I can't let you burn for this in my opinion was a reference to witches being burned to the stake. Emma also called (whispered) Apollo name when they were in the library as if she knew she was doing.

Ok, this maybe long but hear me out. I really liked this episode, especially after seeing the previous one. I think Emma's third wish has to be something about having powers. Either she wanted to be like her mom, the lady in the woods, or be able to protect her family. I think all the fairies or anyone with Norwegian blood can see ppl with these abilities. That's why they all freak out at seeing her picture, right? See Emma's not like the rest of the mothers on the island. They are regular women, Emma is not. Finally, the old lady said her third wish would come in the beyond, that's why we see her powers begin to amp up throughout the episode ending in her glowing at the end when she's on her way to the forest....I hope I'm getting this right because this show has me all turned around but I like it 😁

I agree with u about to the 3rd wish being for beyond but I also wonder how the cutting of the string has affected the wishes. Remember she was warned not to cut! But her powers are definitely growing and Cal is aware of it. But each time she uses her power it's almost as if she is is in a trance. There is also a strong connection with Emma and nature/trees. Remember where she took the pic and how captivating she looks in the pic and also in that same trance. Thats when William 1st saw her and decided to seek her out and am wondering if her baby was specifically chosen with the intention to lore her to the wild/Forrest 🤔

@@warrick3w881 When did Emma use her magical powers? This is the first time the gallery owner sees his latest addition to his gallery do you really think he is not going to be staring at it? Also it's not uncommon to stare at art in museums. William sees a gigantic photo of a naked woman in a window. Do you really think that he or any man who sees it wouldn't stare at it?

    • @warrick3w881

@@mikejones-wy5hv the burn on her hand is now healed. Remember how she looked at her hand the morning when she woke up in the cell? And we clearly saw her put her hand in the fire we even heard it sizzle.
Each time she does anything weird like placing her hand in fire without reacting, or jumping off a fire escape and gliding or floating away she always seem to be in a trance! Perfect example, the last scene when she is literally glowing blue!
As for the gallery owner we saw the close up on his face when he first saw her pic online and again when he finally uncovers it in his gallary. It's no coincidence that William just happen to pass by and look at and then had the idea to go find her and Apollo...something motivated him and it's not her naked body.
It's a show about fairies and witches...trust me there is way more going on with that pic.
As always just my opinion 😊

@@warrick3w881 She picked up the boiling tea kettle with her bare hand and didn't get burned the same way people walk bare footed over hot coals and don't burn their feet.
She did not jump off the fire escape. She went out the window, walks down a couple of levels and slides down the fire escape ladder the same way roofers and firemen do. RUclips sliding down 40ft ladder. She was glowing blue because she was leaving the island. Remember William said he searched for it but could not find it.
The gallery owner is looking at his latest edition to his gallery for the first time what is so unusual about him staring at it? People star at art in galleries all the time. There is a huge picture of a naked woman is in a window. You and I both now any man seeing that is going to stop and take a good look.
The story is about fairies and witches that Emma and Apollo encounter.
How does Emma look like a sorceress in the photo before her wishes are granted?

I don't think Emma and Apollo reunite next episode, but I do think Apollo will be sent to meet Wheels who will tell Apollo about the 'Little Norway' forest/grove Emma most likely went to.

Remember Apollo's friend gave a background about Will n he own's a home in Forest Hills. That's where Apollo is going n that's how they will bump into each other. Just a thought🤔

At 5:17 Emma was having a vision of the entity that saved that 1825 slooper ship and not a tree. The clue is that the hands were the same at the thing that saved the ship. I think that when they reveal what that creature is, I'll bet it is central to what is going on with the missing children.

To me it seems like the 1st Borns are promised from the 1825 ship that was saved.. Apollos Mom interrupted the change so it went to the next generation? Love this show ..

When emma Told Cal to leave a message for Brian she was talking about the Baby. Its seems as if she were talking about Apollos dad she would of said his Father instead of Brian because she Never met him and ususally we just don❤t refer to people parents by their names usually we would say the parents of Apollo, or Father of Apollo

I am rewatching first episode with close caption. I few things I missed during the firt watch.
In episode 1 when apollo is at the library he checks out the following book "The Other Islands of New York City" A History and Guide. It is a book about the known and lesser known Island of NY islands. This may have helped apollo find the island as well as his abilities.
When Apollo's first night, are from his childhood is shown to us young apollo is standing in front of a tub of running boiling hot water as he prepares for his bath. His father's knock at the door is what prevents him from getting in the water.
At the end of this same dream Apollo wakes up saying "They're coming"

A subtle change I noticed is Emma's hair. Prior to killing the changeling her hair was always in a tight curl pattern but after it seems darker and is a kinky straight texture giving a wilder look... I wonder if that symbolizes something??

    • @luxehairbyabena8295
      @luxehairbyabena8295 10 месяцев назад +2

I think it only symbolizes her idgaf attitude. If you notice, she never changes her clothes either. She’s hell bent on finding her son. That’s all she cares about. Her overalls had spots of blood on it and she never changes. To me, it’s on purpose to show that she’s not concerned about her looks

I feel there is supernatural and post part I’m depression. She has to go back to work too soon . Just like Apollo’s mom .

Hmm…I didn’t get the same interpretation as you did. Emma made a comment that if she doesn’t return to get the book to Baby Brian because Apollo never got around to reading it to him. We know from a prior episode (maybe Ep . 3) Apollo tells his Mom that he never read the book to baby Brian.

When Emma hand cal the book she's talking about baby Brian not Apollos father
Emma says if baby bruan comes looking for her give him the book and tell him his father's father used to read it to him and apollo would of did the same
She says this referring to the subway dude because he didn't knew his mom and she tell him maybe he should go look for her since he can find anything
