      it works great for me 15-20 mins of intense work, then 3-5 of relax. BUT, if is something I'm really into and I CAN'T WAIT to see it happen(feeling that excited to can't wait to see it finish), then I will work like 8-10 hours without even taking a break to drink water, lol

    • @UsaraDark
      @UsaraDark 2 года назад

      To add on, this 90 minute burst is loosely based on the basic rest-activity cycle (BRAC), which is synced to your biological clock. It's not exactly 90 minutes, but is some range of 80-120 minutes, depending on how focused you were and mental capacity. For the last 20 minutes or so, your brain starts to slow down. Since it's an ultradian rhythm, it repeats itself multiple times every 24-hours, starting the moment you wake up. It may be beneficial to chunk your day into 1.5-2 hour sections.
      I've tried designing a schedule that works with BRAC, but mainly in terms of optimizing naps. If you nap dead smack in the peak of a BRAC, it's can be difficult to sleep, but place it towards the end then it usually becomes easier. Besides naps, I'm sure you can use it for work, especially in the mornings.

    One thing I'd like to add apart from this being great advice, is that for many men it's not going to help them with women.
    Self-betterment is always a worthy pursuit, but the percentage of men who are attractive remains steady among women who, if I'm going to be blunt here, promote unrealistic standards.
    You are going to have women who even after your growth as a person, physically, intellectually, athletically, whatever, will tell you that you still don't measure up. Remember you're not doing this for them, and don't waste your energy on people who won't appreciate you.

      So well said!

    • @liyon316
      @liyon316 2 года назад +82

      While basically true, I'll say this to be hopeful as it has applied to me at various times in my life. When it comes to women, for the most part, you will get the women that most align with the type of person you ultimately are. If you're an introverted 7, you're not going to get a model 9 especially if you're in her circle of influence. With that said, there is something to be said about self-confidence. I feel at my most attractive/confident when I feel I deserve what I'm going after. These routines like working out, etc... might not seem like a big deal, but they are all about building that feeling of you deserve things in life. I can feel a massive drop in confidence when I take long lay-offs from not keeping up with self-improvement routines b/c I know I haven't put in the work to deserve the things that I want. And at the end of the day, attraction is basically an extension of your self-confidence. If I don't feel at my best, I don't give off my best energy.

    • @urhunn7778
      @urhunn7778 2 года назад

      The good news is, you do not have to be attractive to ALL women. In fact, you don't have to be attractive to MOST women. You only have to be attractive to just one or two Females, or maybe a few, depending on how many plates you wish to spin at the same time. The reason for self-improvement is to become confident in yourself that you have values as a man and as a mate, that you are good enough. Trying to be attractive to many or most people, so you could choose the best from the crowd that wants you, is the Female mating strategy, not the Male mating strategy, and it never was. Unfortunately in our Feminist world feminized men try to follow Female sexual strategy, and they get depressed when it doesn't work. Of course it won't work! Male sexual strategy is focused: you concentrate on the target, the one girl you want to seduce, and ignore the rest of them. If you succed, good, if you don't, you select your next target. But the strategy is most definitely not to be attractive to all women, so that you can select the hottest among them, as a woman would do.

      Exactly! Men need to understand that & accept it, chasing relationship is not life, it's just a part of life, if you are not blessed with a great face & great genes, then ur just going to go unnoticed by most women. Those who don't accept this fact, suffer the most. The only thing u can do is work on yourself, which will definitely make u more attractive than what u used to be.

      Just like working out can be a simple step but produce huge results, try a regular "gratitude practice". Every morning, before you get out of bed, start thinking of what you're grateful for. It may be hard at first, but soon it becomes an avalanche.

    On the positive side of things, if 90% of men are unattractive that makes the bar way lower and easier to be more attractive than most guys. If 90% of guys were attractive, working your way out of that unattractive 10% would be really difficult
    Edit: Dang everyone's really taking this the wrong way, basically what I'm saying is there's less competition right now, so you can probably get away with a little bit more than if the competition was higher. If 90% of guys were 8-10, being successful as a 5-7 would be pretty tough, but if 90% of guys are average and below, I'm guessing thats gonna make things a little bit easier.

    I mostly agree with the majority of the points explained in the video.
    a few things that i want to add to make the discussion more realistic and less allegoric:
    1) Remove from your life all the people that don't have a similar mentality to yours. I know that seems a little bit rude and brutal but if you want to reach a certain goal in your life you have to have people that goes at the same pace as you and that share the same mentality. You will face a period of extreme lonliness at the start but don't stop pushing for the best of your life.
    2) Work harder than last time. This is something that will reflect both in your social life and on your gym. If everyone works at 50% ( because we know that the majority doesn't even bother to do more than this) then you have to work at 120%. make sacrifice and try to push more than what you think it's your limit. Of course you have to be intelligent. If you fail in something push even harder. It will change your mindset.
    good luck to everyone.

