While I was at the Source Kids expo on the weekend, I bumped into the superstar Isabella.
Firstly, I"M SORRY FOR YELLING. It was really loud at the expo and I didn't realise my mic was actually quite good at removing it all. I know for next time...
When I was talking to Isabella and mum, I noticed her chair seemed to be now too small for her. So I figured lets grow the chair right here and explain why and how.
𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘁𝗵:
🟠 Footplates were too high: Indicated by the fact we were not getting good femoral loading (gap between the bottom of her leg and the cushion).
🟠 Seat Depth was too short: Indicated by a larger than 2 finger gap between her popetial fosa (knee crease) and the front of the cushion.
PRO TIP: When talking to families, let them know - '𝒘𝒉𝒆𝒏 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒆 𝒔𝒉𝒐𝒆 𝒔𝒊𝒛𝒆𝒔, 𝒃𝒆𝒔𝒕 𝒕𝒐 𝒈𝒆𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒊𝒓 𝒈𝒓𝒐𝒘𝒏 𝒂𝒔 𝒘𝒆𝒍𝒍'.

No Power Recline on this chair. Just straight back canes :)
