TC mekanik I’ve been living under a toadstool. Just yes just realized who GM was at Christmas 2017 after watching video of last Christmas and then listening to his albums. Lastly watching his videos and every interview I can find. After a hugely painful GM helped me with his music and especially his wham videos that are so happy. Now, I’m an older than dirt (age70) fan that am so sad for his family, friends and business associates that he has died. I can only imagine turning on a tv as I did on cleanup from Christmas dishes,etc and to hear that this dear friend had died. GM worked with some musicians for his whole career. If I have tears now rolling down my cheeks- they must still be heartbroken. We can honor him not with flowers but contributions in his name to his charities. Blessings to all who knew him

Mate, This was an incredible night for George Michael and WELL EARNED. Gladys Knight who I admire however showed a rare lack of class and dignity with her racially motivated anger for Michaels success that evening. My problem with this is that Michael Jackson who is African American and Prince, WON a myriad of awards on this format a couple of years prior. Suddenly a Caucasian man wins and a number of folks lost their water and played the toxic race card. The truth of the matter is that the reaction to Michaels win most certainly had negative r@cial overtones that were completely uncalled for. Fortunately the dissenters were out numbered by the more mature, intelligent and color blind music goers who understand that music regardless of genre is universal and should not be handcuffed by toxic man-made barriers.
