I went for the first time this year as a guest of Lang & Hyne. The funny thing was that whatever table I went to try on a watch people would come up and ask to see my watch which was on the tray thinking it was one that manufacturer's watches and the representative would have to tell them that's not our watch.
Just went this morning to the show. I told a Parmigiani Rep that I watch your show. I was quite surprised how well their watches hugged my wrist. My favorite was H Moser’s Streamliner small seconds and Glashutte Original’s Panomatic Lunar blue dial
I was there on Saturday. I also tried that Lang on. Amazing piece. Contrasting I then went to Windup show. Quite a different event. WatchTime is the up scale event. WindUp had 140 vendors, almost all of them mircobrands. It appeared anyone can build a watch.
Sounds like a great event that i missed. Im greatful that the NY horological society is now expanding their classes to include Toronto (where i live). Look forward to the IWC sponsored 101 to 103 classes on Nov 03. Love your channel
It was a great show, Doc-I'll be there next year, so hopefully we'll see you. We generally meet on the Mezzanine floor...we'll make sure next year! Take care, Bill.
I really want to go next year. Bill, how do you decide what watch to take with you? That might be an interesting video/topic. Thanks for sharing your trip with us!
Hello, I'm 18 and have been looking into starting a business. I thought starting a watch brand would be a pretty good choice. Do you have any advice on how to model the watch, how to build a prototype, etc.? Thanks!
The OK group is Oklahoma Watch Collectors Guild (check out their FB page). I'm in Connecticut-a little state but it seems all of our meetings are online, Lousy. Take care, Bill
That new Toric with gold movement is really good can’t wait for someone flipping it in secondary market i am guessing atleast 25 to 30 % dip over retail. Its an ambitious move using gold movement but they got a little too greedy in pricing .
Has anyone heard of Evan’s & Evan’s, Alresford? I have a small watch with a gold face and hands, it has a number 80128 stamped on the back, along with stainless steel back and Swiss made. I have been unable to find any information other than the company closed in 1970. I would appreciate any help with my search.
I've seen a few online for sale, but could find little else, Darren. You might look at some auctions for more detailed descriptions of E&E. Take care, Bill
@AliReza-do5my #1 Shows in slow motion how two identical movements on a brass plate enter resonance: ruclips.net/video/god0e40scaE/видео.html . #2 Shows the difference when the same two movements on cardboard do not achieve resonance.: ruclips.net/video/FRQYLo1DshA/видео.html. Take care, Bill

I'm not surprised Richard-all H&L watches are fantastic. I had the same experience with my PF Ovale with the telescopic hands. Take care, Bill
Thanks for sharing Bill. That watch show looks great. I wish I could have gone. We don't get many watch shows here in Ireland!
Rob, I only go to this one each year. Isn't it just a jump over to Geneva from the Emerald Isle? Take care, Bill
Looks like a lot of fun, thanks for sharing Bill.
Trying to pull together affordable and excellent horology Dani. Those two are overlooked but worth it. Take care, Bill
What a wonderful experience and Rosanna and Leon hosted a fabulous pre-event with watch makers - highly recommend attending both in upcoming years
That pre-event may be by invitation only, Stefano, but it does sound like fun. Take care, Bill

Very good show this year ConsistenC...Very impressed by Parmigiani and H. Moser. Take care, Bill
Looks like a fun day out. I think there’s a UK version but I’ve not been able to make it and unlikely to anytime soon.
With all of the horological enthusiasm in the UK, it would make sense to do so Ed. Take care, Bill
Thanks for sharing Bill. It looks like a great event.
This year was a great deal of fun Graham. Just trying to share what little I could. Take care, Bill

It sounds like you had a great time at both Paul! Take care, Bill
My schedule didn’t allow me to attend this year, but I heard it was great.
Hope you can make it next year D. Take care, Bill

Glad to hear it, Victor! Toronto is a great watch city too. Take care, Bill
Attended for the first time this year and really enjoyed it.
What did you enjoy most, David? Take care, Bill
Hope to visit someday. They had some amazing watches there!
Please do HRM! It's fun to meet everyone face to face. Take care, Bill
I'm not a dress watch guy particularly, but the Toric collection was maybe my favorite of the show. Interesting muted colors and platinum!
The Toric line is really unique, I agree Tom. I was thinking the same thing! Take care, Bill
I didn’t know you were from Connecticut, funny coincidence I’m from there too.
Yep, Scooby, live up by the 'Notch' in the north central part of the Constitution State. Take care, Bill
I’m so sorry that I missed you during the show. Would’ve loved to say Hi in person. Next year hopefully 🤞🏻👍🏻
It was a great show, Doc-I'll be there next year, so hopefully we'll see you. We generally meet on the Mezzanine floor...we'll make sure next year! Take care, Bill.
Dear Bill, thanks as always for the great video. Did you visit with L&H, and did they have any news to share about upcoming releases etc?
I really want to go next year. Bill, how do you decide what watch to take with you? That might be an interesting video/topic. Thanks for sharing your trip with us!
If you can go Paul, sign up for the Friday night cocktail party early-it sells out quickly. Take care, Bill

Hi Bill,
What associations or groups do you have in your area and or that you referenced in OK?
The OK group is Oklahoma Watch Collectors Guild (check out their FB page). I'm in Connecticut-a little state but it seems all of our meetings are online, Lousy. Take care, Bill

You might be right about the price, Abns, but it's such a beautiful piece, I bet you'll be glad you got one! Take care, Bill!
BTW, where do you live? Far from NYC?
If you look at a map of Connecticut you'll see a little 'notch' along the northern edge. We live about 11 miles from the notch, JY. Take care, Bill

@@watchartsci Cheers Bill, I’ll have a look.
Hey Bill, your audio is really poor. You need to check your microphone 🎤
It's the same mic I use for everything, but for some reason it didn't sound right this time. Thanks for the heads up. Take care, Bill
Sounds like you are next to a busy road.
I hope you make a video about resonance watch you made
