Perfect description for my 2014 Santa Fe. I would add that the passenger side is a bit tighter b/c of the wiper fluid reservoir.

Can you remove the whole fog light housing from there or do you need to remove the bumper? Mine is cracked
I believe you have to get the bumper off to get the fog light housing off. I couldn't notice any quick way to get the fog light housing off

If its the LED strip that is in the main headlight itself, then that is usually not easily replecable. If you have a 2016-2018 Santa Fe and if its the LED light strip on the bottom of the bumper and if it goes bad, then its either a bad connection or likely the entire part needs to be replaced. Unfortunately I don't have the car with me right now , so I couldn't be more help.

My car has way more equipment in the bumper blocking the way, I couldn't reach the bulb from the bottom. Looks like I have to take the whole bumper off to change those bulbs. My car is a top spec Santa Fe with all the radars and proximity sensors, and it has extra foam packings in the bumper.
Please add that if it is a halogen bulb (usually is) people should not touch the glass. If they do touch the glass clean it with a paper towel and some alcohol-really anything that will remove skin oil from the bulb. Then install.

My 2016 santa fe sport doesn't have foglights from factory, only the cutouts/knockout covers.
Is adding foglights as easy as connecting them to factory harness?

I tried to DIY and found out my fog lamps are not the same as in the video, mine has 2 globes, one fog lamp and one cornering light. While I opened the access hole, I can only see and grab the cornering light. I think I will have to remove the whole front bumper for full access. :(
