and it had the typical faulty electric closing door mechanism (amongst all the other electrical issues), but the wizard thinks he can fix it only for $25000, mercedes wants $75000 m and the leds only $135 each, need 74 of them

george fotopoulos the Maybach was not a very reliable car. It has a horrible reputation amongst MB fans. Don't buy one used and don't own one out of warranty.

Rolls Royce intentionally try to make their cars look simple. I think minimalism, to an extent, makes things feel more luxury. Despite the S-Class being really advanced, I can't say that all the screens in the new model give it a more premium feel.

I love it. I'd much rather have one of these in all black, so that it looks like an S class but almost has the comfort of a RR without the statement.
Finally a car with active noise cancellation - such an obvious feature that hasn't been done before

Rear quarter pinstripe doesn't line up with the rear door and filler flap pinstripe is pissed as well. Rolls Royce or Bentley wouldn't let something that obvious go.
Now I have started to love this exterior design after seeing many times.
The front looks good. But rear end looks a bit like a a class which is what I don't like. Anyways , it will be impossible to buy a brand new s class for me.
The car was so gorgeous that I even let the Yanni mention slide and gave this a thumbs up.

Im so happy that in these fuel conscious times, Mercedes had the courage to retain the V12 engine, albeit only on the Maybach and not the AMG S65, but still, bravo Mercedes 👏🏼
I still think they could be excused for keeping the V12 S65 when it cost $235K and they built only a few hundred each year, but its heft couldn't keep up with others and they probably also wanted to differentiate the Maybachs. Room for both I say!

I love how Mercedes always pushed the envelope forward with every release of a new S-class
This is the ugliest iteration of the S class yet and rivals the hideous 2000-2007 model. The gauge cluster is just stuck on and not integrated into the dash...it looks like an a class. It’s just horrible. The exterior is basic, unrefined and ugly.

I still remember the first time when Maybach appeared into the Market. I have some photos from one of my friends one. He paid 1,2 million Euro for it, being unique. And remember all the silver placate with his name on... extravagant car.

The Maybach will be truly engineered excellence. Rolls and bently rely on their name and the veneer of luxury to get by but much of their stuff is just taken from their German owners’ parts bins. Mercedes uses the Maybach brand as their halo project(s) for the entire Daimler brand. Without a doubt the best made cars on the planet
@@abingdonboy your point is right Bentley and rolls Royce do eat of their brand names but the part which you said that their stuff are just taken off from german parts bins I don't think that so coz yaa underneath they both are the A8 and 7 series but they are heavily worked from the suspension and engines to the materials they use and its very close to a whole different car yaa their technology is way to similar to their sister brands and I agree that they should have been more individualized but other than that they are a whole new vehicle but I will say that Mercedes is the game changer they introduce those technologies that rae unheard off in the market and that's why I love them

In my opinion this new regulations shouldn't affect this kind of car, because how many of this cars you can find in your country? I'm sure that less than 0.00005 of the population can afford this car, which results in around 1 Maybach of each 1.000.000 of normal cars, and you wanna know a thing? I'm sure that those 1 million cars, even if they are electric, pollutes more than 1 Maybach.
