I was wondering the same thing. I'm willing to bet he forgot to change it based on the results. Those spin numbers seem way too off as if it was looking for the RPT ball.
I doesn’t matter…a regular ball on a sim for sure will not read accurately. Maybe a little better on a real range because it has more travel distance to read with the radar
Just to add, pretty sure he never changed the setting for use of no RBT ball, if so not mention it don’t help but I would bet on the former. Also Rapsodo do state that without the RBT ball you won’t get spin rate. I got one and to be honest it is an amazing bit of kit. Value for money all day long, impact vision and shot replay are so helpful in analysing your errors or seeing what you done on the good shots. Only problem for me is since getting it I think I practise and play 18 holes everyday. Pretty sure I got a wife and family in the house somewhere but I might as well move into the garage as that’s where I tend to spend all my time now 👍
@GolfersAuthority I have the Rapsodo shipping to me now. I want to use it inside but I don't have a fancy net or enclosure. So I want to try to use the almost golf balls inside.
Thanks for the review. I’m stil waiting for a chance to exchange my old MLM. The range I go to have very poor service, so it’s very difficult to use the device.
Same with my ml2pro. Numbers are spot on with RCT balls. Without the dots…spin is a joke. I get like 500-900 spin on wedges that I normally spin 9-11000. Also on fairway woods..5w and 7w getting like 300-500. I’ll hit a sand wedge 130-140 due to low spin. It’s pointless to get a mlm2pro unless you commit to buying the balls that they exclusively sell for 70 bucks a dozen. Idk why they made such a good product that can’t read regular balls
Thanks for the video, but it’s not exactly scientific, therefore doesn’t really say anything for how well the rapsodo functions, or the GC3 for that matter.

Did you update the settings with which ball you used before testing each ball? You can choose range ball, premium ball, or the rpt ball.

I was also wondering this, these numbers seem WAY off compared to some other reviews I have seen.

Good point. You could buy 1000 dollars of RPT Balls and then still be cheaper than a skytrak
@@patrickhoward4080 you can put dots on any ball

Thanks for this review. Any idea how well Almost Golf balls work with the Rapsodo?
Oooh that is a great idea! I have not tried that yest but need to. What launch monitor are you using now?

@@SaguinMedia Stick around I have a ton of new reviews coming out and giveaways with some of the hottest brands, there is even a net :)
They don't work even if you try to put the dot pattern on them
@@philtrick123 bummer
Why dont my graphics on my MLM2 look like they do for you? What course is that?
lol, just some random one. I can't remember to be honest. How long have you had the mlm?

How did you get so many metrics instead of 3 ?
Where are you talking about?
You see only 3 with iPhone but 6 or so with iPad. It measures a lot. You get to chose which u see after each shot.
Awesome Paul, thank you for the information on it, I just got an MLM2Pro! and this is very helpful with future usage of the device.
