If we even think about giving United a leg up after they've spent the last decade trying to stitch us up, they are behind FFP and this current sham. NO. NEVER. Great win today on we go thanks Cheesy great vlog 👍💙
United's egregious display of "that banner" for so many years, whilst hoovering up silverware, has burnt their bridges for any favours forever. To feel the need to snigger at City's misfortune whilst having regular success = fouling your own doorstep.
Bloke at the start...spot on. Nunes is miles away from our level. Laughable praise in that game he got MOTM...literally the most undeserved game award in years. He's windy too, and likes to throw his arms up in consternation. Stands still and watches most of the time. Watch a game back and watch him, you'll see. Staggering team selection today, even more bizarre that we ended the game with our first XI. Crazy. Pick your strongest side and change it when we've won the game. Our first XI is a Rolls-Royce.
Nunes was awful today but he was good against Burnley. First season he has to adapt. Kovatic has settled in much better. Gvardiol has struggled as well.
Fair play to Everton today. The media are saying we played badly, but their defence was brilliant 1st half. It was only when that player went off injured, that Pep's eyes lit & made changes. C'mon City 🩵
Can tell you right now, Nunes will be great for City. How people are judging him already after years and years of “year 1 City struggles” is insane. His pace is electric, his dribbling is fantastic. He lacks some of the decision making in the final third, as well as some of the movements of City aren’t quite natural to him yet. But he’s got great talent and will come good. Everyone in squad speaks highly of him, he’ll bide his team and you’ll see the best of him in coming seasons.
Just catching up with your vlog after working all weekend, brilliant vlog as ever Ian and seen your appearance on TNT sports 😎 Ground share with them lot 🤣 we done them enough favours in the past our neighbours, let them ground share in London where the majority of their fan base are from 😅 Good 3 points yesterday great to see Haaland back scoring, just need to keep going getting to the crucial stage of the season now. As ever it's great to be a Blue, I'll have to get that T shirt Ian 😎💙
Well done Ian. Hard going today and excluding Everton’s horrible spoiling tactics, they actually defended really well, I didn’t think we were going to score. We looked unbalanced, Phil should have been in the middle, especially with KDB’s absence. The substitutions changed the game, they all had an impact. Vital win when nowhere near our best, as for the rags sharing our ground? Never in a million years.
A frustrating game for the most part .... Evertons intention and approach was never to add to the games entertainment from the start, and even though they generally defended well, they got exactly what they deserved in the end ... nothing! Even though he had put Dokus earlier cross over the bar, Haaland couldnt really get into the game until he lashed the ball past Pickford on 71 minutes, and following that you see the confidence flowing back to his game as he burst through to stroke home that second goal .... it was another three points gratefully accepted, but over the 90 minutes it was a tough watch.
Don't think the Rags have ever thanked us for allowing them to use Maine Road. Also, I'm pretty sure they still didn't give us gate money? Should we do it this time? How about on our terms and conditions and make it hard for them.We can just see it now, the only time it was full when United played there.
A good vlog yet again Ian, I tend to agree with the last guy you interviewed, I'm struggling to see what Nunez is bringing to City, he seems to dither too much on the ball and never seems to pick the right option, but I'll give the lad a break with it being his first season, but compared to Doku going down the left and twisting and turning and having a go, they seem light years apart, but we'll see what happens. Cheers Ian have a safe trip to Copenhagen.
Well the year of the dragon didn't arrive with a bang but with a cagey and canny performance from us In my opinion. I felt we tried to play with high control and passing rather than all out attack. To me it was a typical pre-Champions League match, with a more planned, less energetic route to the points. I also think Everton's performance, while timid up front, was strong in it's pressing and formation, and held us at the edge of their penalty area most of the first half. I thought they did well trying to be fair. Second half I felt was very similar but with slightly more movement and therefore penetration. With the changes in personnel came that bit more creativity and when the City dragon took a claw hold in the game, we looked like running out with the points. The second Viking goal sealed those 3 points and the deflation of the challengers ensued. All in all an awkward game but great in many ways for the big away game on Tuesday, when we will need quite a bit more of everything we usually conjure up. Great opinions from the fans and yourself Ian and thanks again to you for these mini documentaries'. It was really great to see Asa giving his view's too, a player I always admired in the Blue of City back in the day. Well 15 stepping stones to go, one step at a time. On to the next one 💙.
Nunes is class and needs that one season to bed in like most of the players who play under Pep. It would be hard for any midfielder to come to City and shine straight away when we have KDB, Rodri, Bernardo and Phil performing to such high standards, we need to give the guy a chance. I remember loads of City fans doubting David Silva when he first came to City and look what happened there, also lately the same can be said for Ake, he's arguably our most consistent defender now.
How come KDB is the only player willing to play those cutting edge passes? What do these players learn in training? KDB will attempt it, it's not always guaranteed, but at least he's always willing to take those chances
another 3 points against a dogged team , who could get relegated this season , and united are not welcome at the Etihad , Ground share , dont make me laugh , no chance , CTID
No one is talking about Nathan Ake’s hard work and contribution to that second goal. He’s phenomenal
Personally I begrudge sharing the same air as them never mind our ground. Lovely to see Asa, my favourite player from back in the day 💙
Agreed. Once past that swamp dump on the train and was desperately trying not to breath.
😂
Let them play at Wembley be closer for their home support
If we even think about giving United a leg up after they've spent the last decade trying to stitch us up, they are behind FFP and this current sham. NO. NEVER. Great win today on we go thanks Cheesy great vlog 👍💙
Couldn't agree more!
Exactly
Ground share, they spend most of their time trying to get us thrown out of the league and people think we should possibly ground share. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
United's egregious display of "that banner" for so many years, whilst hoovering up silverware, has burnt their bridges for any favours forever.
To feel the need to snigger at City's misfortune whilst having regular success = fouling your own doorstep.
Brilliantly put
👏👏
Good to see Ace!
I'll tell what would happen to the stadium if we shared it would be vandalised by the rags.
Definitely NO!
Good point
That was my first thought. As someone in the video said, City don't owe United anything.
Yes they would spray dirty red paint everywhere.
Yet another wonderful video Ian Thank you. How lovely to see my old Maine rd idol ASA at City. Great to be a blue indeed !
Wish I had aged as well as Asa, he looks like he could still do a job in our midfield
Doesn't he look good.
Haaland scoring is so important for us
Top stuff as always Ian.
Don't let the rags play at city's home ground
That would be horrible. It's can't be allowed. Bolton have a good stadium & could do with the revenue.
A diabolical idea. Just so the media can boast about the Wembley of the north.
Let the rags play at Slough Town to cater for their core fan base they have from down there.
@@2239julesLet them play at wembley like spurs did
Thanks as always Cheesy, for all you do. Love your blogs and podcasts 🩵
Thanks so much!
Thank you Cheese!