      @@thenarrator1984 I disagree. You are correct in stating that much of attraction is relative. This is why in an office setting, even if all of the guys are below average, the one who sits above the rest gains most peoples attention. However, if all of the men in the office were 8s, then while the 10 would still get most of the attention, the 8s would still be seen as attractive, they just would lose the novelty factor that caused women to chase after them
      The aberration from the norm in the positive direction will always take up a disproportionate amount of the total attention, but this doesn’t mean if everyone was more attractive then it would be insignificant

Men shouldn't even try online dating, they will always be more unattractive than in the real world. men's attractiveness comes a lot from their voice and their presence thus online dating where they need to interact electronically they will always fall short.

    Great concise video with a lot of useful advice for younger men. It’s worth noting that all these points link together - if you exercise and eat well, take care of your health and your appearance then you’ll feel better about yourself and be more confident which will benefit your deep work and make you more courageous. It’s a positive feedback loop.
    Also the point on distractions is really important. There are limitless distractions in the modern world but you really have to think if you spend your prime years being distracted and not focusing on what you want to achieve in life and putting those building blocks in place then you may live to regret it. You don’t have to be constantly ‘on’ and never have any leisure time or enjoy life, but having direction and dedication to things you’re passionate about is so important. I find social media quite ironic - you can spend hours a day looking at what other people are doing with their lives instead of doing something with your own!

      Actually, the reason why we don't do anything is b/c it's easier to dream and think about an ideal actualized version of ourselves than to commit to the undertaking of becoming that person. You can always pretend you "coulda been a contender" and many people find comfort in that in and of itself.

    1/2 men are overweight in the western world
    1/5 or even less workout regularly
    1/20-1/100 take care in what they eat
    1/100 or even less take any care in what they wear or how they present themselves, beyond simple aversions.
    Even less know what they're doing with their life, even if its just putting that responsibility into your faith, just knowing that its being dealt with is something incredibly rare.
    The fact is that most men are unattractive because most don't try. Start to try, and good will follow. try to be more honest, and more healthy interactions will follow. Try to be more healthy, and weightloss and health will follow. You'll fail, and that's because neither success nor failure is the goal, but simply the act of doing. That act of doing ultimately has an end, and that end is the outcomes given, but the mean is the focus, but is not the reason to act.

I like the motives behind all these points absolutely, but i dont think we should use 'attractiveness' as this definiton to a top tier work rate. It feels true, because it is true. We forget that the true value of a man is NOT how pretty he is, but how much utility he has. The problem today, for men, is that women do NOT need their utility. So, women today are free to choose men solely based on how hot he is, since she has her own money. The problem for women is that God did not make males the pretty gender. So, ONLY about 10%, or fewer, of men are physically attractive to women, which means that 90%, or more, of women are competing for the top 10% of men.

    • @JB-pd3ir
      @JB-pd3ir 2 года назад +8

      Perhaps you are right but how do women look when they get out of shape, wear trashed out clothes, and don't bother to groom themselves? Umm, not all that great (so they are not necessarily the pretty gender either). If you really want to get down to it the human form is really not all that attractive compared to many animals (think of a beautiful cat or dog, a bird). There are so many creatures more beautiful in form than humans.
      The beauty of humans I believe should be on the internal more than the external. That said the tips this man mentioned in the video would make the average person much more attractive (male or female). It is good to take care of one's self (more so if you married as you are not only considering yourself but your partner) and if part of that makes you healthy and focused which assists in doing important things in this world than that is great.

      @Unknown the crux is the average women still want the hottest guy.
      And they get to hookup with them regularly through dating apps . And they start to believe that they are hot too and they set the bar high.
      But all this man wanted is an easy nut and she means nothing.
      Most women don’t understand that men categorize women in fun girls and long term. Sadly the Ratio of fun to long term is getting ridiculous.

    • @indrajeet
      @indrajeet 2 года назад

      Not quite.
      Most women aren't attractive either (physically and mentally). Its just that......women use this thing called make up to looks max....society of the last 40 years has coddled them with the "your're a queen" feel goood koolaid and of course...social media, feminism and the so called "body positivity" movement...has gaslit women even more - hence why a women can call a man short, fat, bald, out of shape e.t.c. - but call her fat and she looses her mind!
      Its funny how an unattractive women (2/10) is quick to agree!
      Add to this hypergamy - and you have the absolute garbage state of western dating..........
      And of course, over the last 50 years, most men have been conditioned in the west - to not have standards, many have been porn addicted, and due to hypergamy - a large section of men have little success with women!
      Also, teaching Men to do all this effort - simply for female validation, is a whole new level simpitry. Do it, first and foremost - for you!
      Also, regarding women having their own money!!! - if you were to poll a large section of women and ask "would you go 50/50 on a first date" - you''ll get your answer. You see, the vast majority of men aren't interested in a women's money, its women that value men for resources. rRegardless of how "successful" a women thinks she is, most of them still expect traditional dating (despite not being tradition...for the best part of 50 years!) behaviour from men!
      They expect us to pay for dates, arrange dates, make the first move - put the lion share of the wedding cost (a waste of money so she can flex in front of a bunch of people she doesn't like") and of course the lion share of the mortgage and household costs.
      So no, women may not need our utility....but they certainly want it, that too from a man that at least 25%-50% higher in income than her. The problem is......these high calibre men have......options!
      Incidentally, men are the majority tax payers while women are the majority net welfare receivers - so yes, a women gets her money from a man - whether its welfare, child support, alimony, daddy, or sugar daddy!
      Remember....women date up, men sleep down!

    btw when you deadlift you should keep from looking up. Keep your spine straight as to prevent injury and help focus the distribution of weight. Also, for folks reading including CS - highly rec you look into biomechanics and the benefits of leaving straight bar anything behind. Dumbbells and cable machines allow for more natural joint movement and translate directly to less injury Check out Eugene Teo as a good source of information on the matter.

