These cutlery sets are usually made for lunch you pack for work, or take-out, or for camping - to replace plastic cutlery you'd throw away. That's why they come with a case and a bag. But you can get that for probably $5.
In the US you can pick these up at Walmart for not much money.

Seeing Carhartt turn from a working class brand into a fashion brand kinda breaks my heart. I’m finally at a point in my life where I actually can save up and buy good quality clothes that I can use for years. I’m excited about that. That, AND I need clothes that can keep me warm/shed water, since I moved to Alaska.
Having a Carhartt jacket was a sort of hopeful “checklist” item for me, but once a brand starts focusing on fashion, then I can’t trust their quality (seam construction, materials, etc.) anymore. I can’t take a gamble on spending my savings on a jacket that might not keep me warm or last as long.
Check out Duluth Trading Co. They do the same kind of thing as Carhartt but haven't gone the fashion way yet.
I suggest buying used ones from Ebay. I bought a used original Carhart for working during the winter time.
Not to mention a brand sold a paper clip for $400. 400 GODDAMN DOLLARS!!?! But it doesn't end there. The concerning part is it's OUT OF STOCK!!?! 😭😭😭 It better hold my life together.

Carhartt is a brand that was originally made to provide blue collar workers with quality apparel that will last throughout the intense physical labor they do nearly every day. My dad owns many Carhartt things and they have lasted near as long as I've been on this planet. But trying to sell a lunch bag made from their canvas? I'm hoping it's a joke but I'm sure it's not. Most guys I know would use a tiny Igloo cooler or just an actual brown paper bag.

@@nerdypenguin9164 It's something my husband mentioned recently. There's become a level of entitlement with Carhartt that is starting to approach luxury brand which I hate. I think it just comes with the craziness of social media these days.
I did some research and it seems like carhartt has two separate brands, carhartt and carhartt WIP. WIP is their street fashion company that is basing designs off of orginal carhartt with a European twist to it. WIP is the one selling the paper bag, not the orginal carhartt. Orginal carhartt seems to still be pretty average costing and still makes blue collar working clothes from what I've seen while WIP is almost double those prices and focuses on street fashion.

According to popularity polls + my own knowledge, Cinnamoroll is extremely popular while My Melody is very popular (within top 10). So, the only way this makes sense pricing-wise is the My Melody cups being more rare because less were made because she's a less popular character. It'd be more understandable if this were Chococat or even My Sweet Piano, or whichever actually less popular/niche Sanrio character were on the cups. With that being said, double the price for essentially the same thing is scammy behavior (especially for the quantity seen, they have plenty of each character's cup, yeesh).

Then the people who wanted to look like hard workers, came along and made sure those ACTUAL hard workers, pay more for less quality.
My mom was in the IBEW and ended up becoming a Forman at one point. The Carharrt overalls and jackets she had were top notch. I’d grab them if I went out the brisk cold or blizzards and holy hell did they keep you warm.
Then I decided to wear timblerlands to work (i worked in a dish pit, but these boots were non slip and felt great on my feet) and one of the kids whose real “fashionista” asked me why I wore them to work….
They were actually wondering why I wore WORK boots to work….

My husband and I own ONE pair of shoes a piece at any given point.
My current shoes are a pair of black sketchers with barely any tread left, that I bought three years ago, and his are a cheap, hard pair of shoes he got four months ago because his last pair fell apart.
Both shoes look pretty dirty and I won't be giving these up until they literally fall apart.
Why only one pair? We poor. I can't work due to disability and I'm currently fighting the system to get payments (started two years ago) and he's the assistant manager of a store.

Carhartt isn't a designer brand though. It was specifically made for the working class and construction workers, and then it became popular amongst the rich who wanted to cosplay as the working class. And not to defend the fashion brand cutlery, but a single knife/fork/spoon and a carrying case is made for camping or for ppl who don't get to eat home a lot and have to pack a lunch. I have a set that i take with me when i go out for the day (not designer, obviously). They're great

I love eating breadrolls and when I buy them anywhere they 90% of the time come in a paper bag, so I usually just make sure they're fully clean after using them and store them somewhere so I can reuse them, some places (like my local supermarket) also just have paper bags next to the bread, breadrolls, dessert etc. and they're free in my local supermarket so you can just take them.

I work construction, I wear Carhartt everyday for work. It used to be considered a brand for the hard working blue collar. The fact that it’s now considered by many to be a designer brand, and pay exorbitant prices for their products now brings tears to my eyes 😢