Nunes was poor today.
Nunes was awful today but he was good against Burnley. First season he has to adapt. Kovatic has settled in much better. Gvardiol has struggled as well.
Nunes, man of the match??? i take it you're 'avin a larf!
@barryh.4220 he means man of match against Burnley "that game"Against Everton he was awful.
@@michellemaggs75 Aaah right Michelle, thanks .... i misread it!

😊 Many thanks from Massachusetts…thanks for the wonderful conversation and coverage..!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Unreal player
I was at the game cheesey. Everton were diabolical to watch and time wasted from the off!! Will take the result and Haaland is just a beast. MCFC OK
Brilliant vlog as always Ian wishing you and yours all the best from Dublin Ireland 🇮🇪
NOT OUR BEST BUT ANOTHER WIN IM HAPPY HAALAND A BEAST
Surely they won't want to play at our council house?? Dont call me shirley!!
United should share with Salford if they want to stay local.

Salford dolphins 🐬 can ground share with their close rivals on mersysnide
Come on city win every game between now and end of season
let Utd share with Arsenal, that's were all their support is

Give the lad time and support the whole team
If that happens, we'll never get rid of the stink 🤢
Good win move on to next game
Understand squad rotation , in imho some players were unsure what their jobs were in the first half , second half much better . CTID

Hi Ian. All the best Pal.
Great 3 points... The blues go marching on.
"This is Our City. This is Our Home" Can you imagine the Red fans getting off the Tram seeing that.😂 Ground sharing could never happen

Very true
Nooooo! We want no devils sharing our ground
We’ve shown them charity twice. During the war and then when they had no floodlights,
An important 3 points and great to see Erling back scoring again.....
No to yoonited sharing with city.
Never ever. Can't allow such a crime.
If that grotesque lot play at our home the stadium would need the Catholic church to bless the place with holy water.
One of those guys looked and sounded like Buzzer Summerbee - is he related?
Play at Salford neville will let them
How come KDB is the only player willing to play those cutting edge passes? What do these players learn in training? KDB will attempt it, it's not always guaranteed, but at least he's always willing to take those chances
