1:05 The rhythm's name is "Pimpin hard". The way you get into beat three is the "Pimpin" part. Just before beat three is a bass tap, then another bass tap on beat three. You space these out just a bit more than 16th notes would allow, hence the pimpin. 8. 8. 16 (early)16 (late)4 (That is, two dotted eighths, two sixteenths then a quarter gets us to beat three) Either the second 16th is early (unlikely) or the quarter note is late. Creates a care-free groove. Nice, man.
