- Here is the famous Tampa "street runner" going down the middle of Polk St in Downtown Tampa. He was twelve cars long, a pretty good sized train for this local.

How often does this train run? I'd love to catch him running thru downtown Tampa.
West Florida Fire Trucks I believe Wednesday thru Sunday. Usually runs anytime between 5:30 and 7:30 PM and doesn't return till usually around midnight or early morning.

How often does a train run on that track?
WiseAssGamer this is the only one, runs twice, south on the way to the port of Tampa and goes the other way coming back obviously. Runs Wednesday thru Sunday in the evening, typically after 6:30 unless they've changed the scheduy
I live near Tampa and I believe that track goes to MacDill AFB.
I live near Port Tampa and i can hear the train horn after 21:00. A few months ago, i chased it as it went northeast toward Tampa. I parked on Polk Street and stood only a few feet away as it rolled slowly through Downtown Tampa.
