Johann Strauss II admitted during his lifetime that it was his younger brother Josef who had the talent. This waltz proves how amazing Pepi was as a composer. This is the first time that I listen to this waltz and I have liked it a lot! I hope that I will have more opportunities to get acquainted with amazing waltzes by Josef. I think the great Pepi would smile if he could hear how you brought this piece back to life, compared to the dull Naxos recording! The tempo is much better and the waltz has gained vigor and energy. I noticed that the sound quality is noticeably worse than in the original recording, maybe it's a matter of compression applied by the program you used to modify it? I have no problems with Audacity, which I use to correct conductor's errors.
