- In this video I show how simple it is to replace your fog light bulbs with yellow LED's! Huge thanks goes out to Calais for sending these bulbs out for test and review! Check them out here: www.amazon.com...

This video helped me so much for my hyundai elantra gt for sure. My biggest issue was the old gasket from the oem bulbs stuck onto the hole, so I would recommend checking the old bulb for the gasket to save you some time. Took me honestly 30 minutes to find this out sadly after struggling for ages unsure of why it wasn't locking in place. 😂
I have a 2017 Elantra....my eyes are WIDE OPEN after seeing your vids. Thanks for the ideas!
When a person has NEVER done this before, it would have been nice to see WHERE exactly is the bulb is. Female here and I need all the help I can get! LOL!
I realize it's quite randomly asking but does anybody know of a good site to stream newly released movies online?
Great video saved me money I’ll go with hid fogs.
brandon wright hids are good but will burn the tint if you plan on going that route.
Great video man, you have help me and my son out
Glad I could help!
Thanks man your video May changing it real simple appreciate it
Did you convert your headlights
Thanks! Needed to know how to get into the compartment to make a repair. Easiest explanation yet.
Robin Long I appreciate the feedback!
Thank you and feel better my friend.
Hey man! Just wondering if your fogs are tinted hello or did you replace them with different fogs in general? I tried a tinted film and completely failed. lol Thanks in advance!
+Luis Quintero Mine are tinted with vinyl in addition to the yellow LED bulbs. Sorry for the late reply. Some comments do slip through...
Justin Kelly thank you! And no problem. Do you have a link for the vinyl ones you like? I purchased some before and they weren't very good quality.

Justin Kelly thanks so much!
Do you have a video on your headlights upgrade? I have a 2011 and am not sure to use HID or LED. Yours look great. What brand did you use on your headlights?
bigfootwalker306 Yes I have a video where I install my Kensun 55W HID kit.
Hey, nice video
The LEDs that you installed had no can bus canceller, so the question is, to you see any light on the dashboard that says that you have burnt light?
I bought some LEDs with can bus cancellers and if it doesn't need them I will cut them out and put the bulbs directly. Because the canceller all that it does is consume more power with a resistor inside that heats up...
No issues with a light on the dash. As far as I am aware, the fog lights on this car are not part of the canbus system to alert the driver of a bulb out.
@@JustinKelly yes I believe it's only the ones inside the projector...
I'm going to install everything in a few days and I will post the results for the canbus
Cheers
Keep it up man. I enjoy your videos, can't wait till you get some rims 🙆♂️🙆♂️🙆♂️
Thanks man! Rims?! Have you watched my other videos? Got some Enkei Kojins going on this summer but have had Miata NC wheels last summer. Got that covered :)
I've got a 2017 Accent CRDI and was wondering if replacing my fog bulbs would roughly be the same as what you did on the vid.
+allan ramirez Im sure the process is very similar.
Nice video dude..have u seen the fog lights with led strip from eBay they look really nice
Manuel Bravo Yeah the OEM fog lights from overseas? I like them but heard they take a lot of work to fit in.
Hey! I've been having trouble getting the old halogen bulb out of the socket. It seems to be in the fog light housing pretty good and can't twist it out. Do you have any suggestions on how to get it out? Thanks
Need help. Both of my fog lights stopped working . So I bought a new lights to be sure.
But it still not working. I checked the fuse and relay. They are both okay.
Hyundai veloster 2016 non turbo
How long did it take to get the original bulbs out of there? And how? I have a 2014 Elantra GT and they’re a pain in the ass.
Shouldn't take too long if you take the bottom plastic panel off. Maybe 15 minutes per side at the most if you just want to replace them.
Have you try putting LED lights the one that has the little fan on it? I bought em to put em in my 2014 and they didn’t fit it seems to be hitting in the housing of the fog light, did you ever try this type of LEDs?
