These are beautifully presented and made 😍 Beautiful art piece, I really love a wide range of blues and greens in a set rather than purple. When everyone freaked out about Prisma changing their 2 purple colours I was like meh I can make up colours from the ones I have haha
Yeah, you are not wrong! I think when it comes to the purples in most sets, have such a small selection of them. Thank you for liking the art page. I designed it specifically to be used with the color pencils sets with more limited colors.
The gold and silver are available open stock. This is one of the few open stock pencils I don't own. I was afraid they would be extremely similar or even the same cores as my Lyra's as they are extremely similar in appearance.. but they appear to be much softer, and put out an awful lot of dust. The other issue is the lack of natural greens and ochres. I love my greys, but there are way too many for such a small palette here, two or three would have been sufficient and allowed them to add those missing natural shades. I have the Goldfabers which are only 48.. but it's a much more balanced palette, and while I would prefer more colors I never feel like I'm completely missing something necessary.
Yeah I can see that for sure (about the dust) I agree with you all the way. They have such beautiful colors...we just need more of the ones we use more often!!!
I have a friend who lives in the Netherlands and her mother have her her Bruzzies. Back in their heyday, there were more colors. But as the company has changed hands, unfortunately so has the number of pencils in the set.
well thats a definite buzz kill! But yeah I guess those things will happen. Look at how Prismacolor changed hands and declined in colors as well as quality
How nice you reviewed them! These pencils were my first pencil set when I was a kid, and there were 100 colors to choose from. Lucky me, I was able to stock up pretty good, so I still have 98 colors to choose from. Still my go to pencil! 😊
Haha Will, this comment totally messed me up! I've been responding to comments on my latest video, so I wasn't paying attention and thinking this was about THAT video. I was thinking, what is he talking about??? These pencils aren't that old! haha Now that I'm actually paying attention, I see what you are talking about! But now I have to say Im a bit jealous of you!!! This set would be GREAT with that many colors. Its so nice you still have yours!!! Thanks for appreciating the video and for commenting!
@@sugahsweetart you're welcome! And yes, still happy to have them. But after watching some more of your video's you've made me curious about the Nassau pencils as well
Hello from the UK. Only found your channel last night and I have really enjoyed watching your videos and listening to your instruction on various pencils and techniques. I wanted to ask whether you sold the colour family swatch charts for the various pencils you own, that you show in your videos, and if so where can they be purchased. You also have a new subscriber to your channel and I look forward to going through your back issue videos and also look forward to watching all your new content. Thank you for sharing your wealth of knowledge here on YT. Regards Helen.
You're the best!!! And HELLO UK!!! I'm SO glad you stumbled onto my little channel. It seems you really appreciate it....so for that, I appreciate you, Helen! If you have a FB page you need to come join us there. It's so much easier to chat there and share...I feel SO much pressure on the things I post here. I always feel like Im going to bore everyone! haha As for the family swatch sheets, I 100% plan o getting them in yalls hands. It will either be cheap or free! Thanks for following! 😍
I too have this set and the watercolor set and how I wish they had more colors😢. What does it mean when the colors/layering starts “rolling”? You mentioned it in this video but I didn’t quite understand it 🫣
I feel like I need to do a video specifically on that. It's like when the colors you are trying to put down just pushes the color you already have down. It sort of creates little micro dots of colors...if that makes any sense
I have wondered about these for years! Thank you❤
I hope I helped scratch your itch!
Also... music is perfect level! 👍🏻
Thank you. I was so paranoid about it haha
Amazing pencils ❤
They were definitely made with love

I'm a sucker for an amazing display and excellent packaging, I just wish there were more pencils!
You and me both! It would be so easy for them to do another shelf system and ad more colors
They have a 72 colored pencil set called Expression.
Wow the packaging is amazing. Thank you for sharing.
Yeah, I guess in this case, you sacrifice more color options for a sleek display. But I got to say, it is quite the packaging!

The little drawers are so sweet, and the pencils are really beautiful looking. It's just a pity there isn't more of them!
Yeah I agree. It would not have been hard to create more shelf systems to add to the colors

@@willspook Yeah, I think they are underrated in the world of color pencils!

You SO need to make those swatch sheets available. I have a friend who told me to tell you she NEEDS them. NOW!!! LOL@@sugahsweetart
@@susantucker4396 well you tell your friend I absolutely appreciate that! And I promise you...Im working on it!
🥰🥰🥰
It says “Also available separately in 48 colours + gold and silver” 0:56
So yeah, “separately”….
So... I was right? haha