    Week 4 of consistently going to the gym and I already some minor results and let's not forget the mindset shift. Like hey, you may be far off from looking like some of the more buff dudes in the gym, but just by simply being in the gym 4-6 days a week, you're doing better than the majority of people.

    A few tips fellas. These are easy.
    1. If you live in the southern US wear Jeans and cowboy boots. You’re instantly a cowboy and 2 inches taller. Ladies love it.
    2. If you’re slim wear an under shirt it’ll make you look bigger than you are - v necks on the undershirts pull the front down. You want none of the undershirt showing in neck area.
    3. Get your hair right. If you’re a high and tight you really can’t afford more than 3 weeks between cuts, if you are blessed with long hair don’t let it get ratty / dreads unless that’s your thing. Some people can pull it off.
    4. Get your money right. You should be the hardest working person in every room and if you are undervalued look elsewhere.
    5. Clean your car before the date.
    6. Everyone is cooler with ray bans
    7. The rest is on you I don’t know your style - figure it out

    Just 10 weeks ago I hired a personal trainer for the first time in my life. Now at 31 years old I am absolutely seeing the benefits, it is truly amazing and anyone who can afford a trainer should get one asap. I hit the gym at 5am 3x a week for heavy strength training and it has become my favorite parts of those days.
    My fitness and my style have always been my weaknesses, I have always been a badly dressed Dad bod. But I have never struggled to attract high quality women. This is how I know that these changes are genuinely for me and not for women, I want to look in the mirror and admire my physique, purely giving into my vanity without shame.

    I’m in college and I was just there for some time for “something else”. That got delayed a bit and I’m stuck with very average classmates, well almost everyone around me.
    My own mentality is deteriorating just because I’m just binding myself with them. It’s painful, because during exams, I try to preplan etc but they don’t think the same and so on. My situation might be weird or incongruous but the situation is “im getting degraded just being around them for my use.” It’s like a never ending nightmare.
    Daily I beat myself up mentally, I have gotten weaker and weaker and soft, I can’t Look at myself confidently in thr mirror. I’m just Waiting for the remaining exams to end and end this suffering.
    Please. Somebody help me, Guide me what should I do. It’s like I’m down tuning myself to fit them. I feel suffocated, when i was new to college I loved it, one semester later and I abhor everything, it’s poisonous here and I’m not saying it vaguely.
    Idk why I have become so much dependent and insecure. It’s ruining me, I can’t even kill myself ( i don’t want to be that ). Help me, I beg you

      Hmm, from reading this, i think that you are craving for people around you that have some big goal in their life and want to reach higher and the people around u just don't have that focus but u don't wanna be like them. Just know that whatever has happened is in the past now, don't forget it and learn from it, and congratulations u now can literally start a new life! Surely, what u want cannot be achieved in a day or two, but what u gotta do is that make a goal list everyday , the bad habits that you wanna leave and things u wanna add to ur life. But the goal should only be a little bit challenging and not too easy or too hard. Start doing this everday, even if the improvement is very little. Get the ball rolling. Also, no need to tell you're plans to ur friends. Keep it private. Also consume information available consciously (like RUclips, insta, porn etc) because u r what u consume. Start small, you'll get where u wanna be. Oh also this was useful for me,
      "Compare yourself to the you from yesterday". Don't compare yourself to mega successful people and i am guilty of that lol. Hope u do well and prosper❤️

      @@DramaPlot thankyou very much. Everything you said is right. Also I would consume from YT, and I abstain from PMO as much as I can. I need to become powerful to protect my loved ones. My father is the prime example of “rags to riches” for Me.
      For me, a very peculiar reason turned into a big thing ( step by step) which was being dependent on others for notes, even tho I’m better than them. I have to improve, I need to get better mentally especially.
      Thank you and I wish the best for you too ❤️

    90% of Men are relatively broke! … I’ve been salivating about working in one of my favorite movie quotes, so here goes: Captain Sinbad, you’re a damn good RUclips video creator: “But that’s just the half of it; Human Nature is the other half, and it’s going to take the rest of your life to learn it, so you better not trust anyone until you do” - Brian Keith as Jonas Cord to Steve McQueen as Max Sand in “Nevada Smith”

    "I don't know if this is true, but it instinctively feels true." Sums up why society is going down the toilet. If you're a superficial person you will absolutely love this way of thinking. You don't want to bother with examining things, the appearance is what matters.