Not in the fog lights
Look amazing brother and keep them in your car. Should take yellow tint off foglighs get a better idea what it Look like. Because have in mind honda civic si got LEDs all those mind car inside and out of of it
So you can swap these from halogen to LED and you wont have issues with it? I previously did swap some like this and had a ton of problems.
Yes you can do so without issue on this car.
@@JustinKelly thanks man. I am hearing that the navigation and computer stuff in Hyundai hates change. I'm going to straight swap out just halogens for now then might test LEDs later
Nice tutorial man
Speedaholics Easy but I thought I'd make a video anyway :)
I wonder if you would have removed the yellow tint from the fog light and just used a yellow led bulb if that would have made a difference in output?
Probably slightly
@@JustinKelly do you know if the projector style headlamps would be a direct swap to the regular style? My gf just bought a 2014 Coupe and I like the projector style like you have and may swap them out for her. Thank you in advance.
@@BDBBailey I believe the coupe came with optional projector lights (I might be wrong but the sedan did for sure). The GT housings are different shape than the sedan and coupe. Not sure if the coupe and sedan are the same or not. Also not sure about wiring for them.
Hey dude have you seen the led switch back for the turn signals?
Yeah I've had them for a while now :)
Quick question...i replaced both sides but only driver side works on led...and passenger doesn't but the old bulbs do work ok both...already try bulbs on both sides but no luck..any suggestions ?
I would make sure the base is making connection inside the socket.
@@JustinKelly got it fix...the passenger bulb had to be flipped...so i had to break the tab and installed...weird but works lol...thanks man
I did the same way changing foglamp bulbs on my suv is a bit more difficult because the light position is higher
Hi, where can I buy interior White led for my Elantra gt ? I'm sure you got some in your car. Thanks!
Bill Harris Mine are from Diode Dynamics, they have a great selection. I do have a video on my channel of everything I used if your curious.
Are they bright enough to the drive on snow or fog and to be able to see
+Angel Guzman Not by themselves. They really arent very bright but enough to be visible to others and have the color.
Justin Kelly thanks
I got a situation, my fog lights only work to flash and don't stay on. Any solutions ?? btw I bought my car like that already.
Are they HID? Could be a power issue if so.
Also what camera do you use
Sony RX100II
Can u say the model no. Of hyundai sonata 2012 fog lights
the led you got is 1000 lumens only.. thats why stock bulb looks brighter..buy so.ething like 6000 lumens
Cheap LED's are never advertised accurately in terms of lumens.
Do not install replacement led bulbs with higher wattage than the stock halogen bulbs. This will cause voltage issues soon.
No LED bulb is going to be higher wattage. Most LED headlight bulbs run about 30 watts max.
@@JustinKelly 30 watts max? I think that's fine since stock halogen (head) bulbs have only 55 and 60w respectively.
@@mblegend3056 I know so you dont need to worry because I have yet to see an LED bulb with over stock power.
@@JustinKelly actually there are china led bulbs rated at 80w in the market lately
@@mblegend3056 Rated is one thing but output is another. Most exaggerate actual numbers and put the LED chips max rating to make it seem better. Sure there might be somewhere but I don't trust any cheap LED's ratings.
Why not jack the car up? I mean damn dude....
You didn't make a video for that right?
ruclips.net/video/jDGLeWi_3qw/видео.html
Did you go to Orange County community college? Lol
I did not. Never heard of it actually.
Justin Kelly the little card on your rear view mirror looks like my parking pass for school lol
@@hustlehumbly6169 I'm sure a lot of schools use the same basic design. My high school tag even looked close to the college tag.
This is H8 model
No this is 881. The bulb connector and mount is slightly different.
@@JustinKelly oh okey bro
I though they would fit perfectly
They do after cutting the front crash beam a little haha. Then you have to wire them I do believe.
Yo bro check out my elantra gt on my channel Lmk what you think
Junk.
