I have HAZ, Double/Trips and Tanker… all I have is my CLP. I road test in 2 weeks…
dmv.ny.gov/commercial-drivers/endorsement-and-restriction-changes here it says CLP will not be issued with Doubles/tripples. I'm in NY though, what state are you in?
Hi, I will be taking the written test to get my CLP in June. I already did the application online, so I selected Tanker and Triple/Double Endorsement as well the hazmat’s.
Do you know if I will be issued the CLP if I failed just the hazmat section? Do I have to pass all selected endorsements to be issued the CLP?
So you can get tankers trips and doubles with just the permit?
Correct, Mac - you do NOT need to take another road test to get those endorsements, you just need to take your permit tests for them!

Hi I have my class A license with most of the endorsements: “ passenger, school bus, doubles and triples, tank, hazmat, air brakes” I can’t pass metal coil and tow truck, those 2 are the only ones I have left I live in NY
