I’m a med student in Sweden and have just studied about the operation process. They give you calming meds before so that you are more relaxed and don’t need as much anaesthesia, due to the fact that anaesthesia wears and tires out your body. The less anaesthesia the better for your body and your recovery!
They likely gave some versed - a common practice by most anesthesiologists in the US to help you feel calm on the way into operating room. However, you most likely didn’t fall asleep, versed has an amnesia effect so it’s more likely that you just don’t remember getting into the procedure room.
This video literally made me anxious and cry 😭 you are so strong and i think it is very beautiful how you took the news like a blessing of being healthy for so many years 💛 hope you continue to recover smoothly much love from a subscriber
I had cancer for 8 years (9yrs old till the age of 18 now I'm 20 ), and i couldn't walk and i was tied to a wheelchair for 7 years, and 3 years ago, i got my leg amputated.. It was a long journey, especially since i was very young, and i didn't really understand why i had to go through such a terrible situation, but now im so grateful for everything because i know that everything happens for a reason and people go through hardships and we live and experience.. I'm so proud of myself for surviving. Even if i got my leg amputated, i was actually happy when it happened because i knew i wasn't going back to the wheelchair and i got a prosthetic leg. Now i can walk, go to the gym, AND DANCE CUZ I ALWAYS WANTED TO BE A BALLERINA. I'm living the best life that i could ever have. I'm so proud of you GRACE🤍💐, and i'm so happy that you're doing great and everything went smoothly for you. Hope everyone is doing great, and if you're struggling, know that you're not alone and I'm prying for everyone to be healthy and well🤍.

Welcome back Grace! Hope you are doing much better now since your surgery. I had to go through double jaw surgery in April of this year so honestly I’m glad I did this even though I was not expecting that I would actually be quite alright

Yess I’m so so grateful for the loved ones surrounding me ❤️ I still have to overcome my AVM as well but I’m confident it will go smoothly and everything will be okay :,)
To health and happiness! I can totally relate to that numb, zoned-out shell of emotions post-diagnosis. I cried all the way from the clinic to the hospital lobby. Lol. I feel like we go through grief for ourselves. It took me a couple of months before I felt any sense of acceptance. I still struggle with it intermittently today.

My health issues throughout the year😭: I had health issues since i was a kid they weren’t that serious just pain in my body weak stamina my parents did everything they could to help me i went to so many doctors throughout the years but all of my test are same i am sick and tired of doctors saying its all in my head sometimes i just want to sit ans cry all that last year in November i had this unbearable pain i my spine amd lower abdomin/back i did all my test had done mri and went to so many doctors but nothing really shows up now i just learned to bear them because I don’t want to worry my parents as they did and arw doing so much for me i am so grateful to have such good people surrounding me hope one day i can get free from all this and be healthy Ps:i also did physiotherapy for my pain in lower back its better but still i get 10/10 pain so yeah and I really need to work on my routine too its too long i know but i just needed someone to rant too💗😭

My aunt was diagnosed with this and unfortunately happened do to trauma (7 car accidents and 3 times bucked off a horse). She has very severe symptoms and she's lost so much weight and gets very weak. She needs to get a surgery but she's terrified but we are begging her to do it and get some of her life back
