Kellen is a cutie. His mom did a very unselfish thing, knowing she wasn't in a good place to raise him, that is very brave. It is a very brave and unselfish thing you all are doing as well. I am a foster parent. I have watched children grieve for their families for years. I have been blessed to adopt 3 of my numerous children who have come through my home. God put these children in my path for more reasons than I can count, and for that, I'm eternally grateful. GOD bless you both for taking in Kellem. Inhad a injury over 20 years ago and after years of chiropractic visits and physical therapy ended up having surgery and a cervical fusion on the 14. After years of issues yes the surgery was much needed. Not saying you’re ever going to need it but just praying for covering when you have to to the heavy chores on your homestead. But please be careful lifting things with your neck issues. Inhad a injury over 20 years ago and after years of chiropractic visits and physical therapy ended up having surgery and a cervical fusion on the 14. After years of issues yes the surgery was much needed. Not saying you’re ever going to need it but just praying for covering when you have to to the heavy chores on your homestead. We witnessed the pure love for a valued and respected friend when Parker and Kellen hugged at the airport. I loved watching Kellen play in the snow with Parker. i haven't finished watching the video yet, but as I listen to your story of Kellen my screen keeps going blurry. God bless you for taking on this great story, and God bless the Mom for doing the hardest thing on earth that she has probably ever had to do, and regardless of what leads one to make these decisions, hers was obviously the most responsible one a Mom could make for her son, God bless her as he watches over her and leads her to a path that she riotously deserves as in the end, Kellen will have a great future now, be it with your family or his natrual family. Kellens mom will be in our prayers.
