Today, we're taking a walk through an empty house that sits on land that was sold. It will be demolished, which really bums me out. Let's go take a walk through it before it's gone. :(

You absolutely fooled me for like half the video yesterday and then I remembered it was April Fools. I was getting so sad we weren’t going to see your content anymore, glad it was a joke.
I completely forgot it was April fools until this comment and genuinely believed she was doing that 😭😭

This house is giving 70’s OG vibes and then renovated in the 90’s vibes. It’s so beautiful! It’s such a shame it will be torn down rather that restored to its former glory. Absolutely gorgeous.

It looks like the house was originally built much earlier 1950ish then was possibly renovated and the owners ran out of money/ went bankrupt and had to leave - just my guess as someone who explores abandoned buildings in my homecountry Scotland.

@@AlM-zg5jl Thats why I think it was possibly repossessed most abandoned buildings i have been to that have been repossessed are left in a horrible state with really personal items everywhere since the family have had leave quickly and possibly had things taken by the bank.
I wonder if an elderly couple lived there and they died. Their adult kids(who probably lived there in the 70 or 80s) couldn't find anyone to buy the house. So they've decided to just sell the land for redevelopment.
Beautiful place and property! What a crime to cut down these beautiful trees, honestly dislike when people do that (unless keeping the tree is dangerous), as if trees don't serve a purpose...sighs

Abandoned homes like this are so fascinating - the story of the family is still present, and then the unknown of why they left or what happened for them to leave the home is this state of their belongings still around.
That house is gorgeous!! I live in a house built in 1979 and the small details are what gives it so much charm 😊 also seeing glimpses of Glenda the good witch felt like seeing a celebrity in real life lol I know he’s a real person but seeing him was surprising 😂
@AaWa-dp4oq the guy with her in this video is her ex-husband who she still remains good friends with, she's mentioned him in a lot of videos and always refers to him as Glenda The Good Witch

Oh wow what a beautiful house. I think that would be a lot of people’s dream home, it does need a lot of work but imagine how beautiful it could be. It’s so sad 😢 they are going to demolish it. You can tell it was a home filled with many happy memories.

This place is absolutely beautiful. It’s so sad to see houses like this just left behind. Oh the stories that this house holds.
As a photographer it hurts my heart to see all those photos left behind. I love old photos. Also I wonder if the dead cardinal and dead mouse being in the same room that maybe a cat made home in that old house and it got scared off hearing you all come in. ❤ oh I would of loved to of seen the attic , seeing the little windows on top to the attic I just wonder if some treasures from the first owners left behind there along with who ever else lived there. Oh so heartbreaking to j ow it’s going to come down. I believe the large nails are railroad ties as they call them.

Such a gorgeous house and property! Reminds me of my grandpa's victorian beach house. 2 staircases and a screened in porch. He had to sell it and the new owners "promised" (not in writing) that they wouldnt tear it down but of course they did a year ago and did nothing with the lot. Such a shame to see an emtpy space where a gorgeous home used to be with so many memories
Fantastic video Mary. I love looking at these abandoned houses. It so sad to see it empty. At least the house is in decent condition. Wonder if anyone watching your video would be interested in restoring it to it's original state. The whispers actually enhance the walk through the property. So relaxing to listen to with headphones on just before bed.

I have never in my life seen such a messy home, it looks as if an earthquake hit it! When we moved out we took absolutely eveything and we left the house totally empty and sparkling clean. Beats me how someone could leave such a disaster behind… The whole house and its surroundings seem from another world, I guess the owners were rich people to afford such a … palace! So very terribly sad to hear it’s all gonna get demolished! Why don’t they put it on sale instead of destroying it all…

I remember in one of your videos you pointed this house out and said how much you loved it, but that it was abandoned. It really is sad that that house had to be let go. I wonder what the backstory is did the family fall on hard times and the house was repossessed so sad it nearly broke my heart when you showed the picture of that little girl and the baby.

This was amazing!! I'm watching all the way from Plymouth, UK and honestly we don't have houses like this over here. I travelled to America a couple years ago and we did a road trip from New York to Memphis and back again, hitting loads of places on the way down. This house gave me Graceland vibes 🥰

As a kid, we lived in a big old Victorian house for a few years. That second, narrow, staircase that came out by the kitchen was for servants back in the day.

Your April Fools video totally got me. I knew it was 4/1, but started watching & was like, what is going on with Mary?? An asmr mall?! This is kinda depressing. What is she thinking?? Then I laughed to myself 😅😅
I don’t know if the mall thing was a joke but def sell it. My dad works at a developing company and he no longer buys malls or rents them out because online shopping is taking over. If you can’t sell it consider restaurants instead, not retail, there’s not as much profit.
