    Thanks for the tutorial! how would you let one customer book multiple spaces for the same appointment type on the same day, ie if i have 5 spaces and one customer wants to book for themselves and their friend without having to go through the process again?

      Hi Jimmy. When the client is booking online, there is an option that says "Select and add another time" after they've selected their initial appointment time. Clients are able to select as many appointments as they want for the same date or multiple dates. Hope that helps. 😊

    As a hair stylist what if I wants to slightly overlap for example I have a 2 hour service but the last 30 minutes is drying time so I could get in the second client within that window to begin

      I would suggest changing the service time to 1 hr 30 minutes for booking. Hope that helps. 😊

    This is fantastic, but I wonder: any chance you have a tutorial on teaching staff how to use Acuity? We’ve done our setup but find any training information is completely missing on behalf of Acuity.

    Acuity is so confusing. I keep watching and watching this, and still have so many questions. Sorry I paid for acuity. Going to cancel

      It was the simplest and best scheduler until Squarespace bought it. They made a tangled mess of something simple and functional

    Great Tutorial ‼️How do you add calendars choice on the scheduling page options. For Example, when a client is booking and there’s more than 1 staff that provides the same service, how can they get the option of selecting a specific staff for that service before checking out⁉️😩HELPPPP

    I have a couple of questions:
    1) Can customers who have paid for membership also have several hours available for a free offer?
    2) There's a function that allows you to make a promotion (satisfied or free) the customer at the end of the consultation decides whether to pay or not.

      Yes, you can certainly setup Acuity for this type of regular availability.

    Thanks for the tutorial. Big question! Why are some hour availability time slots not showing up in the different appointment types when clients want to schedule? For example, a 60 min session on Tu has hours from 10-1p, 4-8p. I have a buffer of 15 min before and after each time. The 6p or 7p time slot doesn't not show up for example.

    Nice job. I've set up my schedule and appointment types. However, I do not want all appointment types to be available for all of the times in my schedule. How do I handle that or do I need to set up two different schedules, one for each appointment type?

      You can set up availability by appointment type. In the availability section there should be a link or gear icon to do so.

    Is there a way for the client to select multiple hours? We are trying to use this as a room booking software, so the room is available 9-5 but if I need it for 3 hours (as the client) can I highlight 3 hours in 1 booking, or do I have to:
    1. set up a 1 hour service on the back end
    2. then client has to pick 1 hour, then 1 hour, then 1 hour to have a 3 hour slot?

    I’m hoping I can get some clarity on this question:
    I’m staring a mobile business the times I want to be available are 9, 10:30, 12:15. Each appointment will take 30 minutes. So for example from 9-9:30 I’d have a client, I need to allow my self at least 15 minutes to clean up and at least 30 minutes to get to the next client. I don’t want someone to be booking an appointment in between 9:30-10. I only want them to be able to book at 9,10:30, and 12:15. So how exactly to I schedule my availability or only allow them to choose those times?

    We have 15 minute one on one appts. We want only two slots every 15 minutes however we have 3 appt types. Those two slots could be all one appt type or two different appt types. Additionally, the appt types need to have different limits. How do I set this up?

    On the calendar where you put your availability, (6:58) are you able to input several separate individual hours in one day so that my students can schedule on an hourly basis? I have a tutoring business and I need to fill time slots, and each timeslot cannot have more than 4 students at a time. Is it customizable at that level? I am really curious, thanks for this video it is awesome!

      Yes, you can achieve this using the Appointments per time slot setting:
      In the Availability section, click Edit availability/limits for the chosen calendar.
      Under Calendar scheduling limits, find the Appointments per time slot section.
      Enter the number 4 here. This restricts clients from booking more than 4 appointments in your single hour slots.

      @@Simpletivity Ok one more thing that is a bit more complex. Is it possible to program each student differently in the same class/timeslot? In other words, if you have a max compacity of 4 people with a max duration of 4 weeks in a class/timeslot. But they all might start and stop at different times leaving some slots open for other students to join. Sort of like a continuous membership. Is this possible? I hope that makes sense...

    Hey, I’ve been having a hard time with this. I am new. I just started doing Nails and I want to create this app so that my customers can use to book the apartment but I was using the blue app call acuity I couldn’t get anywhere so does that mean I have to use the black app because I’m the owner I don’t know the difference. I am so confused.

      Yes, Acuity Scheduling offers two mobile apps for different purposes:
      Acuity Scheduling Client App (Blue Icon): Designed for clients to book and manage their appointments with businesses using Acuity.
      Acuity Scheduling Admin App (Black Icon): Intended for business owners to manage their schedules, client information, and appointments.

    I signed up for the text reminder feature but it doesnt work. It sends text but incomplete. I made sure the text reminder is within the limited characters per text though. Dont know hwy it doesn’t work.

    With Acuity Scheduling, when clients book an appointment with us. Our list of appointments comes up but packages don't. Accept for small writing on the top left that says packages and gift certificates. When you click on it all packages do come up but most clients miss them because of the small print. Is there a way to make it larger in Acuity?

    thank you for the video. i would have a question. I am running a private soccer business. I am already using this software but i currently use the way that:
    1: costumer sign up on my website,
    2: they pay through Samcart either monthly membership or 3 month membership
    3: i schedule them to the Acuity app so they have a fix weekly time to come to practice
    But i have hard time managing rescheduled sessions.
    IS there a way that parents can pay monthly / or different option, I ADD THEM TO THE CALENDAR but if someone can not make it they have access to change their appointment ?

      I have separate availability for each calendar or appointment type. So my 20 mins Discovery calls can only be booked at specified times. My 50 mins appointments have their own times. Does that make sense?

    I have two calendars on Acuity. I have a hair salon and need the two calendars for new clients and returning clients. Is there a way to sync the two calendars so that if an appointment is made in any time slot on one calendar another appointment on a different calendar in the same time slot can not be booked. For example: if a customer makes an appointment at 10am on Saturday on the "Returning Clients" calendar how do I block another customer from making a 10am appointment on the same day. If that makes sense

    Honestly I only want to acuity for the “add on” and picture of the service feature other than that idc for acuity because its extremely difficult as far as availability if i work 12-6 i want/need to have about 3-4 clients a day but when i test it out if has all times and the next time is like for 15 mins later example: 12:00, 12:15, 12:30 like is that normal or should there be only 3 times listed with 2hrs in between the next time?

    How can I set different price options for my clients? I want to create a donation based course with this options:
    1. chose a price (so they can fill in any amount they want)
    2. pay the regular price f.ex. 12€ (the price the course costs normally)

    I have a question. Tell me if I can use Acuity scheduling for setting up group meetings for interviewing potential employees. The interview session usually has two managers and third is the interview candidate. Is there a way three of them can schedule an interview session among themselves. The managers will not have access to the backend of the website, so they can't set their availability through the admin console of the website.

      To book two services for the same client at the same time, you'll need to create a "package" or "group appointment" that includes both services.
