I swear I subbed after this.. it might be general knowledge to experienced bakers, but you literally came through in the clutch for us newbies.. me and hubby we sitting here with a knife about to mess these cakes up because I couldn’t figure out how to level it with the thing or😂😂😂
I had been banded by the fire debarment from getting closed to a oven. lol so... I don't see my self needing this any times soon... but nice... very informational.
Very useful video....I wud Neva have thought to pull the legs outwards...I wud hav thought the item has arrived with a fault...bc u wud expect the item to be as it arrived... not that u wud hav to make changes to it....by pulling the legs apart.. lol🤣🤣🤣
No problem, hmm technically it's best to not put anything on the bottom since it might make your cake uneven. But if you want something to protect the sharp metal edges at the ends, I would put 2 thin pieces of tape there. Just make sure it's flat 🙂

Hi Tina, the length of the wire can cut small cakes as well, it does not need to be shorten. For example, if the wire cutter is 10 inches wide, it can cut anything from 10 inches and smaller. To adjust the height, you push inwards on both of the metal legs and move the height of the wire up or down. I hope this helps. (:
they're probably glued on, you can either rip it off and re-glued on....or you can push the metal inwards like I did but with the wire on then push the wire(s) upwards (so they're loose) and then bend the metal bar outward, then slip the wire back on from the top.

Nope! nothing special to clean. Just use a kitchen sponge with some dishwasher liquid and clean it just like your dishes!

For example, if the wire cutter is 10 inches wide, it can cut anything from 10 inches and smaller.

The second wire can also go on top of the 1st wire, it's for cutting 3 layer cakes evenly. Use 2 wire the same way as you would with 1 wire. 🙂
