Honestly I think merciless would’ve made this challenge interesting in a different way because with the triple crit damage it makes it SO MUCH HARDER to obtain personas because you end up killing them, and with you not being able to use the velvet room it makes that fact a lot harder than you think.
35:15 also holy shit you crazy for that one 🤣
yeah merciless you also deal less damage if not weak or critical as well
33:10 You had me for a second when you said "garbage" and showed Kasumi's confidant 😂
The first 5 ranks are pretty lame.... I don’t really think it was a good idea to make her have those before third semester. It’s boring, inconclusive and suspicious.
I only enjoyed the small touch about Kasumi being terrible at cooking but she gets really good at that after that event.

About the Sae Confidant:
No, you do not obtain any of the perks until after the interrogation is done. It does not harm the storytelling in any way
But you DO get the fusion xp boost? I don't really remember but i think you do
I’m almost certain that once I went to fuse a Judgement Persona before Sae’s Palace and noticed fake Igor mention I didn’t have a confidant with that Arcana, so as far as I remember you don’t get the xp until the whole confidant is done
@@Amsel_616 No, you don't. You get absolutely nothing from the judgement arcana until the plot picks back up from the past and into the present. So he's complaining about a problem that doesn't exist.
For the judgement arcana, it provides no gameplay benefits, not even a boost to fusing judgement personas, until you reach rank 10. So it actually doesn't affect the flashback.
"Then she's picked up by her uber driver. The we meet Ryuji who apparently doesn't like that uber driver."

Kamoshida was the really the only villain that actually opposed Joker. All the other villains/story only existed because someone wouldn't shut up (Ryuji) and keep things low-key. Apart from the first palace, I really didn't care about the rest.
Kind of funny that a group called the Phantom Thieves are not really phantom at all.
44:20 something I wanna point out is that, if I remember correctly, you can't actually benefit from the judgement confidant until AFTER the en medias res is over, with no bonus to arcana burst when fusing a judgement persona until that point in time.
I love the idea that nyarly’s narration is joker recounting the story to sae
The Judgement confidant doesn't actually do anything until you get back to the present; you don't get any bonuses until that point.
Why does everyone hate morgana honestly. I mean, the okumura pre arc is stupid but other than that I never found him irritating. Plus, he was by far the strongest party member I had besides joker in my first playthrough, he did the most damage, had the best healing skills and a decent buff skill. He was used the most.
What kinda morgana did you have? This mf could barely tap the enemy, let alone do the most damage excluding joker.
