak do not monitor and reprice variation listings.
This method doesn’t get you the title, description and photos. It might be worth looking at a cross listing platform (like list perfectly) to do this quickly and efficiently.
All this works well BUT the exported listing does not contain any variants. I my case I am trying to move a listing from one account to another and the wife sells clothing. Size, material, style etc etc etc
@@termitesarenotgoodforhomes I found this but it’s from 2013 so might not apply any longer. community.ebay.com/t5/Archive-File-Exchange/Downloading-Variations-for-Listings/td-p/3026829
@@the5to9Hustle Thanks for trying but no solution found yet. UPDATE. Have been informed by eBay that a download won't include Item Specifics if the listing already includes all the Required Item Specifics. Go figure. I did try to edit out a required item specific ( to test the download of one listing ) but was unable to save it because an item specific was missing...lol
@the5to9Hustle yes every time I correct the errors and when I load the catalog then I get new errors, could you help me understand could I send you a PM
I tried this 09/26/2023. All I get is absolute garbage in the download. I do not get my 4200 listings at all. And, the few I get make zero sense. What am I doing incorrectly? Do I need an apple computer to make this work? I have a Windows operating system.
I don’t think having a pc would make a difference but it definitely sounds like something is off. Are you choosing Listings as the source? Are you opening the csv with a spreadsheet program like excel or Google sheets?
@@the5to9Hustle well, I was considering the "time to time" part. On further reflection, I don't really see a need. I have all the information within Active Listings. And anything actually sold is recorded in Apache Office. I think I'll stick with what is already working. But, thank you for your input.
Just for grins and giggles, I tried it again today 05/09/2024. The readout breaks at different places for different listings. It appears that there would be a lot of work sorting after it is moved to a spreadsheet. When I have EXTRA time, I might give it another go and see how much work it might be. But, so far, not terribly impressed.

Try this tool to get the description field as well: www.isdntek.com/ebaytools/ActiveContentEditor.htm

Do you know how to export an ebay report with image url?
Not from eBay but this tool can get image urls for you: www.isdntek.com/ebaytools/BulkPhotoScanner.htm
Is there a way to make this file of listing from perhaps just 4 categories?
I don’t think there is a way to export the listings like that but you can sort or filter the spreadsheet by category.
@@the5to9Hustle so you mean I can make the file then delete the categories in it before full upload to sixbit.
Anyone know how to download the listings descriptions ?

You can! In a massive improvement eBay just recently updated this. Go to Performance > Sales and you can now pull THREE YEARS of data.
Doesn’t do images…..
Doesn't do anything really, no images, no descriptions. Useless.
