Thanks for the nice video about Vaidya Grama, and Ayurvedic village run by Punarnawa Trust in Koyambatoor district of Tamilnadu. The interview with German Venkatesh by Sree Aiyar is so inspiring. May Paramatma bless both of you to continue the great work.
Very inspiring and fascinating place and the work everyone at Vaidyagrama does. Besides rediscovering the rich heritage of ayurveda this place also practices sustainable livelihoods for nearby communities, which is very commendable. There are unverified stories about how some other large community welfare organisations, like the Isha Foundation rub by Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev has usurped forest land esp ones which were once used by elephants in the region. Coimbatore is blessed with rich biodiversity and the popular hill station of Ooty is nearby too. We need to replicate the work of Vaidyagrama across India so we all can coexist peacefully with other species. For over a century now we've been encroaching more n more of forest land disturbing the natural habitat of various other species of animals, who then end up trespassing into human settlements. Wish Govt supported more such organisations. Also, found Mr Sree Iyer being too talkative in this clip, and also interrupted Ms Geeta Mohandas often. Very unusual of him. Maybe he's so inspired by this place :-)
Great video please upload one more video ....talking to people working and staying there including sights and sounds , ....great to know about the story of the bank manager who joined to create the dream of her loan availer...more than wealth creators they have become value creators with their template....truly inspiring
Hello Sri Iyerji, Very nice video and very informative. Of course I would agree if we could some of the layout or may be it was supposed to be not shown, I am not sure. I am interested in 2 things. 1. Why don't you organise a meet with a topic, just a general meet as to how we all can get together for a larger cause of our motherland. 2. I am from Rajasthan originally and I would like to sustain ayurvedic farming there and set up an similar ayurvedagram, so I would need help. Thanks again
Modiji instead of spending money on smart cities, should have done smart village programme. The Govt should had taken up 10 villeges in 2014 and after successful implementation it is easy to implement in in small villages. After seeing the success many villeges would have implemented on their own. This will bring people back to villages.
Dear sir, i am 66 yrs on medication for Parkinson's disease first stage, with slight gait issue and shuffling on left leg. I am keen to stop Allopathy treatment as it leads to constipation. Kindly suggest. Regards Ramasubramanian
I wish Sree Iyer had taken a minute to walk around and show us the layout. That will inspire more people to visit and contribute.
