- Vanderbilt Pitcher Jack Leiter discusses:
Growing up in the Leiter household
Mental Game
Pitching Mechanics
Pitch Grips including his Fastball, Curveball, Slider, Cutter and Changeup
He seems like one of the least egotistical athletes in baseball seriously. He’s passionate about baseball and wants to get better. He’s one of my favorite players in baseball right now after this interview
Yeah what is everyone a bragger now .
This kids gonna be something in the MLB. I don’t even follow college baseball that closely but every once in awhile a player will come along who you just know has that “it” factor, even from seeing him play once or twice.
Instantly my new favourite up and coming pitcher. Go look up "wholesome" in the dictionary - there will probably be a pic of Jack.
Jack is a great kid. Great family and a joy to have watched him pitch in high school. Nothing but the best for you Jack. Also his uncle is pretty awesome too!
The whole leiter family is awesome 🙌🏼
Thank you for including some college pitchers. Jack is my favorite. He’s a great inspiration to the young ones out there. Thank you again for this content
Loved his Dad, and really liked this interview. I thought with a all-star pitcher of a dad, he'd always have been amazing but interesting to hear his challenges as a youth.
Amazing interview Leiter is gonna be an absolute stud in the majors for years to come but damn seeing into his mindset a little bit was sweet it's cool to see how a kid that young has that type of mindset and focus
Watched this interview twice now. Definitely gonna go buy Mental ABCs of pitching and really dive into that aspect. Great interview
love a kid with talent that loves baseball the way he does. refreshing.
cant agree more with jack in the last 90 seconds. Rob your twitter has helped my game so much. love picking the brain of all these guys.
Thanks man!
Awesome interview packed with so much useful info -- really inspiring stuff
I only now just made the connection that his Dad is Al Leiter even after studying both of their approaches at batters
We need this guys leg workout
Pitching Ninja is a daily ritual and like he said something that’s is incredibly helpful for any pitcher trying to get better. Love what you do
Thanks man! Glad you're getting something out of these!
Yaaaaaa... jack leiter is awesome. This is the first time I've seen an interview with him and he gives so much good advice and stuff thus guys awesome!!!
my son turned me on towards your channel and he goes to Vandy, so love the baseball
Love this stuff helps a lot keep it up
Great video
Jack looks so much like Al its crazy
Good stuff Jack, best of luck 🤝
these videos are invaluable for high school players like myself
@Nathan Reaney they’re very insightful
How
He sounds and says things today what Jacob deGrom sounds like and has been saying from 2018 till now. Wow. Leiter is gonna be scary good in the majors.
I’m so not a pitcher. You too following you has totally changed the way i watch the game and my approach playing in my 35+ at the plate
Very cool!
So glad my Rangers snatched you up! Can't wait to see you in the red, white and blue!
Great interview.
Let's go rangers!!
On the road for 20k subs!!!
He is the spitting image of his dad.
Man, I hope JL or KR are available at 7 for the Royals, but I won't hold my breath.
I'm just hoping one of them will be there for the Tigers at 3 but I'm not so sure
I would do anything for either one of them to be available at 7, but don’t think it’ll happen either :/
@@jamesgeshel7867 great point. They could very easily be 1-2 as it stands right now.
Sorry the buccos are guaranteed either one
Go Rangers😎 💙❤️
Rangers got a good one with this kid.
