I've been waiting years to play this game, absolutely nothing will stop me from playing it... unless it crashes of course. The first game is top 5 all time for me.
never played the first but saw some gameplay. What about it makes it top 5?
@@nxtx_xx1739 The entire experience from start to finish is an immersion masterclass. The audio especially is top tier ridiculously good. It is really hard to explain without experiencing it for yourself. Luckily the first game is really cheap and you should try it.
Why is Hellblade 1 in ur top 5? I definitely loved it. So no shade being thrown here with this question

I think your right and it's like Alan Wake 2 or Cyberpunk when you turn on all the bells and whistles, it runs at 30 frames a second. But when you trun on DLSS or FSR it jumps to 60 and above.
Already running 7900x and 7900xtx, So can't wait.

Just when I think it’s a good time to upgrade my PC, I see something like this that proves that even the 4000 series isn’t worth it. Looks like I’ll be waiting for the 5 or 6000 series.
i have rx 7800 xt but will upgrade when nvidia 6000 series comes out for witcher 4 and cyberpunk 2
Just recently bought a RTX 4060 TI with 16 GB VRAM to run Generative AI models on in (LLM and Stable-Diffusion), since for full speed LLMs the AI model need to be fully loaded into VRAM and you need VRAM for high resolution AI images. Comes in handy that I can play this game with max settings too. :) Shows how the times are changing when gaming is not the primary aspect defining the specs of the card you buy but running Generative AI on it.
This is going to look beautiful on my PC. I can't wait!

I've been replaying the first one on Switch so that I'm even more impressed by the sequel on my PC.

My pc is a 3080ti, i9-11900k, 64gb of system ram, 2TB M.2 SSD Gen 4. I wonder if it will do High at 4K.
I will not have problem to run it at max settings but this is not really demanding for what it offers (graphically)
Never really looked into System Requirements. Just wait til it comes out and review DF, BenchmarKing and all the other RUclips channels that do quick hardware comparisons and then decide to buy or not.
It's similar to hardware, I could see the number of cores, ghz, timings that something has but doesn't always convert to real world performance, the architecture and how those specs are used are more important. Review the benchmarks, make your decision then.
These requirements seem similar to Forbidden West and I believe on mid range hardware it runs well. Though that's from Nixxes and Sony whose been hitting it out of the park with PC versions. Not sure whose porting Hellblade 2 or it's Ninja Theory themselves.
Think you nailed it with 'Hellblade 1.5' for gameplay. I'm expecting an evolution on, not something radically different from the first. It's going to be divisive again and that's as it should be for a game aiming for the things Ninja Theory are with this series.
The "red flag", I get it also. I'm thinking this will be more of a cinematic, interactive, type. Not much combat, but a lot of damn good looking interactive cut scenes. They just will not show or tell this, for fear of any hype built will burn away. Maybe this is just skeptic typing.
I don't really understand why there is so much speculation about the nature of the game. It's a direct sequel and it will play very similar.
I know that some people want it to be a God of War competitor but that's just not what it is. It is an intimate, story focused experience.

Luke, I Just subscribed... game is pre-ordered.. I retired 2 years ago and just spent a chunk of my 401k on my home theater and gaming PC... I have a very capable PC with a ASUS Strix 4090 OC. I just installed my new JVC RS3100 Laser Projector on a 150" Screen, the projector can input a true 8k signal and output 8k/60 and 4k/120... it also has 8k upscaling (will upscale the 4k)... Dolby Atmos Running through Marantz 8015... If this game looks as good as you say, I think my head may Explode!!

I'll be curious to see how many more years I can get out of my 3070 with all these Unreal games on the horizon.
Thank christ I upgraded to an RX 7900 GRE, gonna run nicely on my 1440p Ultrawide hopefully. CPU requirements are steep too, need a 5600X for 1440p High and need a 5700X for 4K High (Intel 10700K and 12600K for those requirements). This is the problem with the bleeding edge, occasionally you slip and amputate your feet :P
Bro, i have a RTX 4060 Ryzen 7. This is over its limit. Hope the game look good at medium settings 30 fps. Cant wait!

Kinda agree but my Classic Car hobby makes my 1800$ pc (which would need a better card to run max) Pennies to some of my parts that are limited and not being remade…. Times are changing start asking for what you think you’re worth

If I were you I would wait before upgrading, Nvidia will be releasing new GPUs at the end of this year, so you'd be better off buying a 5090^^

hey i just read that SS and skull and bones are respectively 6. and 9. by cumulative revenue in q1 2024...it seems like these two games made more money than final fantasy 7 rebirth...let that sink in...
im sad to see that nobody's excited for the auditory magic these devs are going to pull. first one had some of the craziest sounds designs ive seen in a game
I fully understand people could be upset at how demanding the game will be, fuck Im only on a ryzen 5 3600 and a 3070ti (realllllly need to upgrade my cpu). But that being said, Im perfectly ok with games going in this direction as long as its optimized well. Games these days look half as good as hell blade 2, and get AWFUL fps issues from poor optimization. So if this game is made well and optimized well, I think even lower end pc's these days shouldnt struggle too much to have a decent experience. Im being hopeful because I LOVED the original and Im really excited for this game

Don't be silly. This will push visuals in the engine and be one of the few to have achieved such fidelity in UE5. So maybe its just heavy...will run great with DLSS and FG like every other modern game that does this.

Funny how people will say "I'm tired of seeing trailers just give me the game". Then those same people will complaint about them not advertising & marketing it. Im like why do you care? You said you were tired of seeing it. Now your issue is you don't see it enough.
the trailers give away 15% of this walking simulator 💀 given the game is only a handful of hours long

Everytime is released a news about hellblade your are "disappointed" this, the 30 fps, always talk about this and no considering about the story, senua, art style, audio and combat. Im sure at 100% hellblade 2 will be loved by everyone do the same with hellblade 1
This just prives its an incomplete, unfinished game...and clearly with these specs its not optimized well AT ALL. The games 8 hours for a 100% according to the dev
