Thank you, thank you, thank you! After trying plungers, butter knives, cheese knives, and attempting to push the stopper up from underneath the sink, this did the trick and was by far the least labor-intensive method. You are officially a hero. 🎉

One of my favorite knots. I've always thought of it as a clove hitch tied under a round turn, or a round turn riding on the crossing of a clove hitch. One of my go to uses is as a temporary whipping when cutting rope. Often I would tie two knots, an inch or so apart, and make the cut between. Your content is useful as always. If you get a chance, maybe show folks how to tie the same knot when you aren't able to slip it over the end of the object?
We tried everything, including a plunger to get our sink stopper up after I somehow wedged it in. I started with this video, but it wasn’t working for me because my string kept going down the cup. I ditched the cup and went just with the string, and spoon instead. The spoon was a silver serving spoon, but not one you would cook in a pot with. Worked like a charm without the cup. I still twisted the spoon around and the rope got tighter and tighter. I just had to make sure it stayed on the stopper which it did. One annoyance down. Thank you for the video and by the way, I did say a little prayer that it would work I think that always helps.
Oh my gosh, this worked great! My Elkay sink has a strainer/disposer cover combo that got stuck. So it looks different than the one in your video (smaller area to grab) but your knot still did the trick. Thank you SO much! My husband was laughing at me but it worked! Thanks a million.
This fool and his high quality videos are really urging me to buy a bunch of Paracord and become a Paracord geek!😩 This guy makes it all look too easy and fun.
This was an awesome video! My problem is it's not the same thing that's stuck on mine. So my kids dropped a baby cup down the sink/ garbage disposal and my husband CUT the black rubber thing in the sink to get the cup out. (His hand was too big to grab it) now the strainer type plug is wedged in th sink! I can't get it out
Hey buddy what do you think is the best exploding knot that you can "keep your tension with" is? Maybe something like the Farrimond Friction Hitch? I want fast simple exploding hitch that tension can be pulled into to the standing end with. Thanks
@Clarence. HaHa! It's obvious the purpose of the tumbler went too far over your head for you to comprehend. Just because you don't understand, it doesn't make something bogus. Sometimes it's better to use what brain you have to figure something out, than to criticize.
Ok, at some point, you're not allowed to call yourself an "amateur" anymore. So full of great information!
Word! 😂

Always enjoy your knots. Can't say I've ever had a stuck stopper but if i do, I now have a solution

So glad it helped. Thanks for sharing that
Love these problem solving videos
These videos are actually useful even though the videos purpose is not useful. Great content much enjoyed
This is an amazing way to tie a quick constrictor knot! Thank you very much!

I don’t even use a sink stopper but I still needed to watch this lol 🤯
I need to know how you got the stopper stuck in the first place

Not had that problem yet, but I enjoyed the solution 👌
I liked your technique. However, my stopper turned upside down and is stuck to where I have no leverage to pull it up. Any suggestions?
Cool… can you do a video on surgeon’s knot and knots used in sutures
literal lifesaver ❤
Any advice if the stopper is stuck in the sink upside down 🤦♂️

You could pull that up with your hand what happens if there’s nothing to wrap around and just completely flat
I'm here from another vid lol.
I like to use my hand to pull the plug out but you do you
I just use my fingers to pull the stopper, but this works also...
2:15 - my hopes and dreams nooo…
Just can’t make it work. Husband used the plastic disposal stopper on the wrong side of the dual sink and it is stuck good.
You can also try prying it out with a large serving spoon
I saw the thumbnail and thought, ok he’s gunna use the cup as a suction cup, and the spoon will pry it out.
How wrong was i
AHA! The old cup and spoon trick! 😵(?¿‽)
Why did they give you that 'objectionable' flag in your description?
or just remove it with your hand
Wow
If your an amateur then, what does it make us?👶🤣😂
👍🏻🇨🇦
Scenario is bogus. Why not just twist the tumbler.
Probably cuz it needs to stay open at the bottom.

BRO.
please no more videos that show using cords with frayed ends.
Preach!
