@franmiller5573 unfortunately some people can't be helped. I tried with my ex husband for so many years and this is the man who never smoked and rarely drank. Like I mentioned if you don't have the willpower to change, unfortunately nothing can be done. It's sad but it's the reality 😪

Instead they enabled him by escorting him around Argentina and undoubtedly organising every part of the trip. it's just horrific, a senseless death. what are the hotel rules and regulations when their guests are under substance influence? even if passing out on corridors and convulsing should they send them back to their room, a room with balcony, no monitoring them? where were the hotel security guards????

Live a normal life and be satisfied with that. I understand fame and fortune are addictive and you want them, but your life is more valuable 2) Stay away from soc med if you have mental health issues 3) Have a support group - tell your family, your close trusted friends, or join any group 4) Last but it's the most important, turn to God. It’s so sad. Especially since it sounds like his fall was an actual/accidental fall and not a suicide attempt (which also would have been sad). Yes, the NYTimes mentioned the emergency call by the hotel worker. Apparently, all the hotel staff were very concerned about the crazed state he seemed to be in. I don’t think they knew who it was. I think they were just concerned that a guest was in an escalated state and was damaging all the stuff in his room, and they thought it was under the influence of drugs and alcohol so they were worried that he could fall from being so out of control. But he fell before 911 responders arrived. The hotel staff were right to be so concerned. The NYTimes also reported Liam Payne’s having said earlier in life when he was trying to get sober that One Direction’s fame had been highly problematic in that the only way to keep the band members safe and secure was for them to stay in their individual hotel rooms all the time. So they each spent a lot of time alone in hotel rooms during their very long world tours. He said “and what’s in a hotel room? The mini bar.” So he just started having his own parties with the mini bar while essentially locked in his hotel rooms all over the world. And it sounds like this was from a pretty young age.

Don't take drugs or drink kids, this is what happens. Nobody helped him i bet. Very sad and devastating for his young son.
